Thank you! I did Google all three and they can all be retrieved with Google. In fact, the “Dangerous Radicals of the Religious Right” is posted tonight toward the end of the post. It is very good. I also like the slogan. Here is another such slogan that I like: “The unborn have rights and lefts and minds and bodies and souls.”
Wake-up America!!! Who ultimately is in control—GOD or man? Who determines right and wrong—GOD or man? Who controls the weather—GOD or man? Who determines righteousness and sin—GOD or man? Who controls our economy—GOD or man? Who defines good and evil—GOD or man? Who controls what happens to the United States of America—GOD or man?
As a Christian, I believe that there are three crucial issues in this Presidential election. The second most crucial issue in the campaign deals with the continual moral degradation of our society through sexual immorality which not only has been destroying individuals but also the family—GOD’S chosen instrument for procreation and the developmental growth of the children of society. In the 2008 election, that continued moral degradation is centered on homosexuality and allowing homosexuals to marry.
On the previous post, the following quote is attributed to Barack Hussein Obama: “‘I don’t think it [a same-sex union] should be called marriage, but I think that it is a legal right that they should have that is recognized by the state,’ Obama said. ‘If people find that controversial, then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount, which I think is, in my mind, for my faith, more central than an obscure passage in Romans.’”
The writer of the article in reference to the above quote made the following comment: “Never mind that the Sermon on the Mount does not contradict biblical teaching about marriage. In fact, in that Bible passage Jesus actually strengthens His instructions regarding marriage as a union between a man and a woman.”
What did Jesus say during his teaching which has become known as the Sermon on the Mount? First of all, Jesus made no reference whatsoever to homosexuality and he certainly did not link homosexuality to marriage or grant that homosexuals should be allowed to marry or have homosexual unions. In fact, nowhere in the Bible, that I am aware of, is homosexuality spoken of in a positive manner or even a neutral manner. In every instance, homosexuality is classified as SIN being identified as a perversion and detestable.
Specifically, the subheadings in Matthew (put there by the publishers, of course, not by the author of the text) for the Sermon on the Mount are as follows: “The Beatitudes,” “Salt and Light,” “The Fulfillment of the Law,” “Murder,” “Adultery,” “Divorce,” “Oaths,” “An Eye for an Eye,” “Love for Enemies,” “Giving to the Needy,” “Prayer,” “Fasting,” “Treasures in Heaven,” “Do Not Worry,” “Judging Others,” “Ask, Seek, Knock,” “The Narrow and the Wide Gates,” “A Tree and Its Fruit,” and “The Wise and Foolish Builders.” The only two subsections that come close to the subject matter is “Adultery” and “Divorce” and both of those sections clearly are in relation to a man and a woman. There is not a hint of an idea of condoning homosexuality. Barack Hussein Obama seems to delight in rewriting and reinterpreting Scripture to suit his own purposes and his own belief system.
Perhaps Barack Hussein Obama should pay closer attention to this section of the Sermon on the Mount. “‘Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7: 13-14 (NIV)
And perhaps we as Christians should in this election season pay very close attention to this section of the Sermon on the Mount: “‘Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them (Supporting the MURDER of innocent UNBORN babies and the SIN of homosexual behavior!!!—my addition). Matthew 7: 15 (NIV) “‘Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Is it the will of GOD that Christians support the MURDER of UNBORN babies and the SIN of homosexual behavior or that Christians support individuals who do support those SINS?—my addition). Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ (If someone supports SIN and others support those who support SIN, are they evildoers? Do they need to repent or be doomed to be cast outside by JESUS, the HOLY SPIRIT, and GOD? How does Barack Hussein Obama respond to these verses? Does he rewrite and reinterpret them as well as the others?—my addition) Matthew 7: 21-23 (NIV)
This is what Jesus has specifically said about marriage as given in the gospels with my comment from my May 20, 2008 post: “‘It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.’” Matthew 5: 31-32 (NIV)
“When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.

“‘The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of
the Law.
Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.’” Luke 16: 16-18 (NIV)
Matthew, Mark, and Luke all quote JESUS declaring the relationship to marriage and divorce. In each instance, JESUS refers to marriage as being between a man and a woman. HE even quotes Genesis 2: 24 concerning a man leaving his father and mother to become one flesh with his wife. Nowhere does HE sanction any other type of union. If the SON of GOD accepts only a union between a man and a woman and no other forms or variations, then we certainly do not have the right or the ability to do so. GOD made man and woman and therefore only GOD may decide how they will be united. It is extreme arrogance to believe that we know better than GOD.
