Murdering unborn babies is a right?

Based upon past historical data: 3,287+ UNBORN BABY MURDERS have occurred in the last 24 hours. See my post “BABY HOLOCAUST” posted January 22, 2008.

I will not be continuing my Creationism posts today. I do plan to return to them soon.

Then, I plan to answer the response about Iraq. I am sorry for the change in plans. Plans, in reality, often are altered for one reason or another. “The best laid plans … often go astray.” Thank you for your understanding and patience.

How many unborn toddlers were murdered today because of the humanistic, paganish, barbaric decisions of the United States Supreme Court?

The following letter to the editor was entitled “Uneducated opinion.” As far as I know the Peoria Journal Star staff titles the letters. At least the letters I send in that are published are titled by them.

“After reading Cal Thomas’ Jan. 20 column (‘Roe v. Wade a reflection of our moral decay’), I was shocked that a man educated enough to construct a well-written essay could have such an uneducated, one-sided opinion on abortion.

I’m glad that there are still Americans who care about the issues, but this severely skewed article is another example of how narrow-minded the American people have become.

Thomas didn’t write that abortions in our country might have erased the person who would discover the cure for cancer, develop an alternative fuel or establish world peace. Instead, he claimed that we have killed an entire generation of grunt workers from the lowest class, people who would have filed the positions illegal immigrants occupy today.

The real problem with our country has nothing to do with the fact that our government has decided to protect the rights of its women by giving them the choice to command their own lives. It lies in the people who look down on those women for exercising that choice.

Anyone who assumes that these women are incapable of producing an outstanding member of society is more a threat to the future of this country than Roe v. Wade could ever be.

>>>>> >>>>>>>
Groveland”

I have copied the above letter as it was printed in the Peoria Journal Star on January 24, 2008, page A4 except for leaving out the name of the author of the letter. Yesterday, I posted “Cal Thomas’ Jan. 20 column (‘Roe v. Wade a reflection of our moral decay’)” so that the reader could go directly to his article for comparison.

The theme of Cal Thomas’ commentary is the moral decay of much of American society that led to the abhorrent “Roe v. Wade” Supreme Court travesty of justice, logic, and morality. The opposition letter does not discuss that moral decay at all.

Instead, the author is “shocked that a man educated enough to construct a well-written essay could have such an uneducated, one-sided opinion on abortion.” So, even though Cal Thomas is educated enough to write a well constructed essay, he is, in reality, according to the author an uneducated person because Mr. Thomas does not agree with the author. In short, the first sentence begins with the old libertine’s standby when they have nothing cogent to say—name calling!

However, the author doesn’t stop with the first paragraph. Paragraph two refers to the Thomas’ essay as a “severely skewed article” and then the author implies that Mr. Thomas is narrow-minded along with anyone else who disagrees with the “official position” of supporting the MURDER of UNBORN BABIES. I’m not sure how the article is severely skewed but it must be since the author proclaimed it to be severely skewed.

Paragraph four proclaims that the real problem in our country is NOT the MURDERING of UNBORN BABIES! No! Of course not! The real problem, according to the author, is all those unenlightened, narrow-minded, uneducated peons who dare to “look down on those women for exercising that choice.” The so-called choice, of course, is to MURDER YOUR OWN UNBORN BABY.

How does the author know that all those who are opposed to the MURDER of UNBORN BABIES also look down upon those women who MURDER their UNBORN BABIES? Why because the author declares it to be the case. The author also must be a mind reader.

News flash to the author! I don’t look down upon women who MURDER their UNBORN BABIES. I feel great sorrow. Sorrow for the MURDERED BABY!!! And sorrow for the mother who decided to commit the SIN of MURDER for whatever reason. Sorrow because I believe that if she does not REPENT, she has condemned herself to eternal spiritual condemnation as proclaimed in the Bible—the WORD of GOD. “… and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.” I John 3: 15b (NIV) “‘But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the MURDERERS (My capitalization.), the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.’” Revelation 21: 8 (NIV)

However, none of this name calling is the theme of the letter. The theme is in paragraph three of the letter. Paragraph three declares: “Thomas didn’t write that abortions in our country might have erased the person who would discover the cure for cancer, develop an alternative fuel or establish world peace. Instead, he claimed that we have killed an entire generation of grunt workers from the lowest class, people who would have filed the positions illegal immigrants occupy today.”

What!!! Where did the author come up with this fantasy? For the life of me, I can NOT find such nonsense in his article.

The closest I could come to are these sentences by Mr. Thomas. “These were people who, regardless of the circumstances of the women who carried them, had the potential to contribute to the country and to the world. But now they cannot, because they are not.” And the next paragraph which stated: “Would we be fighting the battle over immigration had we not rid ourselves of a generation of humans who likely would have done the work for which we are now importing illegal aliens? Actions have consequences.”

Now, please explain to me where Mr. Thomas declares that “we have killed an entire generation of grunt workers from the lowest class.” Where???

Mr. Thomas is talking about unintended consequences. (Anyway, I hope they were unintended.) If we would not have MURDERED 50 million UNBORN BABIES, we may not “need” illegal immigrants to fill all kinds of positions within our society. However, since there are an estimated 12 million illegals in the country, obviously more positions would be needed than just those filled by illegal aliens. Mr. Thomas also refers to the potential of all the MURDERED UNBORN BABIES. NO WHERE DOES HE DECLARE THAT ONLY BABIES FROM THE LOWER CLASS ARE MURDERED.

In fact, Mr. Thomas does not even mention classes of society. That must be a fiction from the mind of the author! We all know or should know that women from all strata of society MURDER UNBORN BABIES. This is not now and never has been a class issue. IT IS A MURDER ISSUE!!!

The author ends the tirade with this meaningless declaration: “Anyone who assumes that these women are incapable of producing an outstanding member of society is more a threat to the future of this country than Roe v. Wade could ever be.” Since Mr. Thomas never came close to assuming or claiming “that women are incapable of producing an outstanding member of society,” the author ends the argument with a non-argument. The author has attempted to construct a mythical “straw man” and then declares that mythical “straw-man” to be a greater threat to our society than the MURDER of 40-50 million UNBORN BABIES.

