Open enrollment for ObamaCare is right around the corner (You mean the unconstitutional takeover of an entire industry?—my addition). With a November 15th start date, Americans deserve to know whether the plans they’re considering on the insurance exchanges cover elective abortion and if so, how much they’re paying for the abortion coverage, and how the abortion surcharge will be billed (Or, have all plans not pay anything for the MURDER of unborn babies!—my addition).
FRC wrote about this debacle in the past with regard to the exchanges and plans offered in D.C. and Maryland. We discovered that it was very difficult to obtain accurate information (What is new?—my addition). Finding a pro-life plan should not be this daunting (Unless of course there are none!—my addition). Our investigation has revealed that insurance representatives on exchanges in various states have given information that is inaccurate and inconsistent. For example, in Colorado, representatives from ColoradoHealthOp have suggested that some of their plans cover elective abortions, while their online plan resources for those same plans clearly state that they do not cover elective abortion (Which is it, of course, is the problem! Who do you believe? Who do you trust?—my addition).
In another instance, two different representatives from Humana vouched that none of their plans cover elective abortion, but according to the plan details, they all do. Many states don’t even provide plan information on their websites. Some representatives from Sharp Health Plan in California and Group Health in Washington, have told us that they could not answer questions since we were not members, but how is one to make a decision about becoming a member before knowing the plan details (Minor detail? That is Obamacare! One “minor detail” after another!—my addition)?
Even when plan details are written out, it is not often clear if the plans cover elective abortions. Written plan details such as ‘interruption of pregnancy,’ ‘pregnancy termination included,’ or ‘abortion services’ do not specify if that’s in reference to elective abortions. Such was the case with various companies in California, Hawaii, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
When asked specifically the ObamaCare secrecy clause, which requires a person who signs up for a plan that covers elective abortions to pay at least $12 per year, representatives either had no idea about it, told us about deductible costs, or one even referred us to Planned Parenthood to see how much they charge for an abortion. Finding accurate information has proven to be nearly impossible (It is a government program that is unworkable and unconstitutional! Nothing less is to be expected!—my addition). Congress must pass Representative Chris Smith’s (R-New Jersey) Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2013 to ensure that Americans get clear answers about abortion coverage when they purchase healthcare plans on the ObamaCare exchanges (Getting clear answers is probably an impossibility!—my addition).”
There are two other possibilities than are better for the American people. One is to repeal Obamacare. That probably can not happen during the President’s term unless he is impeached. The second is one of my four main goals if elected to the House of Representatives in November. That is cutting funding to all programs and organizations that directly or indirectly fund or are involved in the murder of unborn/preborn children.

After losing a 1988 election because I was pro-life even though I did not campaign on the issue, I promised that, if I ever ran for office again, I would center my campaign on being pro-life without exception. Any government which sanctions the murder of an unborn/preborn child by his/her mother or anyone else is an immoral, barbaric, evil government.
Scientifically, biologically, there is no debate on the question of when human life begins. Life begin at conception/fertilization. Before conception/fertilization, it is impossible to have human life. After conception/fertilization, if there is no outside interference, a human life goes through all the stages of life until the death of the human body. That is true 100% of the time. The created life is also never the father and never the mother. The new life has its own DNA from the beginning. That is indisputable and scientifically correct.
No one has the right to murder another human being—not the father, not the mother, not the government. As our own Declaration of Independence declares “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” If life begins at conception/fertilization and it does, then every unborn/preborn person has the GOD-given right to life. Every unborn/preborn person! Regardless of the circumstance of the conception/fertilization, regardless of the perceived mental and/or physical makeup of that specific individual. To make exceptions is to incorrectly argue that some individuals are less human than other individuals. Who has the right to make that determination? No one!
The federal government through an unconstitutional, illegal Supreme Court decision has immorally determined that mothers have a “legal right” to murder their own unborn/preborn children. I believe, I pray, that this atrocious, unscientific, and immoral edict from the federal government will soon end. Until then, Congress has the duty and the responsibility to prevent as many murders as possible.
Every year Congress allocates millions of dollars to organizations within the United States that directly and/or indirectly are responsible for the murder of thousands of unborn/preborn babies. In so doing, they are forcing every citizen to be an unwilling participant in the immoral murdering of our own citizens. Further, government collected money is going to similar organizations throughout the world including the United Nations, which has the unmitigated gall to claim that murdering one’s own child through abortion is a human right.
Therefore, I pledge to the voters of Congressional District 19, that I will work to remove all federal money from all federal and international programs that support either directly or indirectly any abortion providing or supporting organization such as Planned Parenthood. From Obamacare, to international parenting organizations, to the United Nations; no money to any group that is directly or indirectly involved in the murder of unborn/preborn children.
Stop the MURDER of unborn children!