In conclusion, it can not be denied that according to the Bible—the WORD of GOD—marriage is between one man and one woman period! This, according to GOD, is true from the beginning! This, according to GOD, is true during the time JESUS walked and taught on this earth! This, according to GOD, is true today! This, according to GOD, is true until JESUS—the SON of GOD—returns to call all to the Day of Judgment. (This last paragraph is from my May 21, 2008 post)
The following is a portion of my post on May 24, 2008 which deals with marriage as discussed by the apostle Paul: Immediately after Paul’s discussion of SEXUAL IMMORALITY in Chapter 5 and 6, he devotes most of chapter 7 to marriage. In relation to our topic of HOMOSEXUALITY, the significance of chapter 7 is the continuing references to marriage as a relationship between a man and a woman. Marriage is for a man and a woman to each other. No reference is made of any type of a relationship between a man and a man or a woman and a woman. This is understandable since in the previous two chapters Paul specifically declares that HOMOSEXUAL behavior is a SIN and those who are engaged in such acts will not inherit the kingdom of GOD. Paul would not nor should any Christian ever sanction a relationship of SIN.
As Paul states in I Corinthians 11: 8-9 (NIV), “For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.” Woman was created for man! Man was not created for man. Woman was not created for woman. Woman was created for man and they are joined together in marriage. No human society or practice can alter that fact. Marriage is between a man and a woman.
“Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church—for we are members of his body. ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and
be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians 5: 22-33 (NIV)
Paul quotes Genesis 2: 24 just as JESUS did. A man leaves his family and is united with his wife—male and female. Throughout this discourse, Paul refers to male and female in the marriage relationship. Male and female because that is the only union that GOD has ever established. Man can not change GOD’S plan without dire consequences. Every Christian should know that. Every Christian should support GOD’S plan for life; not man’s. GOD’S plan is marriage between a man and a woman. No other system is acceptable.
The following was my conclusion to my May 27, 2008 post: The only realistic, Christian conclusion that can be drawn from these numerous letters written by Paul is that HOMOSEXUAL behavior is a SIN and is condemned by GOD and JESUS HIS SON. HOMOSEXUAL behavior should be condemned by Christians. To encourage HOMOSEXUAL behavior is to encourage SIN! To accept HOMOSEXUAL behavior is to accept SIN! To grant marriage to HOMOSEXUALS is to encourage SIN and recognize SIN as being irrelevant to the issue of marriage.
The following is a portion of my post on May 29, 2008: “Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.” I Peter 3: 1-7 (NIV)
Peter, like Paul, when referring to marriage recognizes marriage as being between a man and a woman. He makes no other reference to any other type of union. If GOD, JESUS the SON of GOD, Paul, and Peter recognize only marriage between a man and a woman; why would Christians today try to change that which is established by GOD? We do not have the authority nor do we have the wisdom to try to alter GOD’S plan for marriage. Any attempt to change marriage is an earthly, human attempt to alter that which GOD has established. Any such attempt is contrary to GOD’S will!

In fact, in that Bible passage Jesus actually strengthens His instructions regarding marriage as a union between a man and a woman.”
What did Jesus say during his teaching which has become known as the Sermon on the Mount? First of all, Jesus made no reference whatsoever to homosexuality and he certainly did not link homosexuality to marriage or grant that homosexuals should be allowed to marry or have homosexual unions. In fact, nowhere in the Bible, that I am aware of, is homosexuality spoken of in a positive manner or even a neutral manner. In every instance, homosexuality is classified as SIN being identified as a perversion and detestable.
Specifically, the subheadings in Matthew (put there by the publishers, of course, not by the author of the text) for the Sermon on the Mount are as follows: “The Beatitudes,” “Salt and Light,” “The Fulfillment of the Law,” “Murder,” “Adultery,” “Divorce,” “Oaths,” “An Eye for an Eye,” “Love for Enemies,” “Giving to the Needy,” “Prayer,” “Fasting,” “Treasures in Heaven,” “Do Not Worry,” “Judging Others,” “Ask, Seek, Knock,” “The Narrow and the Wide Gates,” “A Tree and Its Fruit,” and “The Wise and Foolish Builders.” The only two subsections that come close to the subject matter is “Adultery” and “Divorce” and both of those sections clearly are in relation to a man and a woman. There is not a hint of an idea of condoning homosexuality. Barack Hussein Obama seems to delight in rewriting and reinterpreting Scripture to suit his own purposes and his own belief system.
