‘The release yesterday by the National Urban League of their annual ‘State of Black America’ report, and the accompanying town hall discussion, have taken on the look and feel of liturgy, a prescribed act of public worship driven by tradition and resistant to modern influence. This report has been issued annually since 1976, and the problems and solutions presented have essentially remained unchanged for 35 years.’
‘If we aren’t willing to admit that the prescriptions of the past have failed to effect a cure, then we are not serious about fixing the problems, and condemning millions of black Americans to permanent underclass status in the process.’ (Which is EXACTLY what the left wants!!! ‘I’m more concerned about the $1 trillion of America’s gross domestic product that resides in the black community, which could be used to train potential entrepreneurs, build neighborhood businesses, establish alternative schools, mentor black boys who need male role models to teach them how to be men, and teach good financial stewardship to black families so they can build generational wealth, among other things.
Entrepreneurship, education and examples are what our communities need (AND CHRIST; not government—my addition), and we have the resources to meet those needs.’

“Liberalism, Black America’s Greatest Enemy

I recently had another cherished chat over the phone with my 84 year old black dad. He lives in Maryland. I live in Florida. Dad, sharp as ever, still pastors four churches. He also volunteers a few days a week teaching at an elementary school.
Dad told me about an outrageously unruly and disruptive little boy in his class. Dad said,
‘Every time I take him to the office for discipline, they do nothing and send the disobedient child back to my class.’ Dad jokingly said, ‘Does this kid have something on you guys? Why do you keep letting him off Scott free?’ Dad, the answer to why the school is not administering discipline is liberalism.’
Excited, I thought, ‘This is a great opportunity to talk to dad about the evils and failure of liberalism which is the ideology of his idolized black president, Obama.’
Dad is a strong Christian who lives by conservative principles and values. And yet, he always votes democrat. Dad is old school in his political beliefs; democrats are for the little guy. Republicans are rich, white and racist. Dad is clueless to the fact that the leadership of his beloved democrat party has been hijacked by the far left. Blind to his own racism, Obama is dad’s hero solely because he is black.
Perhaps, my explaining how liberalism hurts people will give dad a better insight into why his first born is a black conservative republican and does not share his admiration for the first black president. Thus, I am, excuse the pun, the ‘black sheep’ of our black family.
A part of me wants to say, ‘Dad, what on earth is the matter with you? Snap out of it! As a Christian, how can you justify your almost idol worship of Obama whose policies go against your Christian principles and values? (A very GOOD question!—my addition) Does your loyalty to skin color override your commitment to Christ?’ (Another very GOOD question!!!—my addition)
Call me wimpy or old fashion, but confronting my dad ‘straight up’ feels disrespectful. Also, attacking dad’s superhero directly would be unfruitful. I must take a more stealth approach to educating dad about the truth of Obama’s destructive agenda. I thought, ‘I will attack liberalism rather than Obama.’
Confidently, I stated, ‘Dad, liberalism is black America’s greatest enemy. Allow me to explain how liberalism sounds compassionate, but in reality, is extremely destructive, counter to the human spirit and is destroying our great country. I give you Liberal Dad vs Conservative Dad.’
One morning Liberal Dad says to his little boy, ‘Wake up Johnny, time for school.’ Johnny whines, ‘Dad, I don’t want to go to school. It is hard and not much fun. The kids are mean!’ Liberal Dad replies, ‘You’re right son. I feel your pain (Or, it’s not FAIR!!!—my addition). You can stay home.’
Conservative Dad would say, ‘Jonathan Brandon Whatever, the third, you get your butt out of that bed and get ready for school this instant! I realize school can be difficult. I’ll speak with your teachers and join the PTA. Your future success and happiness depend upon you acquiring a good education. I am forcing you to go to school because I love you!’
Which father displayed the most ‘true’ compassion? Answer: Obviously, Conservative Dad.
I continued explaining to my dad how liberalism tends to be about instant gratification and being generous with other folk’s hard earned money. So, you’re an immigrant desirous of reaping the benefits of U.S. citizenship. Liberals say we totally understand you choosing not to trouble yourself with taking the legal path to citizenship, just sneak across our border. Liberals condemn all enforcement of U.S. immigration laws as being racist and cruel. And, God forbid we conservatives dare hold anyone accountable for bad behavior. Liberals accuse us of being ‘holier than thou.’
I told dad how 50% of black males are not graduating high school. Why not? A high school education is free (At least for that individual student!—my addition). Again, the problem is liberalism which encourages a break down in standards and morals. Yes, I said morals. Don’t paint me as a Bible thumping fanatic for mentioning the liberal hated ‘M’ word. (And morality, true Christian morality is hated by the left!!!—my addition)
In the 1950s when racism truly was a problem for blacks in America, most black kids grew up in two parent homes. Today, after 60 years of liberal democrat entitlement programs, most black kids are growing up in fatherless homes. No matter how you slice it, something is seriously wrong in the black community. And it has nothing to do with white folks nor republicans.
These fatherless black boys make babies and join gangs. Typical of liberal screwed up thinking, I heard a PhD on TV say, ‘There is nothing a father can teach his son which the child can not learn from his single mother.’ I thought, ‘Good lord, this woman went to college to learn this crap!’ Newsflash libs, males crave male bonding and leadership. Why do you think they join gangs? This is not rocket science!
Liberal entitlement/welfare policies are exploitive. They encourage a destructive cycle of out of wedlock births and government dependency (The modern day form of SLAVERY—my addition). Sadly, these poor souls created by government to be insecure in regards to their ability continue to vote democrat to keep the freebies coming. (Trading a few freebies for FREEDOM!!!—my addition)
History confirms Americans respond swiftly, enthusiastically and cheerfully to lending a hand to neighbors in need domestic and foreign. Regardless of liberals’ anti-America rhetoric, we are the most generous nation on the planet (Because it is a CHRISTIAN trait!—my addition). We have no problem with government providing a safety net. We do disagree with folks turning the safety net into a hammock.
Despite his black son being active in the movement and even writing and performing the ‘American Tea Party Anthem,’ for crying out load, dad believes the tea party is racist. Yes, he believes the NAACP, CNN and the other liberal media over me. Still, I interjected in our conversation how the tea party is about rejecting liberalism and has nothing to do with race.
Without directly attacking his hero, Obama, I believe my conversation with my dad ended with him a little more enlightened to the evils and failures of liberalism. Excellent!

