According to ABC radio news, President Obama has decided not to take action on amnesty for illegal aliens (“immigration reform” in Left euphemism) until after the 2014 election. Of course, the reason he decided to wait was because some Democrat Senators up for reelection this year are scared silly that they will lose the election if MORE amnesty is implemented before the election. They think the American voter is TOO STUPID to realize there is no difference whether an illegal act is implemented before or after an election. It is still an illegal act that will do great harm to America!

Millions of pro-life advocates will line the streets of hundreds of communities across America on Sunday (October 5th—my addition) braving cold winds or heat and humidity to tell their neighbors an important message. The annual LifeChain is an opportunity to let people know that abortion kills (MURDERS!—my addition) children and hurts women.

Demonstrators will pray and stand silently as cars pass through the busy intersections. Some honk and wave in support of the pro-life message while others give participants rude gestures (From my experience it is about 10-1 honk and wave!—my addition).

National Life Chain Sunday, on October 5, will again occupy U.S. and Canadian sidewalks to provide a ‘visible voice’ for preborn children threatened by the surgical abortionists’ cruel instruments or by the deadly chemicals in abortion drugs, organizers tell LifeNews. The poignant messages for Life Chain’s 27th year of public witness will include Abortion Kills Children, Adoption the Loving Option, and Jesus Forgives and Heals.

The location and time of the 1550 cities and towns participating will be posted at www.LifeChain.net.

Royce Dunn, the national LifeChain organizer, tells LifeNews that the LifeChain is ‘an ecumenical prayer ministry rightly described as an afternoon extension of Sunday morning worship.’

Sharron Albertson, coordinator of LifeChain, agrees and said there are more than 1,900 locations across the United States and Canada where LifeChains will be held this year.

‘They will pray silently and hold professionally-printed signs provided at the site (My use of red—my addition),’ she told LifeNews. ‘They will peacefully show solidarity in the Christian community for the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. They will stand in honor of the 56 million lives who have been lost to abortion.’

‘Every year young women report deciding not to have an abortion after reading the signs and seeing the people praying,’ Albertson said. ‘Students understand that a third of their generation has disappeared and convince their friends not to kill their baby. People become aware of the need to pray for others in crisis situations and step into volunteer pro-life positions.’

Does the event work to change hearts and minds?

Albertson said a lady came to the Life Chain in Savanah, Georgia and said, ‘Ten years ago, I was driving by the Life Chain and decided not to have an abortion.’ She pointed to her daughter and said, ‘This is who I would have aborted.’”

Every life saved is a victory!
