It was good that over two million red envelopes were sent to the President in protest against the MURDER of unborn children. However, in the Peoria area the event was not even covered by the media as far as I know. If this is the end of the protest, there will likely not be any long term impact. In my opinion, to have any long term impact, this MUST be an ongoing and growing project. We can NOT be content with the present result. We MUST demonstrate the persistence that JESUS, our LORD, values in his people.

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should ALWAYS PRAY and NOT GIVE UP. (My capitalization—my addition.) He said ‘In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. (Sound familiar?—my addition) And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ (Unborn children can NOT seek justice for themselves. They MUST rely upon us to seek justice for them—my addition.)

For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!’

And the Lord said, ‘Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes will he find faith on the earth?’” Luke 18: 1-8 (NIV)

The impact of the red envelopes will be greater if they arrive at designated times rather than trickling in over days and days. Therefore designate three times a year for mass mailings to the President—three because every unborn child has a body, soul, and spirit just as we do. The proposed three times a year should be:

1) April 1 (changing the first date from March 31st to April the 1st.)

Why April 1st? Because it is recognized as April Fools Day. I posted the following blog on Saturday, February 7, 2009—“Florida Court sets atheist holy day!” That “atheist holy day” was April 1st because “The judge said, ‘The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14: 1 states, ‘The fool says in his heart, there is no God.’ Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned.’” “This is a foot note on page 462 of my Bible: ‘The Hebrew words rendered fool in Psalms (also in Proverbs—footnote on page 536) denote one who is morally deficient.’ (NIV)” By definition, anyone who supports, condones, or MURDERS an unborn child must be morally deficient in GOD’S sight. “You shall not murder.” Deuteronomy 5: 17 (NIV)

2) July 3

July 4th is the day we celebrate our independence—an independence that is based upon life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” (Declaration of Independence, ©1776.) Every abortion (MURDER of an unborn baby) ends a life. NOT a potential life, but a life as determined by GOD when he created man and woman and when he determined the process through which life would be perpetuated through conception. “You shall not murder.” Deuteronomy 5: 17 (NIV)

3) November 19 (This year. The actual date should be one week before Thanksgiving.)

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for the gifts GOD has given us and has given mankind. One of those most precious gifts is the gift to create new life. Yet, we have become so morally depraved that we would rather allow the MURDER of that new life than give thanks for such a blessing. We MUST return to the attitude that children are a blessing and not a curse! “After this his wife Elizabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion. ‘The Lord has done this for me,’ she said. ‘In these days he has shown his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.’” Luke 1: 24-25 (NIV) “You shall not murder.” Deuteronomy 5: 17 (NIV)

On the back, write the following message:

‘This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion. It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be part of our world. LIFE begins at conception.’”

Put it in the mail and send it on each of these three dates, each and every year until the obscene practice of MURDERING our own unborn children is ended. Send this information to every one of your friends who you think would send one too. Let us reach the point where we send 50 million red envelopes (and beyond that number)—one for every child who has been MURDERED before having a chance to live. Maybe it will change the heart of the nation as a collective whole.

Certainly, this is not the only thing we should do. It is one approach which is easy to achieve if we are persistent in doing GOD’S will. Continue to have FAITH. Continue to PRAY. Continue to LOVE. Continue to be OBEDIENT to GOD—not to man. Continue to SERVE. DO NOT GIVE UP!!! The VICTORY has already been won through CHRIST JESUS our LORD!
