Global Warming Deception
UPDATE on “Cash for Clunkers” Senate vote: I heard on the radio news Thursday evening that the Senate UNWISELY but not unexpectedly passed the extension for this “selected giveaway” program. The vote was 60-38. I will try to find the names of the Senate spendthrifts who gave away our money and post them for the entire world to see. When do the rest of us get our $3,500-$4,500 financial payoff to buy our goods and services? I won’t even go into debt to purchase them!
The following was received from http://www.climatdepot.com/ dealing with the “Cap and Trade” bill and “Al Gore’s Global Warming.” The question is: HOW BIG of a SUCKER is this nation collectively! Can you really FOOL ALL of the PEOPLE ALL of the TIME? Does this Congress think they can?

Below is a reprint of a July 1, 2009 Open Letter to Congress by a team of prominent atmospheric scientists. (Did you watch and/or read about this open letter in your local news. I DID NOT!—my addition)
To the Congress of the United States: you are being Deceived about global warming
You have recently received an Open Letter from the Woods Hole Research Center, exhorting you to act quickly to avoid global disaster. The letter purports to be from independent scientists, but that Center is the former den of the President’s science advisor, John Holdren, and is far from independent. This is the same science advisor who has given us predictions of ‘almost certain’ thermonuclear war or eco-catastrophe by the year 2000, and many other forecasts of doom that somehow never seem to arrive on time.
The facts are:
The sky is not falling; the Earth has been cooling for ten years, without help. The present cooling was NOT predicted by the alarmists’ computer models, and has come as an embarrassment to them.
The finest meteorologists in the world cannot predict the weather two weeks in advance, let alone the climate for the rest of the century. (Exactly what I have been saying!—my addition) Can Al Gore? (NO!—my addition) Can John Holdren? (NO!—my addition) We are flooded with claims that the evidence is clear, that the debate is closed, that we must act immediately (There seems to a compulsive drive to always act immediately doesn’t there? Why is that? Could it be that they don’t want the TRUTH to get in the way of their agenda?—my addition), etc, but in fact
THERE IS NO SUCH EVIDENCE; IT DOESN’T EXIST.
The proposed legislation would cripple the US economy, putting us at a disadvantage compared to our competitors. For such drastic action, it is only prudent to demand genuine proof that it is needed, not just computer projections, and not false claims about the state of the science.
SCIENCE IS GUIDED BY PROOF, NOT CONSENSUS
Finally, climate alarmism pays well. Alarmists are rolling in wealth from the billions of dollars floating around for the taking, and being taken. It is always instructive to follow the money. (Just as I said in my “Cash for Clunkers” post of August 6, 2009! Do you think the Senate will listen since the House DID NOT!—my addition)

This is what the Bible says about our climate: “Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: ‘Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.’” Genesis 8: 20-22 (NIV)
As I’ve said before, no human can accurately predict what the weather is going to be like 50 years from today. We have difficulty predicting with 100% accuracy what the weather is going to be like seven days from now. This I do know. If GOD wants global warming as predicted by the “Al Gore gang” to occur, there is NOTHING man can do to stop it. If GOD doesn’t want global warming to occur, it won’t, no matter what man does. Of course, God could always let man proceed as they choose without HIS hand in it either way. I don’t know what will occur 50 years from now and NEITHER DOES any other human on this planet!
This I also know. If I were living a life of SIN, I’d be more concerned about what GOD will do today and tomorrow or what will happen to me after my death (none of us has a guarantee that we will live another fifty years) than what is going to occur in another 50 years!!!