WHAT NONSENSE!!! Even if the author’s claim were true, it would still be nonsense. It would be similar to declaring that believing that Jews are incapable of leading a productive life is more a threat to society than MURDERING 3.5 million Jews in the holocaust of World WAR II. When did belief become more of a threat than actual MURDER!!!

Who is the author trying to fool with such nonsense? Certainly no one who can read and think!

“‘This is why I speak to them in parables: Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’” Matthew 13: 13-15 (NIV)

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)

Mr. Thomas seems to understand this truth from the Bible. It seems evident that the author of the letter does not!

I glanced at this article on the day it was published—January 20, 2008, page A4, Peoria Journal Star—but wasn’t going to deal with it until a letter to the editor was written and published in response to the commentary. Since I wanted to respond to the letter, I thought I’d better first post this article so that readers would understand the original letter and my comments on that letter. I had not intended to comment on the January 20th article by Cal Thomas but I ended up making a few brief comments.

The original commentary by Cal Thomas:

“Roe v. Wade a reflection of our moral decay

Thirty-five years after the Supreme Court unilaterally struck down state laws restricting abortion, the cost of that decision continues to increase our moral deficit, which will have far greater (and eternal) consequences than the impact from economic challenges during a possible recession.

Depending on how one counts the number of abortions per year since 1973, more than 50 million people who might have been are not. These were people who, regardless of the circumstances of the women who carried them, had the potential to contribute to the country and to the world. But now they cannot, because they are not.

Would we be fighting the battle over immigration had we not rid ourselves of a generation of humans who likely would have done the work for which we are now importing illegal aliens? Actions have consequences.

Roe and its companion case, Doe v. Bolton, took the question of endowment of life by our Creator and placed it in the hands of individuals. History has shown what happens when humanity seizes such power for itself: political dictatorships, eugenics and scientific experiments unrestricted by any moorings to a moral code. Each becomes a taker of life, rather than a giver, inverting the creation model into one of destruction and transforming the pregnant woman from life-giver to life-taker.

The social restructuring unleashed by the judicial fiat that was Roe created a cultural fissure that remains today. We moved quickly from acknowledgement of a right to live to assertions of a right to die.

In her essay ‘The Women of Roe v. Wade,’ Harvard professor Mary Ann Glendon calls to mind the novelist Walker Percy who prophesied two years before Roe that ‘Qualitarian Centers’ would spring up ‘where, as one of Percy’s characters explained, doctors would respect ‘the right of an unwanted child not to have to endure a life of suffering.’’

State governments, Percy suggested, might eventually recognize a right to die. Arrangements would be made for the sick and elderly to push a button that would transport them to a ‘happy death’ in Michigan, a ‘joyful exitus’ in New York, or a ‘luanalu-hai’ in Hawaii. Percy’s fiction increasingly resembles fact.

Abortion on demand cannot be seen in isolation from social breakdown. In 1973, near the end of the Vietnam War and the approaching resignation of President Nixon two years later, the focus on self, pleasure and convenience by baby boomers was at its height. Marriages easily dissolved as no-fault divorce laws were passed; cohabitation and out-of-wedlock births were on the rise; unwanted babies (who were labeled ‘products of conception’ to make it easier to deny the obvious) became an impediment to the pursuit of pleasure and material gain.

Abortion was not a cause, but a reflection of our decadence and deviancy. One does not begin to kill babies until other dominos have fallen. And once they have fallen, it becomes difficult to set them right because to do so would require an admission of something so horrible that those responsible for this fetal holocaust would have to acknowledge their sin and repent of it. Such a thing is not a character trait of this most pampered generation.

In recent years there have been signs that things may be, if not turning around, then moderating. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, abortion numbers have declined steadily since 1990, from a high of 1.2 million annually to fewer than 900,000. (Notice that his figures are different that the figures that I quoted in my post of January 22, 2008. We are using different sources and they don’t agree which is not unusual for something as difficult as keeping track of the number of murders each year of unborn babies—my addition.) This is due, I believe, to the commitment of the pro-life movement through pregnancy help centers, information by Internet, marches and what appears to be a growing pro-life consensus among women who reject the cavalier attitudes about life displayed by their mothers’ feminist generation.

Hollywood has infused a pro-life subplot into films such as ‘Juno’ and ‘Knocked Up.’ Might the ‘old-fashioned’ become the new fashion?

Politicians and judges could help bury Roe by requiring that pregnant women receive complete information about the nature of the life within them, including being required to view sonograms before electing abortion. This would follow truth-in-labeling and truth-in-lending laws by fully informing and empowering women. (Of course, any person who has taken a basic biology class in high school should already know this. Are our high schools failing to teach the truth?—my addition) Such an approach would satisfy the liberal demand to keep abortion ‘safe and legal’ and the pro-life desire to make them rare. (The MURDER of UNBORN BABIES can never be safe and legal. It is ALWAYS MURDER to the BABY and no human power has the right to make it legal!!! This pro-lifer wants the MURDER of UNBORN BABIES ENDED. There is no compromise to APPEASE MURDERERS and their SUPPORTERS—my addition)

After 35 years of slaughtering our young, isn’t it time to stop? That child born in 1973 could be a parent now. There are children who could have been born today. Thirty-five years of killing has diminished and corrupted us all. (I disagree with this statement. It has not corrupted those who continue to fight and pray from the end of this moral madness—my addition.) Let’s summon the moral courage to stop it for our sake … and for theirs.” (I would also add—for the sake of the country because GOD does not allow the SINS of a country to go on indefinitely without punishment—my addition.)

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)

I received the following post by e-mail this weekend and thought it important enough to post it tonight rather than what I had planned. I will resume my regular comments tomorrow night the LORD willing.

“The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees was not at the office and had not phoned in sick. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee’s home phone number and was greeted with a child’s whispered. ‘Hello?’

‘Is your daddy home?’ he asked.

‘Yes,’ whispered the small voice.

‘May I talk with him?’

The child whispered, ‘No.’

Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, ‘Is your Mommy there?’

‘Yes.’

‘May I talk with her?’

Again the small voice whispered, ‘No.’

Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, ‘Is anybody else there?’

‘Yes,’ whispered the child, ‘a policeman.’

Wondering what a policeman would be doing at his employee’s home, the boss asked, ‘May I speak with the policeman?’

