“The Fed said it will spend $40 billion a month to buy mortgage bonds for as long as it deems necessary to make home buying more affordable. It plans to keep short-term interest rates at record lows through mid-2015—six months longer than previously planned. And it’s ready to take other unconventional steps if job growth doesn’t pick up.”

In other words, the Fed plans to continue to steal from savers. A question. We are over $16 trillion in debt. Just where is the Fed getting this money to buy mortgage bonds?

“White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Thursday that the Obama administration also condemns the violence in several Islamic countries the film has reportedly triggered. He says the attacks on U.S. facilities in Egypt, Libya and Yemen are totally unjustified and should be squelched by local governments.”

The film DID NOT trigger anything! These were planned and they were planned around the 9/11 anniversary! The film is an excuse NOT a trigger!

“Attorney General Eric Holder said Justice Department officials had opened a criminal investigation into the diplomats’ deaths.”

Just who are the Justice Department investigating? U.S. citizens in the United States? For what?

State adopts definition that ‘pain’ is ‘physical injury’

Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden (Guess who is Beau Bidens father!—my addition) says it’s ‘paramount’ to keep children safe, but a new law he spearheaded will prevent—under threat of jail time—parents from giving junior a swat on the bottom hard enough to help him remember it’s not a good thing to poke a spoon handle into an electric outlet.

That’s because Biden’s new law, signed by Democratic Delaware Governor Jack Markell September 12, defines any ‘pain,’ even from a loving swat, as ‘physical injury’ and threatens parents with up to two years in jail for disciplining their children.

According to a statement from the Home School Legal Defense Association,

which fought the proposal, the law previously permitted a parent to use force to punish a child for misconduct, but it held parents back from any action that caused—or was likely to cause—physical injury.

But now, by defining ‘physical injury’ to include any ‘pain’ a child reports feeling, spanking has become a crime in Delaware punishable by imprisonment.

HSLDA Special Counsel Dee Black’s statement said the move made Delaware ‘the first state in the nation to effectively outlaw corporal discipline of children by their parents.’

‘A parent causing pain to a child who was 3 years of age or younger would be guilty of a class G felony and subject to two years in prison,’ Black noted. ‘A parent causing ‘physical injury’ (e.g., pain) to a child under age 18 would be guilty of a class A misdemeanor and subject to one year in prison.’

The law itself leaves no doubt, stating, ‘‘Physical injury’ to a child shall mean any impairment of physical condition or pain.’

When he signed the law, Markell’s website said all parents who cause any pain in the course of disciplining their children now are ‘child abusers.’

‘Creating a crime of child abuse will better tailor our laws to meet the needs of children, especially infants and toddlers as well as children with developmental disabilities,’ Senate Majority Leader Patricia Blevins, a Democrat, said in a statement.

‘Our children rely on us to shield them from harm and hold those who hurt them accountable, and we continue to work together to live up to that expectation (Unless, of course, the children are still in the womb. Then it is alright to MURDER them!—my addition),’ Markell said.

The problem for critics of the law is in the details. The law itself says ‘causing physical injury to a child will carry a maximum prison term of one year and a maximum fine of $3,200.’

But with a definition of ‘physical injury’ that includes ‘pain,’ opponents contend there are consequences for parents who wish to continue to use traditional methods of discipline.

Biden told WDEL news talk radio it was not his intention to crack down on parents (Really?—my addition).

‘This will not do anything to interfere with a parent’s right or ability to parent as they see fit (Nonsense!—my addition), but it also makes it clear that if you abuse a child in any way, shape or form, we’re going to have a statute that we’re going to be able to use to protect kids.’

The Associated Press reported supporters insist the measure does not outlaw spanking or prohibit parents from ‘using reasonable and appropriate discipline (Defined by whom? Certainly NOT the parents!—my addition).’

But HSLDA said it opposed the plan specifically because it would violate the right of parents to direct the upbringing of their children ‘including the long-recognized right to administer reasonable corporal discipline.’

David Anderson, at DelewarePolitics.net, said, ‘Don’t spank, spank, it is none of my business or anyone else’s business.’

‘I always noticed that the so-called studies that were against spanking included non-spanking activities with the fringe that brutalized children. They take some child hit upside their arm with a bat while protecting their head and include them in a sample with one slapped on the rear with a paddle and pretended it was the same thing.’

‘In fact,’ he continued, ‘my progressive friends with their permissive ways may be the ones harming their children.’ (Not may be, are! Children NEED discipline!!!—my addition)

‘You don’t reason out with a two-year-old that you don’t touch the stove in the moment. You slap their hands and then tell them why,’ he continued.

He said in his view while spanking ‘has not been outlawed in the state of Delaware … I think the right has been compromised, and I would urge you to be more circumspect.’”

If the State can prove that an unborn child feels pain when aborted which research seems to establish, will the State then prosecute every mother who aborts a child who feels pain? And you know the answer! OF COURSE THEY WILL NOT BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT THE MURDER OF UNBORN BABIES!!!

Does this law only apply to parents? If so, is that not discriminatory toward a specific class of people over all other classes of people? Or, does it apply to anyone who inflicts pain upon a minor?

If a minor has an abortion and feels pain, will the State then prosecute every abortion provider who aborts because the minor child feels pain? OF COURSE THEY WILL NOT BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT THE MURDER OF UNBORN BABIES!!!

And finally, who determines if the minor feels pain? Does a 3 month old child have to testify that he/she felt pain? Will the State declare that he/she felt pain? Will a judge or jury then decide if he/she felt pain? And guess what, people have different pain thresholds. What is pain to one person is not pain to another. Can you say Pandora’s Box? Imagine a 7 year old who is ticked with a parent; so the 7 year old screams “I feel pain! I feel pain! I feel pain!” The police are called and the parent is arrested because the child screamed “I feel pain?”

I can tell you this, if this law was enforced when I was growing up, my father would be in prison. I wasn’t spanked often but when I was, I deserved it and I felt pain! What value is a spanking if pain is not induced? In fact, if pain is not induced, the spanking is meaningless.

When I was a school board member, one member of the Board introduced a “no spanking” policy. Our administrators pleaded with us not to pass it. Without the threat of corporal punish, the school lost control of a segment of the school population. Those students could care less about other forms of punishment. Remove them from school, great! “I can do what I want! I don’t have to learn anything!” No corporal punishment: “I can terrorize the school and there are no consequences as far as I’m concerned!” The Board DID NOT pass the “no spanking” policy!!! Ah, Delaware. You may MURDER you’re unborn child in the womb up until birth but afterwards, don’t you dare spank them!!!

Why do you think GOD gave us the ability to feel pain? Is it not, in part, to alert us to danger! The Democratic Party is all about control and the governemnt knows best!!!