“Time to Pull The Cloak of Invisibility Off Of Black Conservatives.

CNN traveled with us on Tea Party Express, to approximately 40 rallies nationwide. I, a black conservative, opened each rally singing my ‘American Tea Party Anthem.’ And yet, not I nor any of the other blacks on our team were seen in the CNN documentary; thus, causing viewers to conclude the Tea Party Movement is a ‘white thing.’
For the most part, the liberal media ignores black conservatives. And when they do interview one of us, it is from a, ‘Can you believe this stupid Uncle Tom,’ point of view.
Unfortunately, conservative media and most tea party organizers do not seem to grasp the strategic wisdom in featuring and supporting black conservatives.
Brothers and sisters, the Left is exploiting Obama’s skin color for everything it is worth. Their guy in the indestructible black coat of armor is making all of their liberal dreams come true; usurping more power than any ‘white’ president could imagine in his wildest dreams. (True!!!—my addition)
You can’t say ‘no’ to Obama. He’s black! All opposition is racist. Folks, the left is fighting to win, working the ‘black thing’ to the hilt. We can not afford to leave our black weapons of mass influence on the sidelines.
Our economy is an unprecedented disaster. Pundits are saying under ‘normal conditions’ the president would be fired. However, they believe Obama will be re-elected. (I don’t!!! And I PRAY he doesn’t!!! And it has NOTHING to do with skin color!!! I don’t care a hoot about a person’s skin color! I care about his character! Does he support the MURDER of unborn babies? Does he support immoral homosexual behavior? Does he oppose GOD?—my addition) ‘Normal conditions’ means if the president was white. In other words, pundits believe Obama’s black skin is the ultimate trump card deflating all opposition to his systematic destruction of America.
Patriots, a second Obama term is the end of America as we know it.
Meanwhile, black conservatives are giving it their all, tirelessly fighting to defeat Obama; for the most part, in anonymity.
We have many great black conservatives on our side. They should be featured front and center at our rallies, TV shows, radio shows and etc; not for the sake of black conservatives, but in defense of our Tea Party Movement. (TRUE!!!—my addition)
Here’s how a black radio talk show host began his interview with me, ‘If they (meaning white tea partiers) want to attract black people, the least credible thing they could do is to stick a black guy out front wearing a cowboy hat (meaning me).’
I wanted to say, ‘Screw you and end the interview.’ But, a still small voice in my brain said,
‘Hang in the there.’ I boldly espoused conservative principles. His scheduled 10 minute radio interview with me went for 30 minutes. Remarkably, every caller into the program agreed with me. Praise God! Folks, we have got to take our message to the black community.
Also, funding should be targeted to take our Tea Party message to the black community. Seasoned politicians say nothing gets votes like going to the people; knocking on doors and showing up at community events.
Obama and his minions including the liberal media continue to lie about the intentions of the tea party. In a soon to be released book, Obama says the tea party is motivated by race. It’s time we go to the black community and tell our side of the story, the truth (AGREED!!!—my addition). Let black America know the tea party has nothing to do with race and everything to do with preserving our freedom, liberty and culture.
I am trying to launch a mini tour to black colleges titled, ‘Reach Your Dreams.’ The message of my rallies targeted to black youths is, ‘The best route to reaching your dreams is conservatism.’ The rallies will feature mostly black conservative speakers including a few black conservative rappers. I will emcee, speak and sing. I need sponsorship.