‘No, he’s busy,’ whispered the child.

‘Busy doing what?’

‘Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman,’ came the whispered answer.

Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, ‘What is that noise?’

‘A helicopter.’ answered the whispering voice.

‘What is going on there?’ demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.

Again, whispering, the child answered, ‘The search team just landed a helicopter.’

Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, ‘What are they searching for?’

Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle...

I laughed so hard when I read this I just had to pass it along. I hope you enjoyed it. My regular post will resume tomorrow. I did change the title—“Why parents drink” hoping not to tip off the punch line.

Tonight’s post is our response to the letter sent by Farmers Insurance Group dated January 10, 2008 and posted on January 19, 2008 as “Farmers Insurance Group continues to be obstinate”

Dear Ms. >>>>>>

Thank you for the small payment received in the letter dated December 19, 2007 for our claim which occurred on August 10, 2006. It is a meager beginning but it is a beginning. However, we must take exception with your company attempting to unilaterally declare that certain issues in relation to the claim have been settled. They have not been to our satisfaction and we still consider them to be open.

You state in the letter of the same date that it is Farmers Insurance Group’s “goal to provide superior service to each of our customers.” We are not certain how you define superior service but what has transpired over the last one year, 5 months, and 14 days certainly does not translate into superior service by our definition—perhaps superior delaying tactics; but certainly not superior service.

Then after all this time in your letter dated January 10, 2008, your company wants to conclude the claim by January 31, 2008. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen since there are far too many unresolved issues that your company is trying to complete by fiat.

You further proclaim that >>>> >>>>>>>>’s “letter addressed to Mr. Vance appears to be an oversight.” Such a statement from your company leads us to wonder what other “oversights” have occurred in the course of dealing with this claim over the last one year, 5 months, and 14 days.
Page one of two pages

Your company stubbornly refuses to deal with Mr. Vance as our representative as we requested in writing and as your previous Claims Representative attempted to do. Why? What are you trying to hide?

Your company has a cadre of Claims Representatives. Your company has a battalion of in-house lawyers. Mr. Vance did not get involved in this claim until approximately one year after the occurrence and only after we became exasperated in our attempts to deal with your company.

We want very much for this claim to be settled—it has been one year, five months and 14 days since the event. However, we also want a fair and equitable completion of the claim. We believe Mr. Vance can help reach that fair and equitable conclusion. It gives the appearance that your company may be trying to hide pertinent information through your refusal to work toward an equitable conclusion to this claim.

We request once again that your company work with Mr. Vance as our representative to reach a fair and equitable conclusion to this claim. The solution is relatively simple. Provide Mr. Vance with all the information that he has requested as well as the name and mailing address of your CEO and deal exclusively with him to reach a settlement.

If after doing so, Mr. Vance agrees that the negotiated settlement that is reached between your company and him is fair and equitable, we will accept that settlement as the conclusion of our claim. By working with Mr. Vance in a cooperative manner, we can conclude this claim. By refusing the same, the claim will proceed in whatever direct that may occur until we are satisfied with the result. The “we” includes Mr. Vance whether or not your company is willing to work with him. Please respond quickly and positively.

Sincerely,

Republican Party: 48 precincts have one candidate running for precinct committeeman
Green Party: 2 precincts have one candidate running for precinct committeeman

(Since each party is allowed one precinct committeeman the candidate running in each district without opposition should be the party precinct committeeman for that precinct. I don’t know how many precincts there are in Tazewell County—obviously at least 51.)

In Tazewell County, the Democrat Party primary contested races consist of 1) For President 2) For State Representative 91st Legislative District 3) For County Board members from District One (vote for three) out of 17 possible primary races—17.65%. (I excluded all precinct committeeman positions since there is no competition in those races.)

In Tazewell County, the Constitutional Party primary contested races consist of none out of 17 possible primary races—00.0%. (I excluded all precinct committeeman positions since there is no competition in those races.)

The contested races in November based upon the primary races consist of 1) For President 2) For the U.S. Senate 3) For County Recorder 4) For County Board Chairman 5) For County Board members from District One (vote for three) 6) For County Board members from District Three (vote for three) out of 17 possible general election races—35.3%. (I excluded all precinct committeeman positions since there is no competition in those races.) There is talk of the Democrat Party appointing a candidate to run in the 18th Congressional District race. I imagine other appointed candidates might also surface. I don’t know the exact rules for this in Illinois.

The question is: Where is the competition within the parties in the primaries and between the parties in the general election?
Democrats for Romney?

“Democrats for Romney?
By Doug Ibendahl
For Family Taxpayers Network
www.familytaxpayers.net

The ultra-leftwing Daily Kos is encouraging fellow liberal Democrats to meddle in today’s Michigan Primary by voting for Mitt Romney on the Republican side.

In a call-to-action entitled ‘Let’s have some fun in Michigan’ the popular national blog for Democrats explains its logic: ‘Michigan Democrats should vote for Mitt Romney, because if Mitt wins, Democrats win. And we want Romney in, because the more Republican candidates we have fighting it out, trashing each other with negative ads and spending tons of money, the better it is for us. We want Mitt to stay in the race, and to do that, we need him to win in Michigan.’ We’ll soon know how many Democrats answer the open invitation for mischief. It could be a significant number, especially since the Michigan Presidential Primary on the Democratic side is truly a bust.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has stripped Michigan of its Democratic delegates as punishment for moving the state’s primary ahead too early, and without consent. Both John Edwards and Barack Obama took their names off the Michigan ballot long ago. On the Democratic side, only Hillary Clinton has devoted any material time and resources to Michigan.

The attempt to make the state a player on the national scene with an early primary has become a huge embarrassing disaster for the Michigan Democratic Party. (It’s somewhat less so on the GOP side. The national Republicans are taking away only half of the state’s Republican delegates as punishment for breaking the scheduling rules.)

So today’s primary for the Democrats is already a joke. Hillary’s ‘win’ will essentially be meaningless, unless national Democratic leaders decide to commute the punishment by letting the delegates count by convention time (and that’s if Hillary even remains in the race by then).

Edwards and Obama supporters can still go anti-Hillary today by casting a vote for ‘uncommitted.’ But many may feel it’s not worth trudging out into the cold and snow just for that option.

