The above video is from C-Span 2 which means the statements occurred on the floor of the Senate. The year is either 2005 or 2006 when the Republicans controlled the Senate. The debate is about a Constitutional Amendment to define marriage as being between one man and one woman. The Amendment would have passed in the Senate if some RINO Republicans like John McCain had not voted against it. As a result, we now have the Supreme Court considering if homosexuals somehow have the “right” to have faux “marriage!”

“Abortion provider Planned Parenthood is out for blood.

Being discredited time and time again hasn’t stopped taxpayer-funded Planned Parenthood from spending millions of dollars to elect pro-abortion candidates to Congress, the office of the President, and even as State Governors.

This year they have set their sights to destroy pro-life Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, who is running for Governor in this year’s election in Virginia.

Concerned Women Political Action Committee (CWPAC) is pleased to announce our very first endorsement of this election cycle: Ken Cuccinelli for Governor. I am supporting him personally, and I hope you will too.

https://cwpac.ejoinme.org/MyPages/SpecialMemberContributionPageCuccinelli/tabid/462724/Default.aspx

Planned Parenthood has every reason to be concerned with Governor Ken Cuccinelli.

Ken has been unafraid of talking about his strong pro-life views.

Of course, he doesn’t just talk the talk, either.

1) He has worked tirelessly to restrict abortion in the Commonwealth of Virginia by fighting for regulations that would make abortion clinics adhere to the same rules as hospitals and other medical institutions.

2) He fought to provide anesthesia for unborn children being aborted, a bill that was rejected by abortion providers because they didn’t want to admit that these precious children being killed indeed feel pain.

3) He received endorsements from virtually every pro-life organization in Virginia, and elsewhere, as a testimony of his strong efforts on behalf of the unborn and their mothers.

But Ken’s record on life isn’t the only reason liberals hate him and will do everything they can to stop him. Ken’s strong pro-family stand has also earned him their ire.

4) In 2004, Cuccinelli dared to state publicly that ‘homosexuality is wrong.’

5) During his 2009 campaign for Virginia Attorney General, he stated: ‘My view is that homosexual acts, not homosexuality, but homosexual acts are wrong. They’re intrinsically wrong. And I think in a natural law based country it’s appropriate to have policies that reflect that. ... They don’t comport with natural law. I happen to think that it represents (to put it politely; I need my thesaurus to be polite) behavior that is not healthy to an individual and in aggregate is not healthy to society (Of course this is true! It would be aduhstatement if not for the aberrant power of the homosexual lobby!—my addition).’

6) He also fought Virginia colleges and universities to keep them from including ‘sexual orientation,’ ‘gender identity,’ and ‘gender expression’ as protected classes within their nondiscrimination policies (Good for him! No wonder he is disliked by the immoral set!—my addition).

Ken Cuccinelli has even taken a stand against the large tax increase that his own party put forward in the last few months.

It’s no wonder that virtually every liberal organization is targeting Ken this year.

And that is why I am supporting Ken so early - and hoping you will, too.

Each dollar we raise for Ken now will allow him to better defend himself from attacks by his opponent, Clinton-era crony and fundraiser, Terry McAuliffe, and every left-wing organization in the country.

Ken Cuccinelli is pro-life. Terry McAuliffe is in favor of abortion (MURDER of the unborn!—my addition).

Ken is pro-family and supports marriage between only a man and a woman. Terry McAuliffe has endorsed same-sex marriage publicly on numerous occasions.

Ken Cuccinelli was willing to criticize a tax increase by a Governor from his own party. Terry McAuliffe has praised that tax increase as the right thing to do.

Concerned Women PAC is endorsing Ken Cuccinelli because he isn’t just good for Virginia, he’s good for America.

Will you join me in supporting Ken by donating to his campaign?

Your contribution in the amount of $25, $50, $100, or even more will be "bundled" in an envelope with contributions from hundreds of other strong pro-life conservatives and sent to Ken to help him with his campaign.

This is the only election in 2013, so you can bet liberal groups will be out in full force. Planned Parenthood has made this race their top priority.

I am hoping it will be your top priority as well.

Please do all you can to help Ken today.

Sincerely,

Penny Nance
Chief Executive Officer and President

P.S. Planned Parenthood has put a target on the back of Ken Cuccinelli as he is running for Virginia Governor in 2013. Will you help him today?

https://cwpac.ejoinme.org/MyPages/SpecialMemberContributionPageCuccinelli/tabid/462724/Default.aspx

Will you also consider a very timely contribution to CWPAC to help us continue our efforts to bring you strong conservative candidates?”

Note: The Republican Governor is term limited and can not run again.

From: http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/23/terry-mcauliffe-called-anti-woman-for-opposing-abortion-health-rules/

“Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe opposes new rules the state has instituted to protect the health and safety of women injured by abortions and that opposition has earned him criticism from a women’s group.

Today, Women Speak Out Virginia, a connected PAC of the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List, announced a $50,000 radio ad buy targeting him for his opposition to common ground abortion center health and safety standards.

Last year, the Virginia Health Commissioner reported to the Board of Health that more than 80 violations were discovered in abortion centers across the Commonwealth.

The ad will run on Adult and Soft Contemporary and Newstalk stations in the Northern Virginia, Richmond and Norfolk media markets for two weeks.

‘In light of Kermit Gosnell’s ‘house of horrors,’ it is an outrage that anyone who purports to care about women would oppose efforts to ensure that Virginia women are treated with basic dignity and respect. More than 80 violations have been discovered in Virginia abortion clinics including blood-stained equipment and operating tables, improper disposal of fetal remains, staff failure to properly sanitize instruments, and even doctors performing exams with unwashed hands,’ said Mallory Quigley, spokesperson for Women For Ken (Cuccinelli).

She added: ‘Despite evidence that these common ground health and safety standards are needed, Terry McAuliffe refuses to defect from his abortion industry allies, who have vigorously fought these pro-woman efforts from the beginning. The Women Speak Out Virginia PAC will be calling out Terry McAuliffe’s shameful opposition to protecting Virginia’s women until Election Day.’

A partial script of the radio ad follows:

'In the race for Governor … there’s one candidate who has taken extreme positions far outside the mainstream … one candidate whose radical ideas are troubling to every woman in Virginia.

It’s Terry McAuliffe.

Just this month Terry McAuliffe opposed basic health and safety standards for some women’s health clinics that perform abortions.

McAuliffe refuses to require women’s health clinics to provide the same sanitary environment we expect of dental offices and hospitals.

McAuliffe is bowing to the political pressure from powerful corporations that run women’s health clinics.'

Last month, McAuliffe’s campaign was asked by the Washington Post to confirm or deny his stance on abortion as being one of supporting ‘a platform of abortion on-demand at any time, for any reason, paid for by Virginia taxpayers,’ including ‘sex-selective abortion, late-term abortion, partial-birth abortion, and abortions on teenage girls without parental consent—all paid for by Virginia taxpayers.’ McAuliffe spokesman Josh Schwerin declined to comment to the Post (No denial!—my addition) .”