This is refreshingly honest, and VERY timely! The head of the national Black Chamber of Commerce actually says that Obama is ‘starting to look Marxist’ to him; he admitted that he voted for Obama ‘because he’s black,’ he said he fell for the ‘hope’ propaganda, and that he’ll take that mistake with him to the grave.
He railed on Obama for wanting $7/gallon gasoline, and for having as much success as Obama has had in making gasoline prices ‘necessarily skyrocket’ (he doesn’t use those exact words). He was VERY CRITICAL of Barack Hussein Obama. He predicted that Obama would get less than 35% of the ‘black vote.’ Laura Ingraham was stunned. (I don’t think it will be that low. It should be! It should be lower! But, I don’t think it will be!—my addition)
This is the guy who failed to kiss the ring of ‘Senator’ Barbara Boxer, and accused her of being ‘racial.’ He called her out for her racist, condescending attitude toward him. Love this guy ...

Today he joined Laura Ingraham on her radio show to talk about Obama’s business policies. He started with this:
‘Obama wanted the National Black Chamber to dance to his music and have blind allegiance to his crazy programs and agenda, which are totally anti-business. We are a pro-business organization. So we have to stand on the side of business, and the benefit of our members, which are black entrepreneurs.’
Eventually he got to calling Obama and the administration ‘Marxist’ and ‘fanatical.’
‘They might as well put on the brown shirts and swastikas,’ he said.
But that’s not all. Alford also admitted he only voted for Obama ‘because he’s [Obama] black,’ a move he now regrets.
‘That is a lesson I will take to my grave,’ he said solemnly, later saying Obama is ‘wrecking’ the country and is ‘dangerous.’”
The fact is that government dependency is the new slavery for both Blacks and whites and any other groups who become government dependent!!! And the left wants EXACTLY that—government dependency!!!