So the Republican Primary today looks wide open to mischief by Democrat crossovers.

That’s a shame. Unfortunately, the Republicans hardly have clean hands on this score. And of course the Daily Kos is promoting the idea of crossing over as payback.

The lefties point to at least three cases in Michigan, beginning in 1972, where Republicans encouraged their own crossovers in an effort to help nominate the weakest Democrat on the ballot.

The Democrats may be giving the Republicans too much credit/blame for their past activities. It’s hard to say.

But it is pretty clear that the basic charge of past Republican mischief is very valid. In fact just last night on MSNBC’s Tucker show, legendary Republican political consultant Roger Stone basically boasted about being hired for just such a crossover-voter drive years ago in Michigan.

So discussions about which side is sleazier on this score are basically a waste of time. Neither party comes to the table with clean hands.

Instead, there is something much more important for all Republicans to think about. Do we even want the candidate the Democrats are trying to prop-up?

Personally, I say no. In fact if you’ve watched the recent debates, it’s pretty obvious that the person the Democrats want to keep the most is the same man all the other GOP candidates like the least.

That kind of inverse relationship probably shouldn’t be surprising. It should tell us something.

As Romney’s moved his campaign from state to state he’s used his personal fortune to fund a brutal air war attacking his closest competitors. Granted, that’s hardly a big deal all by itself.

The problem is Romney can typically be found attacking his opponents for something he himself did as Governor of Massachusetts. That seems to be what’s really gotten under the skin of some of the others.

Some of the other candidates may mix it up from time to time. But it’s easy to see they’re all pretty much united in being sick and tired of Mitt. There’s some indication that the Republican electorate has started feeling the same way.

Romney is starting to look like the Eddie Haskell of this race. It’s no wonder a GOP-hating site like the Daily Kos is playing shady games and trying to force us to keep Mitt around.

Posted January 15, 2008”

This was posted the same day as the Michigan primary and I didn’t read it until after the primary. The possibility and sometimes the probability that members of one party will cross over to another party’s primary and vote for the weaker candidates is one reason why I don’t like open primaries. An open primary lets an individual change from party to party at any primary election. A closed primary requires a voter to miss one primary election before he can vote for a different party. Thus, voters are less likely to change parties.

I know that people switch from one party to another to nominate candidates because I did it in Arizona which has an open primary system. I did it because the Democratic Party was not running any candidates for some offices in the primary and I wanted some small voice in selecting the officeholder for those uncontested positions. (Both parties should do a better job of filling nomination positions so that there are no uncontested offices.)

I don’t know if Democrats voted for Romney in Michigan because of this encouragement although my guess is that some did. I don’t know if that made the difference between his winning and losing the primary but it may have. Allowing such switching defeats the purpose of a PARTY primary since, if outsiders are allowed to vote, it is not really the party faithful who are selected the party’s candidates. It is no longer a party’s primary; it is a voters’ primary.

The supporters of the Democratic Party should be the ones to nominate the candidates for the Democratic Party for the general election. The supporters of the Republican Party should be the ones to nominate the candidate for the Republican Party for the general election. The same is true for all other parties. That is the purpose of a political party primary.

Sexual immorality in today’s world

The Word of GOD—the Bible—is not a “you’re okay; I’m okay” type of book. In contrast, it is a “You’re NOT okay; here is how to be saved spiritually through JESUS the CHRIST and only then are you okay” type of book.

The world has been sold a lie by the Satanic concept of consenting adults being allowed to do as they wish. I know of no place in the Word of GOD where immoral sexual behavior has a dividing line between adults and children. Of course, sexual behavior between an adult and a child is immoral. However, contrary to the lies spewed forth by Satan and the world, the only Biblically acceptable sexual intercourse is between a man and a woman who are married to each other.

As a rule, the world is not going to speak out against its own immorality. Rather, those of the world attempt to justify such behavior even to the extent of trying to justify and legalize the MURDER of their own unborn children.

If Christians do not boldly speak out about immoral behavior, who will? This nation has a former President who has had a long history of being accused of sexual immorality and who had an admitted immoral relationship while President. Yet, he receives millions of dollars to speak to groups and is idolized by many. Further, his wife is now seeking the Presidency herself. Where is our moral outrage? Is being silent the same as condoning the immoral behavior?

If Christians do not boldly speak out about immoral behavior, who will? This nation has an actress who is living with and has a child by an actor although not married to each other. They are “partners” in today’s vernacular. She is honored, praised, and admired throughout the world by many worldly people. She was even praised for declaring that she would not have intercourse with said actor until he was officially divorced from his previous wife although they were “involved” with each other. Where is our moral outrage? Is being silent the same as condoning the immoral behavior?

If Christians do not boldly speak out about immoral behavior, who will? “Each of the children, who range in age from 2 to 16, has the same mother but a different father. The alleged abuser was the only father present Wednesday. The others have not responded to notices about the proceedings, Bauer said.” (Peoria Journal Star, May 24, 2007, page B2.) Where is our moral outrage? Is being silent the same as condoning the immoral behavior?

Many of the MURDERS of UNBORN BABIES today are the result of sexual immorality outside of marriage. Sexual immorality and the MURDER of UNBORN BABIES have a positive correlation. Decrease sexual immorality and the MURDER of UNBORN BABIES will also decrease. Increase sexual immorality and the MURDER of UNBORN BABIES will increase.

“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5: 1-11 (NIV)

We can either live a life for self or live a life for GOD. We can not do both! Sexual immorality is sexual immorality regardless of the age of the participants.

It has been 35 years since insanity has hit an all time high. It has been 35 years since Satan tightened his grip upon the United States of America. It has been 35 years since the government sanctioned MURDER of UNBORN CHILDREN!!!

According to a recent news article by the Associated Press posted on the internet on January 17, 2008: “The number of abortions in the United States fell to 1.2 million in 2005, down 25 percent from the all-time high of 1.6 million in 1990 and dropping the abortion rate to its lowest level since 1974, according to [(a)—my addition] report issued Thursday.” Are we suppose to applause a decrease in the murder of unborn babies to 1.2 million in one year? True, it is better than 1.6 million. However, 1.2 million is 1.2 million too many!!! We are MURDERING 1.2 million UNBORN BABIES in one year!!!

