I began my first two posts of this series with the following comments: “The following article is from World magazine which is the only weekly magazine that I read regularly. Because of the work I had been doing for my clients, I have fallen behind (once again) on my reading. I had just finished reading this article the other day. I was going to do material on Mr. Obama and after reading the article decided this was a good time to do just that. The two previous posts—Seven things GOD hates and MURDER on a MASSIVE SCALE—were preludes to this series.
Tonight’s post goes back to the 2004 Senate election when Barack Obama was first elected to the United States Senate. I had just moved to Illinois early in June of that year. I wrote the following “letter to the editor” which was NOT published in my local newspaper—the Peoria Journal Star.
“October 22, 2004
Letter to the Editor:
This is a direct quote from Barack Obama’s website, “Barack Obama hobnobbed with comic Robin Williams and musician Stevie Wonder at the home of Playboy CEO Christi Hefner during a $2,500-a-plate fundraiser catered by Wolfgang Puck.” Do not let the media determine your vote.
Check out Alan Keyes at www.keyes2004.com. He gives his position on thirty one issues. Check out Barack Obama at www.obamaforillinois.com. He gives his position on seven issues. He does not discuss the murder of unborn children, homosexual marriage, religious freedom, or his position on the appointment of members to the Supreme Court.
Any farmer can affirm this is true, ‘Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.’ Galatians 5: 7 (NIV) Be careful what you sow on Election Day.”
Alan Keyes was dead in the water in this election since the Republican Party’s original candidate withdrew from the election and Keyes came from out of State to run as the candidate. However, it was Alan Keyes who ran a faith based campaign not Barack Obama.
Do you think that when Barack Obama was hobnobbing “with comic Robin Williams and musician Stevie Wonder at the home of Playboy CEO Christi Hefner during a $2,500-a-plate fundraiser” that he was also teaching and preaching the gospel of CHRIST? If so, why didn’t the web-site mention that fact? Playboy’s founder proclaims that he was a major architect in promoting the MURDER of unborn babies. I guess it was only natural for the campaigning Barack Obama, who politically has always supported the MURDER of unborn babies, to be hobnobbing with the daughter of the man who also trumpeted his support for the MURDER of unborn babies.
The following short article was printed in Parade magazine on July 1, 2007, page 2.
“Q. Can you tell me about Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner’s main squeeze?”
“A. Holly, 27—best known for the E! reality series The Girls Next Door—comes from tiny Craig, Alaska. She moved into the Playboy Mansion in 2001 and soon moved into Hef’s bedroom as his ‘No. 1 Girl.’ His other two—Kendra Wilkinson, 22, and Bridget Marquardt, 33—have bedrooms nearby.”
Under a picture of Ms. Madison and Mr. Hefner was the following caption: “Holly and Hef: At 81, he still can juggle three girls.”
Perhaps Senator Obama was not very successful at preaching and teaching the gospel of CHRIST in the short time he was hobnobbing with Playboy’s CEO.
