House of Representatives—what the Republicans in the House must do to TAKE BACK the NATION, part 2
On my January 3, 2011 post I wrote the following: “I wrote during the 2008 election (and even before that election) that the three most important political issues were:
1) Stopping the MURDER of unborn babies.
2) Stopping the homosexual agenda and reversing the ridiculous concept that a particular sinful, immoral behavior—homosexual behavior—was somehow a “civil right” to be protected by governments.
3) Stopping an out of control federal judiciary from rewriting the U.S. Constitution through judicial fiat.
The major problem with the American society and our governments is that we have and are continuing to disregard GOD’S will and GOD established values and morality. We have insanely substituted our humanist, immoral, sinful desires as we seek instant human gratification instead pleasing the CREATOR of the universe. Of course, this rejection of GOD and elevation of self has been a constant problem throughout human history.
‘The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Therefore, God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised.
Amen.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. Thus, our desire to recklessly spend the nation into oblivion is a symptom of the problem. It is not the problem per se. Therefore, the House of Representatives must attack the problem and not just the symptoms. Those Republicans who claim we must concentrate on economic issues without addressing moral values are absolutely wrong. A cancer is ended when the cancer itself is attacked successfully. Attacking the symptoms only will not end the cancer.”

Today, I address stopping the homosexual agenda and reversing the ridiculous concept that a particular sinful, immoral behavior—homosexual behavior—is somehow a “civil right” to be protected by governments. The 111th Congress, with the help of RINO Republicans who have disregarded a Republican Party Platform Plank, have been more successful in this area than in their promotion of the MURDER of the unborn. However, their efforts can and MUST be reversed.

How can we stop this radical push? See my urgent message below—Mat. (Don’t be fooled! The ultimate goal of these activists is not just to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act but to “legitimize” homosexual behavior by requiring the acceptance of homosexual marriage throughout the United States by federal law and federal court decision. They claim to believe it is inevitable! It is NOT!—my addition)
Yesterday, Representative Barney Frank threw down the gauntlet and crowed about further pro-homosexual initiatives while speaking at a ceremony marking the end of the military’s ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy. The 1993 law underlying DADT prohibited open homosexuality in our armed forces.
Frank tauntingly said, ‘For those who are worried about the radical homosexual agenda, let me put them on notice—two down, two to go.’ (Vice President Joe Bidden later claimed publicly that homosexual marriage will occur throughout the United States. It is inevitable. They are trying to wear down the will of the American people with the help of Republican RINOs. We need to make him a one term Vice President!—my addition.)
Yet on Election Day 2010, ‘We the People’ overwhelmingly rejected the radical leftist policies advanced by President Obama and his super-majority Democratic legislature. The now-defunct (and not a minute too soon!) 111th Congress and their unbelievable arrogance stirred a deep resolve among patriotic citizens of all parties (and even those with no party) to stop them from remaking the United States of America into an atheist, socialist nation.
Amazingly, this outgoing congressional body learned nothing from the ‘shellacking’ (President Obama’s word) they got on Election Day.” (Yes they did! They learned they had to push through as much of their agenda as possibly before the 112th Congress was sworn in. That’s why the urgency during the lame duck session. Unfortunately, some RINOs in the Republican Party, particularly in the Senate, bought into it and helped passed the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. Those RINOs MUST be held accountable at their next election. This travesty IS NOT over with, if we remain united and resolved!—my addition)