Let’s examine these MURDEROUS numbers using a very conservative approach and based upon the information given in the Associated Press story. I checked a previous post I wrote on abortion. From that post, I got the number of abortions for 1973 and 1974—the first two years after MURDER was legalized by an obscene Court decision. The rate of UNBORN BABY MURDERS in 1973 was 774,600. The rate of UNBORN BABY MURDERS in 1974 was 898,600. We know from the news story that the highest number of UNBORN BABY MURDERS was 1.6 million in 1990. Using the conservative number of 1.2 million for each of the additional thirty years up to the end of 2005—the last year of figures, we have an additional 36 million UNBORN BABY MURDERS. The total conservative number of UNBORN BABY MURDERS is 39,273,200 through 2005. Including 2006 and 2007 that figure must be over 40 million UNBORN BABY MURDERS. Is there any other way to describe this slaughter of UNBORN BABIES than as a BABY HOLOCAUST???

Described another way, every day in 2005 there were 3,287+ UNBORN BABY MURDERS. Every hour of every day in 2005 there were 136+ UNBORN BABY MURDERS. Every minute of every hour of every day in 2005 there were 2+ UNBORN BABY MURDERS.

IN 2005 by the recorded record:

365 days = 1,200,000 UNBORN BABY MURDERS
1 day = 3,287+ UNBORN BABY MURDERS
1 hour = 136+ UNBORN BABY MURDERS
1 minute = 2 + UNBORN BABY MURDERS

(These figures DO NOT include any MURDERS by “morning after” pills since there is no possible way for man to document these MURDERS. Of course, GOD knows every single additional MURDER that occurs because of the use of “morning after” pills.)

Slowly, those of moral conviction seem to have made some headway to change this perversity. Yet, much still must be accomplished. We still have every major candidate of one political party supporting the MURDER of UNBORN BABIES. WE still have too many who actually have the immoral audacity to demand to be allowed to MURDER our UNBORN TODDLERS.

Wars fought by the United States have killed thousands upon thousands of Americans. The War of 1812 had an estimated 22,500 dead. The Civil War had an estimated 620,000 causalities. World War I had an estimated 126,000 dead. World War II had an estimated 405,500 dead. The Korean Conflict had an estimated 53,000 dead. The Vietnam Conflict had 47,378 battle deaths and 10,799 other deaths.

Of course, the United States has fought in other wars and conflicts besides those listed. To account for those deaths, add an additional 200,000. (That number is probably inflated but I will use it for this illustration.) That is an estimated 1,485,177 men, women, and probably some children killed in wars fought by the U.S. in the approximate 230 year history of our country. That’s about 1.5 million people in 230 years. That’s a high price to pay for freedom. It’s a price that most of those killed were willing to pay.

January 22, 1973 is a “date that will live in infamy.” On that day thirty five years ago, 9 unelected men declared that women could legally murder their unborn babies. Over those thirty five years at least 40 million UNBORN BABIES were destroyed before they were even delivered. None of those babies had a choice. The vulgar slaughter continues today.

It is overwhelmingly holocaustic. It is overwhelmingly tragic. On Sunday January 15, 2006, page A3 a large display ad was published in the Peoria Journal Star. At the top left of the ad was a picture of a small baby. To the right were these words, “Take my hand not my life…” The ad was calling attention to Sanctity of Human Life Week which was January 16-22, 2006.

How ungodly, how unholy, how tragic! Human life in the United States is now so undervalued that it is necessary to advertise the importance of human life.

Over those thirty five years at least 40 million UNBORN BABIES were destroyed before they were even delivered. None of those babies had a choice. The vulgar slaughter continues today.

The supporters of the murder of unborn babies are fearful. They have not yet repented. They have not yet learned to fear the CREATOR of the universe. But, they are fearful. They are afraid, that with the changes in the Supreme Court, the Court will recognize the obvious—that each baby is a human life and that no one has the right to murder that life. Illinois’ two Senators voted against Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Alito. They are fearful that Roe v. Wade will finally be overturned. They have already seen the Court ordered end to “partial birth” MURDERS.

January 22, 1973 is a “date that will live in infamy.” On that day thirty five years ago, 9 unelected men ruled that women could legally murder their unborn babies. Over those thirty five years at least 40 million UNBORN BABIES were destroyed before they were even delivered. None of those babies had a choice. The vulgar slaughter continues today.

The Peoria Journal Star published an article (1/21/06. page B5) entitled “Group wants state to protect abortion.” “The Illinois chapter of the National Organization for Women is pressuring state legislators to do more to keep abortion legal in the state regardless of federal decisions…. The Freedom of Choice Act will not be drafted and introduced in the General Assembly until the 2007 spring session. Members of the group say they are trying to line up commitments from legislators. Essentially, the act would keep abortion in Illinois legal, even if the Supreme Court overturns the 1973 decision.” Neither that act nor any other act to legalize abortion in the State passed the General Assembly in 2007.

Over those thirty five years at least 40 million UNBORN BABIES were destroyed before they were even delivered. None of those babies had a choice. The vulgar slaughter continues today.

Those who support life over MURDER and DEATH are not finished. We can not relax. We can not stop fighting to save the lives of unborn babies. The supporters of the murder of the unborn have not repented. They have not relented. They will try to do state by state including Illinois what the unconstitutional edict of the Supreme Court did thirty five years before. This election at every level of government is important in preserving life over the “culture of death.” Continue praying, continue doing the will of the LORD, continue supporting candidates who support life over death. Encourage others to do the same.

The BABY HOLOCAUST is real!!!
The BABY HOLOCAUST is here today!!!
The BABY HOLOCAUST MUST END!!!

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)

“He (the LORD JESUS the CHRIST—my addition) went on ‘What comes out of a man is what makes him ‘unclean.’ For from within, out of men’s hearts come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, MURDER (My capitalization—my addition), adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from within and make a man ‘unclean.’’” Mark 7: 20-23 (NIV)

“Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.’” Mark 8: 34-38 (NIV)

I was channel hopping as I often do during commercials. A man was on PBS talking about global warming. He was, of course, warning of its immense dangers to the earth. It was just before the program was about to end at approximately 7: 54 p.m. (+ or -) on Friday, January 18, 2008. He proclaimed, “The earth has cleaned itself up and made other species again” after catastrophes. (My paraphrased quote although I believe it is almost word for word. I left the room immediately to write it down since I was so influenced by the statement.)

