The Fall Campaign for 40 Days for Life is kicking off today, Wednesday, September 25th! If you have never heard of 40 Days for Life and what they do, now is your chance to get involved in one of the most impactful community efforts to end abortion our nation has ever seen.

40 Days for Life has three main components: prayer and fasting, constant vigil, and community outreach. This Wednesday, the constant vigil will begin with 40 days of 24/7 peaceful prayer in front of abortion facilities. Campaigns will take place in 306 cities across the nation, and many of those campaigns still need some help to cover all of their time slots! If you are interested in participating in your local 40 Days for Life campaign find locations by clicking here. If there is no campaign in your area consider starting one. There are many students who participate in 40 Days for Life campaigns across the country, and even a few students who have stepped forward to be a Campaign Director (Our church participated for the first time last year. It is well worth it!—my addition)!

Since 2007, when the first campaign was conducted 7,536 lives have been saved, 83 abortion facility workers have quit, and 44 abortion facilities have closed through the faithful vigil of 40 Days for Life (My use of red—my addition). So, please consider joining these efforts this fall by giving an hour or more of your week for the next 40 days to be a loving witness for life outside of your local abortion facility. The House of Representatives has voted to defund Obamacare. Pray for a positive vote to defund in the United States Senate! We, for the moment, concentrate on the Senate! If the President wants to shut down the government to save this terrible law, so be it!

Contact your Senators by phone at the district offices and the Washington D.C. office, by e-mail, by all means at your disposal! Remind them of the obvious:

1) Obamacare is immoral!

2) Obamacare is illegal!

3) Obamacare is unconstitutional!

4) the American people do NOT want Obamacare implemented!

5) If you vote for Obamacare funding, YOU OWN Obamacare!
