Based upon past historical data: 3,287+ UNBORN BABY MURDERS have occurred in the last 24 hours in the United States. See my post “BABY HOLOCAUST” posted January 22, 2008.

I will not be continuing my Creationism posts at this time. I do not plan to get to them until sometime later this year. I do plan to discuss Iraq but not until later this year. I am sorry for the change in plans. Plans, in reality, often are altered for one reason or another. “The best laid plans … often go astray.” Thank you for your understanding and patience.

How many unborn toddlers were murdered today because of the humanistic, paganish, barbaric decisions of the United States Supreme Court?

I don’t have time to write and post a blog tonight. However, I wanted to write this while it was fresh in my mind. Consequently, I’m taking the time.

I try to run/jog six days a week—I don’t always accomplish that goal particularly in the cold of winter in Illinois. (It was a lot easier while living in Tucson.) Because of bad knees (I would advise against running on concrete sidewalks for years as I used to do.) and the measured distance, I try to run/jog at our local high school’s track which is within walking distance from where I am living. Since track practice has begun, I have been running between 4:30 pm when practice has normally ended and 5:30 when the local news I watch begins. (I have analog still and only one local news still broadcasts in analog.)

For some reason on Tuesday afternoon, the track was still being used by dozens of people. Since I try not to interfere with school activities, I decided to walk to one of the grade schools and jog around the inside of the sidewalks that are on the west side of the building. This area has open ground with some play equipment along the edges—two small basketball courts on one corner, grade school play equipment at another corner, a small table with benches and a small amount of play equipment at a third corner. It only takes a couple of minutes to circle the area so I was using my stop watch to jog for a predetermined amount of time.

While I was jogging about seven boys trickled into the area with the small table and small amount of play equipment. It seems they had come to play some pickup football. It seems a couple of them walked, a few rode bikes to the area, and at least one had Mom drop him off with the family car—none seemed old enough to drive.

Some were at the table, some on the equipment. While they talked, the obscenities seemed to flow easily and naturally with the conversation. Obviously, they weren’t concerned with Jesus’ admonition about our speech. “‘But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.’” Matthew 12: 36-37 (NIV) (Yes, I know that they aren’t yet men. However, the habits learned in one’s youth often are carried over into one’s adult life. It seems rather evident that their parents, if they know about their language, have not been successful in changing it.)

One other thing that stood out. Of these seven or so boys who had come to the school to play a pickup game of football, it seems that none of them had thought to actually bring a football. Consequently, no football resulted in no pickup football game. Is this our hope for the future?

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)