A couple of weeks ago, the Senate voted to repeal the ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,’ law that kept homosexual service members from serving ‘openly’. Contrary to the liberal drumbeat, these people could serve. They just had to keep their orientation hidden.
Personally, I think that is a great idea across the board. Not only do I not care about what you do in the bedroom, I don’t want to know. (I care what they do when they openly advocate for such behavior and when they advocate the acceptance of homosexual behavior as public policy. Then, it does and should be an issue for they are advocating immoral behavior and trying to force that behavior and its acceptance onto the American people. It is not Christians who are trying to subject homosexuals to our beliefs. It is homosexual activists who are trying to subject society to their immoral life-style behavior. That behavior is NOT good for them and it is NOT good for the nation. GOD will punish immoral behavior and those who support and advocate immoral behavior. And he punishes nations that do the same. GOD is a JUST GOD! GOD does not tolerate SIN forever. HE can NOT!!—my addition)
The repeal of DADT has never been about homosexuals. A larger agenda is at work. The United States military is a conservative organization. The military service members overwhelmingly vote conservative. The military also serves as a guardian of our freedom.
Soldiers swear oaths to the Constitution, not to a leader. The number of homosexuals discharged under DADT over the last ten years has been minimal. Less than one tenth of one percent. The left has been moaning about all the people we have lost. There simply have not been that many. And of course, this does not count those who made sure they were ‘outed’ just so they could leave the military.
The left has an interesting idea. When they lose a battle, they simply move on. Nothing is final. When conservatives lose a battle, then the battle is supposed to be over.
Unfortunately, many conservatives buy this line and simply give up and move on to the next loss.
Why?
DADT is far from over and we conservatives should not simply give up on this battle.
One of the rules I live by is, if you want to be successful, look at what successful people do. If insanity is defined as trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, by trying the same thing, you will get the same result.
Cloward-Piven has been one of the left’s most successful strategies. Cloward-Piven started with welfare recipients. The theory is you overwhelm the system with bureaucratic demands that the system collapses.
Why not use a Cloward-Piven strategy on DADT?
The repeal only takes place when the President, the Secretary of Defense and Congress certify the military is ready. How many roadblocks can we put in front of this? With an allegedly conservative House of Representatives, we should be able to block the congressional certification this year. How about for next year? Simply defund any attempt by the Office of the President or the Secretary of Defense to certify the military ready for the repeal of DADT. How many other roadblocks can we put in front of this?
If this strategy works for DADT, how else could it work? Could we use this to stop implementation of Obamacare until it is repealed? How about stopping portions of the Finance Reform or the Food Safety bill the same way?
These are certainly possibilities, but first conservatives must have a sea change in their attitudes. Conservatives must develop the attitude that says, just because we lost, does not mean we have lost. This is the attitude the left has used for the last half century. They keep pushing and pushing. It is time for conservatives to start pushing back and to keep pushing. It’s time the left took up the attitude, when we lost, we have lost.”
We should and MUST take the offensive. The House of Representatives should immediate pass a bill to repeal the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. And also a repeal of the homosexual preference law!—laughingly referred to as a “Hate Crimes Act.”
Will any of these actions survive in the Senate and, if so, survive a veto from the President? Defunding of these laws can certainly occur. If the House of Representatives does not provide the funds, legally the funding is ended. It is not necessary for the Senate to concur and there is no specific law for the President to veto. Repealing these laws will be difficult in the Senate but not impossible. Senators up for reelection in 2012 may not want their voting record showing continued support for these laws while relying on the President to veto it.
Either way, we will have tried to change the obscene practice of supporting immoral, GOD condemned behavior and will have a campaign issue for the 2012 election. Voters do not know how one of their elected Representatives will vote until he/she has actually voted. Put their feet to the fire! Make them vote on the issue!
Lately, I have been using the following Biblical quote: “WOE TO THOSE WHO CALL EVIL GOOD AND GOOD EVIL” Isaiah 5: 20a (“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” Isaiah 5: 20) Homosexual behavior is EVIL! GOD’S WORD declares it so. Our society, our government, our courts will NOT change that TRUTH! Have we become that EVIL of a society? We desperately need to reverse this EVIL for the sake of the nation! Otherwise, is there any doubt that woe is us? Read the example of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible—Genesis 18: 16 through chapter 19 through verse 29. It is past time to TAKE BACK the NATION and RETURN to GOD’S will and HIS true values!
