IMMIGRATION REFORM PETITION

To the members of the United States Congress

The major difference between the immigration reform bills passed by the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate is that the Senate bill provides a method for illegal immigrants to become United States citizens.  I do not believe that any illegal immigrant should be rewarded for knowingly and deliberately violating our laws.

If an individual invades my home and stays there for five years, I will not reward him for his illegal action by giving him part ownership in my home.  The government should not reward individuals who illegally invade our nation with citizenship.  It is more likely to increase illegal entrances than decrease them.  It is also an abdication of the government’s moral responsibility to enforce our current laws.

GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT REWARD ILLEGAL ACTS!

To allow illegal immigrants to gain citizenship demonstrates that:

COMMON SENSE IS NO LONGER COMMON IN WASHINGTON!