“Liberalism, Black America’s Greatest Enemy

I recently had another cherished chat over the phone with my 84 year old black dad. He lives in Maryland. I live in Florida. Dad, sharp as ever, still pastors four churches. He also volunteers a few days a week teaching at an elementary school.
Dad told me about an outrageously unruly and disruptive little boy in his class. Dad said,
‘Every time I take him to the office for discipline, they do nothing and send the disobedient child back to my class.’ Dad jokingly said, ‘Does this kid have something on you guys? Why do you keep letting him off Scott free?’ Dad, the answer to why the school is not administering discipline is liberalism.’
Excited, I thought, ‘This is a great opportunity to talk to dad about the evils and failure of liberalism which is the ideology of his idolized black president, Obama.’
Dad is a strong Christian who lives by conservative principles and values. And yet, he always votes democrat. Dad is old school in his political beliefs; democrats are for the little guy. Republicans are rich, white and racist. Dad is clueless to the fact that the leadership of his beloved democrat party has been hijacked by the far left. Blind to his own racism, Obama is dad’s hero solely because he is black.
Perhaps, my explaining how liberalism hurts people will give dad a better insight into why his first born is a black conservative republican and does not share his admiration for the first black president. Thus, I am, excuse the pun, the ‘black sheep’ of our black family.
A part of me wants to say, ‘Dad, what on earth is the matter with you? Snap out of it! As a Christian, how can you justify your almost idol worship of Obama whose policies go against your Christian principles and values? (A very GOOD question!—my addition) Does your loyalty to skin color override your commitment to Christ?’ (Another very GOOD question!!!—my addition)
Call me wimpy or old fashion, but confronting my dad ‘straight up’ feels disrespectful. Also, attacking dad’s superhero directly would be unfruitful. I must take a more stealth approach to educating dad about the truth of Obama’s destructive agenda. I thought, ‘I will attack liberalism rather than Obama.’
Confidently, I stated, ‘Dad, liberalism is black America’s greatest enemy. Allow me to explain how liberalism sounds compassionate, but in reality, is extremely destructive, counter to the human spirit and is destroying our great country. I give you Liberal Dad vs Conservative Dad.’
One morning Liberal Dad says to his little boy, ‘Wake up Johnny, time for school.’ Johnny whines, ‘Dad, I don’t want to go to school. It is hard and not much fun. The kids are mean!’ Liberal Dad replies, ‘You’re right son. I feel your pain (Or, it’s not FAIR!!!—my addition). You can stay home.’
Conservative Dad would say, ‘Jonathan Brandon Whatever, the third, you get your butt out of that bed and get ready for school this instant! I realize school can be difficult. I’ll speak with your teachers and join the PTA. Your future success and happiness depend upon you acquiring a good education. I am forcing you to go to school because I love you!’
Which father displayed the most ‘true’ compassion? Answer: Obviously, Conservative Dad.
I continued explaining to my dad how liberalism tends to be about instant gratification and being generous with other folk’s hard earned money. So, you’re an immigrant desirous of reaping the benefits of U.S. citizenship. Liberals say we totally understand you choosing not to trouble yourself with taking the legal path to citizenship, just sneak across our border. Liberals condemn all enforcement of U.S. immigration laws as being racist and cruel. And, God forbid we conservatives dare hold anyone accountable for bad behavior. Liberals accuse us of being ‘holier than thou.’
I told dad how 50% of black males are not graduating high school. Why not? A high school education is free (At least for that individual student!—my addition). Again, the problem is liberalism which encourages a break down in standards and morals. Yes, I said morals. Don’t paint me as a Bible thumping fanatic for mentioning the liberal hated ‘M’ word. (And morality, true Christian morality is hated by the left!!!—my addition)
In the 1950s when racism truly was a problem for blacks in America, most black kids grew up in two parent homes. Today, after 60 years of liberal democrat entitlement programs, most black kids are growing up in fatherless homes. No matter how you slice it, something is seriously wrong in the black community. And it has nothing to do with white folks nor republicans.
These fatherless black boys make babies and join gangs. Typical of liberal screwed up thinking, I heard a PhD on TV say, ‘There is nothing a father can teach his son which the child can not learn from his single mother.’ I thought, ‘Good lord, this woman went to college to learn this crap!’ Newsflash libs, males crave male bonding and leadership. Why do you think they join gangs? This is not rocket science!
Liberal entitlement/welfare policies are exploitive. They encourage a destructive cycle of out of wedlock births and government dependency (The modern day form of SLAVERY—my addition). Sadly, these poor souls created by government to be insecure in regards to their ability continue to vote democrat to keep the freebies coming. (Trading a few freebies for FREEDOM!!!—my addition)
History confirms Americans respond swiftly, enthusiastically and cheerfully to lending a hand to neighbors in need domestic and foreign. Regardless of liberals’ anti-America rhetoric, we are the most generous nation on the planet (Because it is a CHRISTIAN trait!—my addition). We have no problem with government providing a safety net. We do disagree with folks turning the safety net into a hammock.
Despite his black son being active in the movement and even writing and performing the ‘American Tea Party Anthem,’ for crying out load, dad believes the tea party is racist. Yes, he believes the NAACP, CNN and the other liberal media over me. Still, I interjected in our conversation how the tea party is about rejecting liberalism and has nothing to do with race.
Without directly attacking his hero, Obama, I believe my conversation with my dad ended with him a little more enlightened to the evils and failures of liberalism. Excellent!

