I’m posting three short articles today. One dealing with President Obama’s statement about Roe vs. Wade, one from Senator Cruz from Texas, and one in relation to the March for Life in Washington D.C. It took all my will power not to comment on the President’s statement. I might tomorrow. I have not yet decided. May the people of this nation repent from this barbaric practice and return to the days when the government protected ALL human life and did not offer our own unborn babies to the alter of satan and his minions!

“ Obama Celebrates 41 Years of Abortion: Roe an ‘Opportunity to Fulfill Dreams’
by Steven Ertelt | Washington, DC | LifeNews.com | 1/22/14

President Barack Obama issued a statement today celebrating the 41-year-old Roe v. Wade decision that allowed for virtually unlimited abortions. in a written statement, the president said the Roe abortion anniversary is an ‘opportunity to fulfill dreams.’

The decision, handed down on January 22, 1973, overturned pro-life laws offering protection for unborn children in most states across the country, and made abortions legal and virtually unlimited. Almost 57 million unborn children have been killed in abortions since.

The statement follows:

Today, as we reflect on the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, we recommit ourselves to the decision’s guiding principle: that every woman should be able to make her own choices about her body and her health. We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom. And we resolve to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and continue to build safe and healthy communities for all our children. Because this is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.’

The statement is similar to his 2011 one, which celebrated abortion while trying to stake out a middle position.

For most Americans, the day the Supreme Court handed down its decision was a day to mourn—a day to mourn the loss of tens of millions of unborn children—sons and daughters, brothers and sisters lost to a world that values choice over compassion. It was a day to mourn the damage abortion does to women—the medical problems, the mental health issues, the damaging of relationships with friends and family, and the destruction of relationships with God.

It was a day to mourn the culture of death abortion has brought to our nation and our world. A culture that believes death is a solution for those who are considered too old or too ill. A culture that believes human life is a commodity to be created and manipulated.

Polling data shows Americans are pro-life and few agree with Obama’s unlimited abortion position.”

“Ted Cruz: Roe Reminds Us of the Tragic Loss of 56 Million Unborn Babies
by Ted Cruz | Washington, DC | LifeNews.com | 1/22/14

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, released the following statement marking the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade:

‘Today, thousands of people march to the Supreme Court with heavy hearts. It is a solemn ritual, one that reminds us of the tragic loss of over 56 million unborn lives.

Fifty-six million boys and girls who never drew a breath of air. Poets and inventors, doctors and athletes, explorers and musicians, the world is far the poorer for their loss.

‘Every human life is a precious gift from God, and our law should protect innocent human life. Yet 41 years ago, the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision overturned the Texas law that prohibited abortion on demand.

As we mourn the loss of millions of souls, we also commemorate the good work that citizens continue to do to fervently defend life. Beyond the thousands of marchers in Washington today, countless individuals are devoted to affirming life, to promoting adoption and to helping provide comfort and aid to new mothers in distress. Their efforts have continued to make significant steps towards valuing the dignity of each human life.

This past year, we saw the horror of late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted of deliberately killing babies already born. The tragedy of that case can never be undone, but the fact that he was found guilty by a jury of his peers in Philadelphia is a small step towards basic human decency.

In time, we can all hope that we can come together and create a culture of life, where every human life is protected, cherished, and respected.’”

“Hundreds of Thousands of Pro-Lifers March for Life: Mourn 56 Million Abortions
by Steven Ertelt | Washington, DC | LifeNews.com | 1/22/14

Hundreds of thousands of pro-life people turned out for the annual March for Life in Washington, braving cold temperatures to take a stand for the right to life of unborn children. While marchers mourned 41 years of legalized abortion, many sounded a hopeful theme for a pro-life future and think the decision will eventually be reversed.

The Roe v. Wade decision, handed down on January 22, 1973, overturned pro-life laws offering protection for unborn children in most states across the country, and made abortions legal and virtually unlimited.

Almost 57 million unborn children have been killed in abortions since.

President Barack Obama issued a message celebrating abortion but polling data shows Americans are pro-life and few agree with Obama’s unlimited abortion position. Pope Francis sent out a tweet praying for the marchers.

As with other recent marches, the number of young adults and high school and college students impressed organizers and provided another reason to be optimistic.

LifeNews has collected dozens of March for Life pictures from pro-lifers attending today’s March for Life. Below is a selection of those celebrating life and mourning Roe v. Wade.”

I am posting a few. More at the website.

We will have been MURDERING unborn babies for 41 years! A total abomination for any nation! A total atrocity for any nation! A total evil for any nation!

No one has the rightto MURDER another person! NO ONE!

Christians were bold in the First Century church! Are Christians as bold today?

Christians were resolute in the First Century church! Are Christians as resolute today?

Christians stood for the truth in the First Century church! Are Christians standing for the truth today?

If not Christians, who? If not now, when?

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

That is why I am working to get the Constitution Party on the ballot in Texas. If we get on the ballot, we will have two Congressional House candidates running and two State candidates running. Getting on the ballot is the first step. Winning elections is the second. Winning elections will grow the Party. The Constitution Party is much more in line with the Tea Party movement than is the Republican Party. And I have been involved with all three!

The Constitution Party of Texas website: http://cptexas.us/home/

If elected to Congress, I will not, under any circumstances, vote for present Speaker of the House John Boehner to be Speaker of the House. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge. See my post at http://christiangunslinger3.blogspot.com on December 16, 2013 entitled “Speaker of the House John Boehner Attacks the Tea Party Again for Being Fiscally Responsible!”

If I am elected to the House, I will use the Constitution, as written, to do everything in my power to stop judicial tyranny! Will the other candidates pledge the same? I know our present Representative has NOT done everything possible to stop judicial tyranny! Why is that?

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
