Chelsea Clinton announced last week that she is expecting her first child with her husband Marc.

While the majority of reactions to this news were positive, ABC took things to a whole other level when Good Morning America host Bianna Golodryga proclaimed that Americans now get to look forward to the birth of ‘their own royal, or, rather, presidential baby.’

CBS had similar rhetoric, although stopped short of equating the birth of Bill and Hillary’s first grandchild with the birth of the future King of England. Prince George of Cambridge is third in line to the throne and will become king following the death or abdication of his father, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.

Chelsea Clinton’s baby, despite having a former U.S. president and Secretary of State as grandparents, is not assured of any kind of power.

By comparison, George Bush’s daughter Jenna Bush Hager’s pregnancy announcement was widely ignored by the mainstream media, despite also belonging to a family political dynasty.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Marc Mezvinsky. They recently announced that they are going to have a baby. 

Now, if you don’t recognize the name it is because the news outlets did not announce the blessed event in the above manner. Rather, the media outlets announced that Chelsea Clinton—the only known, acknowledged child of former President Bill Clinton—is going to have a baby. Same announcement, a different reaction if announced as above.

Babies are certainly precious and I am happy for them. However, I wonder, what if three months down the road, they are informed that their precious baby has a severe abnormality and will die soon after birth and will need twenty-four hour around the clock care until his/her death. What will be the reaction of the news outlets?

Will the news media announce that Mr. and Mrs. Mezvinsky, after close consultation with respected doctors, have decided to medically terminate the fetus infection that has developed? Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as Mr. and Mrs. Mezvinsky go through these medically difficult times. Or, will they declare that Chelsea Clinton has decide to murder her baby because the baby isn’t perfect? Or perhaps, that the parents will continue through the birthing process, deliver the baby, and spend every second they can with their first child until and if the baby dies as predicted? 

Just wondering.

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.