Perhaps Barack Hussein Obama should pay closer attention to this section of the Sermon on the Mount. “‘Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7: 13-14 (NIV)
And perhaps we as Christians should in this election season pay very close attention to this section of the Sermon on the Mount: “‘Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them (Supporting the MURDER of innocent UNBORN babies and the SIN of homosexual behavior!!!—my addition). Matthew 7: 15 (NIV) “‘Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Is it the will of GOD that Christians support the MURDER of UNBORN babies and the SIN of homosexual behavior or that Christians support individuals who do support those SINS?—my addition). Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ (If someone supports SIN and others support those who support SIN, are they evildoers? Do they need to repent or be doomed to be cast outside by JESUS, the HOLY SPIRIT, and GOD? How does Barack Hussein Obama respond to these verses? Does he rewrite and reinterpret them as well as the others?—my addition) Matthew 7: 21-23 (NIV)
This is what Jesus has specifically said about marriage as given in the gospels with my comment from my May 20, 2008 post: “‘It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.’” Matthew 5: 31-32 (NIV)
“When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.

“‘The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of
the Law.
Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.’” Luke 16: 16-18 (NIV)
Matthew, Mark, and Luke all quote JESUS declaring the relationship to marriage and divorce. In each instance, JESUS refers to marriage as being between a man and a woman. HE even quotes Genesis 2: 24 concerning a man leaving his father and mother to become one flesh with his wife. Nowhere does HE sanction any other type of union. If the SON of GOD accepts only a union between a man and a woman and no other forms or variations, then we certainly do not have the right or the ability to do so. GOD made man and woman and therefore only GOD may decide how they will be united. It is extreme arrogance to believe that we know better than GOD.
In conclusion, it can not be denied that according to the Bible—the WORD of GOD—marriage is between one man and one woman period! This, according to GOD, is true from the beginning! This, according to GOD, is true during the time JESUS walked and taught on this earth! This, according to GOD, is true today! This, according to GOD, is true until JESUS—the SON of GOD—returns to call all to the Day of Judgment. (This last paragraph is from my May 21, 2008 post)
The following is a portion of my post on May 24, 2008 which deals with marriage as discussed by the apostle Paul: Immediately after Paul’s discussion of SEXUAL IMMORALITY in Chapter 5 and 6, he devotes most of chapter 7 to marriage. In relation to our topic of HOMOSEXUALITY, the significance of chapter 7 is the continuing references to marriage as a relationship between a man and a woman. Marriage is for a man and a woman to each other. No reference is made of any type of a relationship between a man and a man or a woman and a woman. This is understandable since in the previous two chapters Paul specifically declares that HOMOSEXUAL behavior is a SIN and those who are engaged in such acts will not inherit the kingdom of GOD. Paul would not nor should any Christian ever sanction a relationship of SIN.
As Paul states in I Corinthians 11: 8-9 (NIV), “For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.” Woman was created for man! Man was not created for man. Woman was not created for woman. Woman was created for man and they are joined together in marriage. No human society or practice can alter that fact. Marriage is between a man and a woman.
“Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church—for we are members of his body. ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and
be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians 5: 22-33 (NIV)
Paul quotes Genesis 2: 24 just as JESUS did. A man leaves his family and is united with his wife—male and female. Throughout this discourse, Paul refers to male and female in the marriage relationship. Male and female because that is the only union that GOD has ever established. Man can not change GOD’S plan without dire consequences. Every Christian should know that. Every Christian should support GOD’S plan for life; not man’s. GOD’S plan is marriage between a man and a woman. No other system is acceptable.
The following was my conclusion to my May 27, 2008 post: The only realistic, Christian conclusion that can be drawn from these numerous letters written by Paul is that HOMOSEXUAL behavior is a SIN and is condemned by GOD and JESUS HIS SON. HOMOSEXUAL behavior should be condemned by Christians. To encourage HOMOSEXUAL behavior is to encourage SIN! To accept HOMOSEXUAL behavior is to accept SIN! To grant marriage to HOMOSEXUALS is to encourage SIN and recognize SIN as being irrelevant to the issue of marriage.

Peter, like Paul, when referring to marriage recognizes marriage as being between a man and a woman. He makes no other reference to any other type of union. If GOD, JESUS the SON of GOD, Paul, and Peter recognize only marriage between a man and a woman; why would Christians today try to change that which is established by GOD? We do not have the authority nor do we have the wisdom to try to alter GOD’S plan for marriage. Any attempt to change marriage is an earthly, human attempt to alter that which GOD has established. Any such attempt is contrary to GOD’S will!