I was going to write a post about how utterly ridiculous such a claim was and then it dawned on me. This is brilliant! I had a global warming epiphany! There is absolutely nothing to be concerned about in relation to global warming. So what if the average temperature increases by even 50° or more.

The earth will just cure itself! The earth will just make new species again just as it “has done in the past.” It will actually demonstrate the concept of “Survival of the Fittest.” Who knows, maybe we will develop gills again as we supposedly had in the past eons.

This will be fun! Maybe, we will even get rid of all the fat species which can not survive the climate change. LET THE CLIMATE CHANGE BEGIN!!! ALL HAIL THE SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST!!! MAY THE EARTH BLESS ALL SURVIVING SPECIES!!!

What I can’t understand is why the man on the PBS program was so concerned. If he actually believes that the earth can cure itself as he claims it has in the past, what is the problem? Could it be that he actually does NOT believe that ridiculous nonsense of “The earth has cleaned itself up and made other species again.” What do you think?

CNN radio news likes to proclaim that they are “the most trusted name in news.” I don’t know if CNN television news says the same since I don’t watch it. I don’t know how the corporate bigwigs determined that to be the case. Perhaps a public opinion poll. If so, I hope it was more accurate than the CNN public opinion poll that projected Barack Obama winning by 10 percentage points in New Hampshire the day before the election. If CNN is “the most trusted name in news,” we as a country are in big trouble!

On January 18, 2008 on the 8:00 a.m. radio news cast, a “reporter” declared the following: “Fred Thompson must win in South Carolina (the South Carolina primary Saturday—my addition) or his campaign is over.” (This is my paraphrased quote of what was said—I didn’t have a recorder playing.) What nonsense! It would be good for Fred Thompson to win in South Carolina (It is good to win in any and every State in the primaries) but it is not critical. This seems to be another example of the mass media trying to influence events; NOT report the news.

The problem is that if people believe all is lost, they may act accordingly and abandon the campaign. Reporters have an obligation to report the news fairly and with balance although they often don’t. They have absolutely NO business trying to forecast the future! From what we have seen and heard, they aren’t very good at it.

According to another CNN poll, after John McCain’s victory in New Hampshire he jumped 21 percentage points in the polls and became the leading Republican candidate. In the very next primary, he lost to Mitt Romney. Polls are not that accurate if not done properly and the primaries are notorious for false results. By the way, I have not heard any forecasts by CNN for the South Carolina primary. Maybe, they forgot!!!

As I have said before, the present primaries are all relatively small States—South Carolina has 11 Electoral College votes. Any candidate who stops his campaign before the February 5th primaries is making a mistake. This day will have a number of primaries from coast to coast.

Don’t give up!!! Don’t listen to the mass media!!! Don’t stop working and praying!!! It may be that no one receives a majority of the delegate votes particularly if all the candidates remain until the end of the primary season.

On Friday, October 19, 2007, I began posting a thirteen part series on Barack Obama. The series was based upon an article published in World magazine on October 6, 2007. The following which is a paragraph from the article with my comments is from page 18 of that article.

“The Obama strategy is key to distinguishing himself from Clinton, who shares nearly identical policy positions on issues like health care, economics, and the war in Iraq. The goal is clear: Gain an edge by tapping into a segment of religious voters that Democrats have largely ignored in the past; insist that conservative Christians should compromise on principle for the sake of consensus. (Why??? He is not willing to compromise. He wants capitulation!!!—my addition) In his words, the ‘so-called leaders of the Christian right’ are ‘hijacking’ faith and ‘all too eager to exploit what divides us.’” (One of the major items that divide us is his insistence that it is proper to MURDER unborn babies!!!—my addition)

In this paragraph is the concept of compromise for consensus. Some, who want any Democrat defended, want to compromise in order to select a Presidential candidate who is perceived as being most likely to defeat any Democratic candidate. Political compromise under some circumstances is not only necessary but also desirable.

The real question is what issues are worthy of compromise. Should a Christian compromise his Biblically based moral values to achieve some important political goal?
Should he compromise in relation to the murder of unborn babies to decrease the number of unborn babies who are murdered? That is, should he capitulate on the demand to end the murder of unborn babies if some restricts are placed on the practice? Should he capitulate over civil unions for homosexuals if it means that homosexuals will not be allowed to marry? (Aren’t they basically the same thing?) Should he support a candidate who supports these issues if it means that the Democratic candidate will be defeated in November?

The only Biblical answer I can come up with is—NEVER!!! Do you think GOD makes compromises with EVIL??? Either murdering unborn babies is EVIL or it is not. Either homosexual behavior is SINFUL or it is not. Christians, if they are to be obedient to their SAVIOR, have only one option—to FIGHT against EVIL in what ever form it takes.
No one can unrepentantly compromise with EVIL and expect to stand before GOD uncondemned. We have no choice as a Christian. We can NOT capitulate to EVIL.

“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” II Corinthians 11: 13-15 (NIV)

As published in the Peoria Journal Star on 9/23/07, page A13, “The Center for Voting and Democracy reports that voter turnout in the 38 states that had primaries last year (2006—my addition) averaged just 15 percent—the lowest in history.

In 1996, more than 33 percent turned out for primaries, where the parties’ candidates are selected.”
One difference between the 1996 and the 2006 primaries is that the 1996 primary election was a Presidential primary. Presidential primaries tend to have more people participating in the primary than during non-presidential primaries. Nevertheless, relevant in both instances is that a minority of the eligible voters participated in the primaries.

As of today, four States have held Republican Presidential primaries/caucuses. Michigan was the latest State to have a primary. Mitt Romney received the most votes. So far, three different Republican candidates have “won” a primary. However, the number of delegates so far is minor. The Electoral College votes of the four States (as a guideline for the importance of the State in the delegate selection process) are Iowa—7, Michigan—17, New Hampshire—4, and Wyoming—3. That is a total of 31 Electoral College votes out of a total of 538 or just over 5.76% of the Electoral College votes. This primary election is far from over. DON’T BE MISLED or DISCOURAGED BY THE MASS MEDIA!!!