CNN traveled with us on Tea Party Express, to approximately 40 rallies nationwide. I, a black conservative, opened each rally singing my ‘American Tea Party Anthem.’ And yet, not I nor any of the other blacks on our team were seen in the CNN documentary; thus, causing viewers to conclude the Tea Party Movement is a ‘white thing.’
For the most part, the liberal media ignores black conservatives. And when they do interview one of us, it is from a, ‘Can you believe this stupid Uncle Tom,’ point of view.
Unfortunately, conservative media and most tea party organizers do not seem to grasp the strategic wisdom in featuring and supporting black conservatives.
Brothers and sisters, the Left is exploiting Obama’s skin color for everything it is worth. Their guy in the indestructible black coat of armor is making all of their liberal dreams come true; usurping more power than any ‘white’ president could imagine in his wildest dreams. (True!!!—my addition)
You can’t say ‘no’ to Obama. He’s black! All opposition is racist. Folks, the left is fighting to win, working the ‘black thing’ to the hilt. We can not afford to leave our black weapons of mass influence on the sidelines.
Our economy is an unprecedented disaster. Pundits are saying under ‘normal conditions’ the president would be fired. However, they believe Obama will be re-elected. (I don’t!!! And I PRAY he doesn’t!!! And it has NOTHING to do with skin color!!! I don’t care a hoot about a person’s skin color! I care about his character! Does he support the MURDER of unborn babies? Does he support immoral homosexual behavior? Does he oppose GOD?—my addition) ‘Normal conditions’ means if the president was white. In other words, pundits believe Obama’s black skin is the ultimate trump card deflating all opposition to his systematic destruction of America.
Patriots, a second Obama term is the end of America as we know it.
Meanwhile, black conservatives are giving it their all, tirelessly fighting to defeat Obama; for the most part, in anonymity.
We have many great black conservatives on our side. They should be featured front and center at our rallies, TV shows, radio shows and etc; not for the sake of black conservatives, but in defense of our Tea Party Movement. (TRUE!!!—my addition)
Here’s how a black radio talk show host began his interview with me, ‘If they (meaning white tea partiers) want to attract black people, the least credible thing they could do is to stick a black guy out front wearing a cowboy hat (meaning me).’
I wanted to say, ‘Screw you and end the interview.’ But, a still small voice in my brain said,
‘Hang in the there.’ I boldly espoused conservative principles. His scheduled 10 minute radio interview with me went for 30 minutes. Remarkably, every caller into the program agreed with me. Praise God! Folks, we have got to take our message to the black community.
Also, funding should be targeted to take our Tea Party message to the black community. Seasoned politicians say nothing gets votes like going to the people; knocking on doors and showing up at community events.
Obama and his minions including the liberal media continue to lie about the intentions of the tea party. In a soon to be released book, Obama says the tea party is motivated by race. It’s time we go to the black community and tell our side of the story, the truth (AGREED!!!—my addition). Let black America know the tea party has nothing to do with race and everything to do with preserving our freedom, liberty and culture.
I am trying to launch a mini tour to black colleges titled, ‘Reach Your Dreams.’ The message of my rallies targeted to black youths is, ‘The best route to reaching your dreams is conservatism.’ The rallies will feature mostly black conservative speakers including a few black conservative rappers. The head of the national Black Chamber of Commerce actually says that Obama is ‘starting to look Marxist’ to him; he admitted that he voted for Obama ‘because he’s black,’ he said he fell for the ‘hope’ propaganda, and that he’ll take that mistake with him to the grave.
He railed on Obama for wanting $7/gallon gasoline, and for having as much success as Obama has had in making gasoline prices ‘necessarily skyrocket’ (he doesn’t use those exact words). He was VERY CRITICAL of Barack Hussein Obama. He predicted that Obama would get less than 35% of the ‘black vote.’ Laura Ingraham was stunned. (I don’t think it will be that low. It should be! It should be lower! But, I don’t think it will be!—my addition)
This is the guy who failed to kiss the ring of ‘Senator’ Barbara Boxer, and accused her of being ‘racial.’ He called her out for her racist, condescending attitude toward him. Love this guy ...

Today he joined Laura Ingraham on her radio show to talk about Obama’s business policies. He started with this:
‘Obama wanted the National Black Chamber to dance to his music and have blind allegiance to his crazy programs and agenda, which are totally anti-business. We are a pro-business organization.
