According to ABC radio news, President Obama has decided not to take action on amnesty for illegal aliens (“immigration reform” in Left euphemism) until after the 2014 election. Of course, the reason he decided to wait was because some Democrat Senators up for reelection this year are scared silly that they will lose the election if MORE amnesty is implemented before the election. They think the American voter is TOO STUPID to realize there is no difference whether an illegal act is implemented before or after an election. That 40% of unborn babies in New York City die in abortions is not enough (40%! 4 in 10 MURDERED in the womb!—my addition), so Planned Parenthood is opening another abortion clinic in Queens. Queens is the only borough without a Planned Parenthood facility, so the nation’s largest abortion business is remedying that ‘problem (Of course! The more the better?—my addition).’

Here’s more on the abortion clinic that will be completed next year:

‘Planned Parenthood will break ground on its first Queens outpost Thursday, officials said.

The 14,000-square-foot facility in Long Island City will offer testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, as well as pregnancy tests and abortions.

‘People think, ‘Ooh, it’s New York City,’ but we have protesters regularly (GOOD! They should have them!—my addition),’ she said.

‘We are prepared to face some sort of opposition.’’

The new abortion clinic comes as abortions in New York City are finally dropping slightly. As LifeNews reported earlier this year:

Last week, the New York City Health Department reported tremendous progress on both scores for 2012. The number of abortions declined to 73,815 while the abortion rate dropped precipitously—from 42.2/1,000 women aged 15-49 in 2011 to 33.4./1,000 in 2012 (Did the number of pregnancies also decline?—my addition).

Long term (as the New York Post reported) that means the abortion rate; has fallen 19 percent since 2003 and 22 percent since 2000, according to the analysis’ from the Health Department.

Posting on the Facebook account of New York State Right to Life, Barbara Meara, who is chairman, explained that there were numerous reasons for the city’s dropping abortion rate, including ‘the publicity and the education we’ve done on the Women’s Equality Act,’ pro-abortion Governor Andrew Cuomo’s radical proposal to permit late abortions performed outside hospital settings, and allow non-physicians to perform abortions (among other provisions).

For all the happiness about the trend downward, unfortunately that doesn’t change that the number of abortions in New York City are incredibly high and concentrated in minority neighborhoods.

‘The racial-ethnic breakdown shows the abortion rate was 61 percent among black women, 35 percent among Hispanics and about 14 percent among whites and Asians,’ reported Carl Campanile.”