Next up is the Saturday primaries in South Carolina—8 and Nevada—5 which are still small States in relation to Electoral College votes. The point is: SUPPORTERS of FRED THOMPSON for President should not give up. The race is far from over. We need to work for him in every primary that he is involved in. We need to get to the polls and vote for him and his delegates. We need to encourage others to vote for him and his delegates. We need to be UNITED by our CORE BELIEFS. REMEMBER: It is a minority of the eligible voters who are selecting the Presidential candidates. WE NEED TO PARTICIPATE!!!

I have now received a questionnaire from one of the three Republican candidates for Congressional District 18, which is my Congressional district. The envelop was postmarked on January 10, 2008 which means it was probably sent before my post that night chastising candidates for not showing leadership. I debated with myself whether or not to post it because it was after my cutoff date. However, he did respond while the other two candidates did not and I think it is important for the voters in the district to read his answers. I am posting those answers tonight. I still will not be endorsing any candidate but the reader can draw their own conclusion on who was willing to respond and who was not.

If either or both of the other two candidates send a response I will post them, if I have time. My schedule at this moment is to again post my endorsement for President on Saturday, February 2 and to post the Congressional responses on Monday February 4. Therefore, to post both of the candidates I should receive them no later than January 31. This is my temporary schedule and subject to change. We will see if either of the other two candidates responds.

As I wrote before posting the responses of candidates Jason Wallace—11th district—and Steve Cox—15th district:

In mid-November, I mailed questionnaires to candidates for Congress from Congressional Districts—11, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19. I also sent the questionnaire to the Senatorial candidates for Illinois. None of the Senatorial candidates responded. None of the Congressional candidates from Congressional District 18, which is my District, responded until now although Jim McConoughey – R sent campaign literature. Two candidates from other Districts answered the questionnaire. I am posting the original questions and the answer given with any comments provided. Each question asked for a response that strongly agreed, agreed, was undecided, disagreed or strongly disagreed. To save space and time, I am only posting the answer—not all five choices—for each question. I am posting the responses and comments by the candidates without any comment from me.

Tonight’s Congressional candidate is John Morris Congressional candidate, 18th district—Republican Party. There is no incumbent in the 18th district and, at this point, there is no Democrat Party candidate for district 18.

1) As a Congressman, I will work diligently to overturn the Supreme Court decision of Roe vs. Wade that allows abortion.

His answer: Strongly agree

Comment: I will work to advance a pro-life agenda.

2) As a Congressman, I will work diligently to pass a Constitutional amendment to define marriage as being between one man and one woman. No other types of marriages or civil unions are acceptable.

His answer: Strongly agree

Comment: I believe that the institution of marriage is sacred and that it is between a man and a woman.

3) As a Congressman, I will work diligently to expand the Constitutional rights of practicing homosexuals since the equal protection clause rightly permits such activity.

His answer: Strongly disagree

Comment: The Constitution does not define homosexuals as a protected class.

4) Congress should provide a “path to citizenship” for people who are in this country illegally.

His Answer: Strongly disagree

Comment: We are a nation of laws. We should not reward illegal behavior.

5) “Strict constructionists” should be appointed to the Unites States Supreme Court and to the other lower federalist courts.

His Answer: Strongly agree

Comment: Judges should interpret the laws, not make them.

6) A “windfall profits” tax should be placed upon oil companies that benefit with unexpectantly high profits from the high price of oil.

His Answer: Strongly disagree

Comment: I oppose tax raises. Moreover, we should not penalize a business for its success.

7) The United States Constitution provides for a “wall of separation between church and State” as defined by the United States Supreme Court.

His Answer: Strongly disagree

Comment: The Constitution protects freedom of religion. It does not ban religion from public life.

8) As a Congressman, I will work diligently to end funding for our troops in Iraq and establish a timetable to withdraw United States armed forces.

His Answer: Strongly disagree

Comment: We need to finish the job and give our troops and generals the confidence they deserve. The best message to send to Iran is a firm victory in Iraq.

9) The United States Supreme Court was correct in establishing abortion for women as a Constitutional right.

His Answer: Strongly disagree

Comment: Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided and is an example of judicial activism. There is no such right in the Constitution.

10) As a Congressman, I will work diligently to establish term limits for all members of Congress.

His Answer: Disagree

Comment: The voters are the “term limits.”

11) As a Congressman, I will work diligently to pass a Constitutional amendment to redefine citizenship so that babies born in the United States to individuals who are not American citizens do not automatically become a citizen at birth.

His Answer: disagree

Comment: This is not the best way to address our immigration issues. We must first secure our borders—it’s a national security issue—and then look at other methods.

12) The United States government needs to more vigorously enforce the immigrant laws as presently written by Congress.

His Answer: Strongly agree.

Comment: We must secure our borders.

Mr. Morris added the following to the bottom of the questionnaire: “Thanks for asking us to participate: onward.”

(To the best of my ability, I posted each answer and the comments exactly as provided. I did no editing—my addition.)

Recently, I’ve been involved in a problem one of my clients has with Farmers Insurance Group. My previous posts in relation to this problem were:

Tonight, I’m posting a letter received from Farmers Insurance Group dated December 19, 2007 (dated five days after the letter dated December 14, 2007 and posted on my blog January 11, 2008). The latest letter from Farmers Insurance Group sent to my client not to me reads as follows:

