“Dear Donald

The Republican War on Women (The ONLY Party waging a war on women is the Democratic Party! Half a million plus unborn baby girls MURDERED ever year!—my addition) met its Alamo in Austin, TX, on Tuesday when state Senator Wendy Davis stood her ground for nearly 13 hours.

At issue was a proposed Texas law which would have severely limited a woman’s right to choose (Choose what?—my addition). Wendy Davis was determined to stop this bill by running out the legislative clock. And she made history when she refused to back down.

Wendy stood up for the rights of women in Texas and across the country (“Right” to MURDER their own child?—my addition) and now we all need to stand with her.”

“Just last week Tea Party Republicans in the U.S. House also tried to attack women across America with their bizarre biological theories (You mean that life begins at conception? Dick, I learned that at an Illinois high school in freshman biology!—my addition) and self-righteous posturing. We know we haven’t heard the end of this non-stop Republican effort to turn back the clock on the rights of American women (NO woman has the right to MURDER their own baby! Dick ought to pay attention to Catholic teachings! He is Catholic, supposedly! By the way, at one time Dick claimed to be pro-life!—my addition) .

But when state Senator Wendy Davis of Fort Worth, TX, started her filibuster at 11:18 a.m. on Tuesday, women across America were given a voice (Seriously!? To MURDER or not to MURDER!—my addition).

Do you want to be counted as standing at Wendy’s side (NO! NO! NO! On the side of MURDERING unborn babies? NEVER! NEVER! NEVER!—my addition)?”

“For nearly 13 hours, Wendy told the stories of women struggling with poverty and poor health care. As she spoke, Republican senators sat nearby waiting to pounce if she faltered under the strict filibuster rules.

No food or water. No bathroom breaks. No sitting down. No leaning. No talking off topic (Which she did!—my addition).

Senator Wendy Davis, a former single teenage mom and Harvard Law grad, took them on. As the day wore on she stood and paced in her pink sneakers. She recounted her own struggle with poverty, and she told story after story of women whose lives would be changed forever by the proposed legislation.

Finally, 15 minutes before midnight, the presiding officer ruled that she had violated state senate rules—but the chaos (Democrat created chaos!—my addition) on the floor made it impossible to finish the vote before the stroke of midnight.

Wendy prevailed, for now. But the Tea Party and right-wing extremists (If you don’t know this from reading my posts, I am a Tea Party member and I’m sure Senator Durbin would consider me a right-wing extremist! And yet he keeps sending me e-mails!—my addition) will not quit.

Texas Governor Rick Perry decided not to allow a mob to threaten the lives of children endangered by late-term abortions. He has called a new special legislative session so that Texas’s representatives can do the work their constituents hired them to do.

Pro-abortion bullies want abortionists to be allowed to rip apart pain-capable children in the womb, or kill them with poison injections through their heads or hearts. They will do anything to maintain this gruesome status quo. But these are unique human beings, and no amount of yelling and screaming can ever be enough to deny them the right to live.

Screaming for the ‘right’ to dismember babies twenty weeks and older in utero. For the ‘right’ to poison them to death.

Senator Davis? Planned Parenthood? You have no shame. You have no compassion.