December 19, 2007

~~~ and ~~~~~ ~~~~~~
(Address of policy holder given.)
Re: Policy Number:
Date of Loss: 08/10/2006
Claim:
Insured: ~~~~~~, ~~~ and ~~~~~
Dear Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~:
Thank you for your cooperation in presenting the above claim. Enclosed are two settlement checks. $161.85 for spoiled freezer food and replacement of an a/c adapter and $434.77 for completed repairs by Speedy Glass and >>> >>>>>>>. Worksheets are attached for your review.
You chose to replace your hot water tank although it was not damaged in the water loss. Therefore, we cannot reimburse you for Expert Plumbing’s invoice of $193.27 for installing new plumbing parts for the hot water tank. I did not see a receipt for the $25.84 expense to Naughton’s Plumbing. I called, and was informed they are a plumbing supply store. Please submit receipt that lists out what parts were purchased so I can review for reimbursement.
It is our goal to provide superior service to each of our customers. (Note that she is talking about superior service in relation to a claim that was filed in August of 2006 and that needed an outside source—me—to even get this paltry sum paid after one year, four months, and additional days of stalling. I would hate to hear her definition of poor service. It may be a goal; is it a fact?—my addition) If you do not understand any aspect of your claim after reviewing the following information, please feel free to contact me at (520) XXX-XXXX or (928) XXX-XXXX. (I will repeat what I wrote concerning the December 14, 2007 letter and phone calls—Here is my advice to anyone who is dealing with an insurance company on a claim: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER deal with them by phone or verbally in person. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. DON’T BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT IS NOT IN WRITING. Follow this motto: PAPER TRAIL, PAPER TRAIL, PAPER TRAIL!!! They can not be trusted to keep their word!!!—my addition)
Respectfully,
FARMERS INSURANCE COMPANY OF ARIZONA
>>> >>>>>>
Property Claims Representative
(As I also wrote in the earlier post—Farmers Insurance Group changed the claims representative that I had been dealing with in previous correspondence—my addition.)
The mailing also included two checks—one for $161.85 and one for $434.77. Further, the mailing included two worksheets. I am including the pertinent information from each worksheet.
1) CONTENTS LOSS WORKSHEET
Food, damaged when freezer unplugged, amount approved by >>> >>>>>, adjuster (This is a third individual from Farmers Insurance Group originally involved in the claim—my addition.) = $150.00.
Replaced a/c adapter = $11.85
COMMENTS: (left blank—my addition)
SUB-TOTAL = $161.85
DEDUCTIBLE (left blank—my addition)
TOTAL = $161.85
(These totals correspond to two claimed amounts—Replace A/C adapter and Food/freezer—on the list dated August 25, 2007 and posted on September 18, 2007. The totals agree with my client’s totals and this part of the claim has been taken care of satisfactorily although very late in the process.)
(At the bottom of the page the following was printed: “For your protection Arizona law requires the following statement to appear on this form. Any person who knowingly presents a false or fraudulent claim for payment of a loss is subject to criminal and civil penalties.”)
2) BUILDING LOSS WORKSHEET
Reimbursement for work completed by Speedy Glass—bathroom mirrors had to be cut in order for replaced cabinet to fit = $209.19
Completed repairs by >>> >>>>>>>—removal and reset of sinks, faucets, angle stops = $225.58
COMMENTS: (left blank—my addition)
SUB-TOTAL = $434.77
DEDUCTIBLE (left blank—my addition)
TOTAL = $434.77
(These totals correspond to two claimed amounts—1) Speedy Glass and 2) Removal and installation of water heater—on the list dated August 25, 2007 and posted on September 18, 2007. The total for Speedy Glass agrees with my client’s total and has been taken care of satisfactorily although very late in the process. The total for Removal and installation of water heater is $25.00 less than claimed by my client [A restatement: They are my client for the preparation of taxes. I am doing this for free—my addition] and therefore they are not yet satisfied with this amount. I don’t know if they are justified in thinking this or not since Farmers Insurance Group, at this point, has decided NOT to provide me with any information about the claim. See previous post.
The list submitted on August 25, 2007 was for a total of $13,049.09. So far, $596.62 has been satisfactorily resolved—4.57211% of the total unresolved claim. It is a start but a very slow start. Unfortunately, this seems to be typical of some insurance companies—provide a little satisfaction and stall the rest with the hope that the client will grow tired of the process and just give up and accept not receiving the total amount claimed.
I don’t intend to give up. One person described me as a “pit bull” which sinks his teeth into the leg of a person and refuses to let go. It was not meant as a compliment although I took it as such. We have only just begun the process and I don’t intend to let go)
(At the bottom of the page the following was printed: “For your protection Arizona law requires the following statement to appear on this form. Any person who knowingly presents a false or fraudulent claim for payment of a loss is subject to criminal and civil penalties.”)
Dear Ms. >>>>>>
I have been provided the letter you sent to Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~ which is dated December 14, 2007. You stated in the letter, “We are in receipt of the correspondence from Mr. Don Vance. In reviewing the file we have found that we have no documents showing that Mr. Vance is a legal representative for you. In addition our policy does not reflect that he is a named insured.”
It seems that the ability of your company to maintain adequate records matches your ability to serve your clients. On August 1, 2007, I sent the enclosed letter to Mr. >>>> >. >>>>>>>>—your company’s representative. He sent the enclosed letter to me “acknowledge(ing) receipt of your (my) letter dated August 01, 2007” and asking “Would it be possible for you (me) to provide an itemized list of what is not resolved and the dollar amounts associated with the items?” The requested information was sent.
It seems to me, that by sending the above mentioned letter and asking for me to provide the requested information, your company did, indeed, establish de facto recognition of me as the representative for Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~. However, if that was not the case, then Mr. >>>>>>>> should have stated the same. It is your company’s negligence that has resulted in this question of whether or not I represent Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~.
If your company still maintains that I do not represent Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~ then inform me what must be done to establish that right and it will be done. I can tell you that it is my intent not to allow any direct communication between your company and Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~. You have taken advantage of their lack of experience in dealing with insurance companies long enough. You have stalled for far too long. It is either deal with me or face other alternatives.
Your company has stalled long enough. The original claim was on August 10, 2006—one year, four months, and 24 days from today’s letter or a total of 511 days. As a former school board member from the Tucson area, our district built and occupied a brand new high school in less time than that. Your company’s inability to satisfactorily resolve this claim is despicable and unacceptable.
I will wait until January 17, 2008 for your company to either provide me the information requested, or pay Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~ in full, or tell me exactly what your company requires to accept me as Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~’s representative. As the saying goes, time is money and your company is wasting both Mr. and Mrs. ~~~~~~’s time and money. In the mean time, I will be contacting selected Congressmen as I said I would in the previous letter.
It is past time to resolve this claim!
Don L. Vance
For Mr. and Mrs. ~~~ ~~~~~~
Your letter and this response will be posted on my blog for the world to see as was all previous correspondence. You may not have a copy of the materials but the world does.
