A cold start across much of the United States—weather delays forced me to miss Monday’s kickoff event in Orlando. I finally got to Florida—in time for other campaign events. More on that in a bit.
First, I can’t wait to share with you the news of a tremendous setback for Planned Parenthood!
Kathy had wanted to deliver the huge news at Columbia’s kickoff rally on Sunday—but the ice and snow were just too much, so she had to settle for email.
For volunteers who’ve prayed outside the local abortion center for years, her message was both a big victory and an answered prayer: ‘Columbia Planned Parenthood cannot do abortions in their facility!’
Kathy had learned that Planned Parenthood no longer had a license for abortions in Columbia and had been removed from the state listing of abortion facilities. Planned Parenthood quietly changed its web site to show that it now offers only abortion referrals.
‘The big giant has admitted its downgrade,’ Kathy said. ‘Please join us in thanking God for His mighty blessing, a blessing which came after nine 40 Days for Life prayer vigils. Wow!’
The only licensed abortion center in all of Missouri now is Planned Parenthood in St. Louis—where, of course, there’s a 40 Days for Life vigil now under way.
The vigil will continue in Columbia as well. Babies are still being saved there—thanks to God’s mercy … and the prayers of the volunteers on the sidewalk.
After my flight was delayed and then re-routed to Tampa, I jumped in a rental car to try to catch the last half of the kickoff event in Lakeland. As I got there late, I was so excited to still see 80 volunteers at 8:30 pm, holding candles and keeping vigil on the dark sidewalk in front of the abortion facility.
The community has really come together with the leadership of Maryanne and her husband, Rick. Leaders of other ministries … including the Diocese of Orlando, Couples for Christ, and the local pregnancy center that’s not far from the abortion facility … were all there to kick off the campaign.

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the last two abortion clinics outside of big Texas cities will close Thursday because they can’t meet the restrictions placed on facilities under the state’s new abortion law.
Whole Woman’s Health in Beaumont and McAllen will close after providing abortions in the areas for a decade. Amy Hagstrom Miller, president of Whole Woman’s Health, which operated five abortion clinics before the law went into effect, said the provision requiring physicians to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of the clinic was proving the most problematic.
Miller said hospitals near her McAllen clinic refused to grant her physicians’ applications for privileges. Some hospitals in the area require their privileged physicians to live nearby. Others require a current physician to co-sign applications for privileges, which many are unwilling to do for fear of being targeted or stigmatized.
In Beaumont, one 75-year-old physician secured privileges, but a second one could not, Miller said.
This is indeed good news, but it is being spun by a pro-abortion news media.
The media has been rather sympathetic to Whole Woman’s but look behind the scenes may shed light into the real reason Miller is closing these centers.
According to a recent state inspection report, Whole Woman’s failed to have some of the same life-saving tools on site that Convicted abortionist Kermit Gosnell was cited for in Pennsylvania.
The report says the facility failed to provide a safe environment for patients and staff. The suction machines which were used on patients had numerous rusty spots which, ‘had the likelihood to cause infection.’
In October, investigators with the state of Texas cited the Beaumont abortion clinic for 13 health and safety code violations.
The report says, ‘the facility failed to have the EKG monitoring equipment ready if an emergency situation occurred …’
The clinic was also cited for expired drugs on the premises:
But now they are reporting they are closing—hmmmm.
In March of 2011, Operation Rescue documented widespread abortion abuses at a dozen Texas abortion clinics. Among the worst offenders was Whole Women’s Health. The McAllen office discoveries were particularly disturbing. Dumped in the trash were the bloody refuse of several abortions along with the names of patients and other private information.
Among the discoveries at several WWH clinics, Patient logs (click here to view) and other records were discovered on Whole Women’s Health forms and the bloody remains of abortions came in bags with other documents bearing Whole Women’s Health’s name. Operation Rescue has made examples of this evidence public.
In December of 2011, Operation Rescue reported that Whole Woman’s Health of McAllen was fined at total of $17,430 by the Texas Commission on Environment Quality for illegal dumping of medical waste.

In November, Life Dynamics, a national pro-life group in Denton, Texas sent fliers to every hospital warning them the abortion lobby was going to attempt to get privileges:
Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics explained the project on the latest episode of his Life Talk show, ‘What we did is created a post card called Hired Killers. This postcard is designed to discourage doctors from getting involved in abortion. We sent one of these to every doctor’s office in Texas. What we are trying to do is keep the waters stirred because what the abortion industry wants is to recruit these guys and tell them, you can just slide in and you don’t have to raise a big ruckus about it. We’re making sure that these doctors understand, there will be a ruckus and this is just the first shot of the ruckus that’s coming (Good move! Exposing evil just as GOD has directed us to do!—my addition).
‘The second thing we did was send a letter to every hospital administrator in Texas. It’s designed to discourage them from granting privileges and be on the lookout for new doctors filing for hospital privileges who are not telling them they are working in an abortion clinic. Before you let them in, you better ask them if they are working in abortion because you don’t want to drag this hospital into the abortion controversy (Good move! Exposing evil just as GOD has directed us to do!—my addition).’
Looks like they have worked to dissuade doctors from assisting Whole Woman’s Health.
Marva Sadler, a regional director at Whole Woman’s complained to the pro-abortion blog, RH Reality saying, ‘We’ve been well aware that Texas has been against us and on us for many, many years. But I did not think I would see a day where they would have put up such barriers that now that we’re actually closing clinics, and they’re essentially taking away the right to fair and safe comprehensive health care that all women, not only in the state of Texas, deserve to have (MURDER is fair and safe? What universe does she live in? MURDERING unborn babies Is not healthcare!—my addition).’
Well … what about the safety of women? I guess that just doesn’t factor into the equation with these killers?

An abortion clinic in Florida has posted a legal notice of closure:
North Florida Women’s Health & Counseling Services, Inc. in Tallahassee posted they will close by March 31, 2014.
The clinic has been in operation since 1981 (For over thirty years of the 41 years plus of unconstitutional MURDERS!—my addition) and its administrator is DEBRA S. SPARKS.
The Agency for Health Care Administration which licenses and inspects abortion clinics in the state, fined the clinic $200.00 in July of 2013 for failing to submit the monthly report of abortions as required by law.
In 2009 a letter of intent was sent for failing to report abortions.
According to local pro-life activists the fines above are basically inconsequential. The real reason the mill is closing is due to a ‘lack of physicians.’
Jay Rogers (who blogs here about abortion in Florida) informed Saynsumth that pro-lifer Matt Ferro visited one of the abortionists Todd Rasner, in his office in Jacksonville over a month ago. In the conversation, Rasner revealed he’d be quitting soon and wanted Matt to know telling Matt that he thinks that late-term abortions are unethical .(One could say that since abortions are MURDER! It is good for an abortionist to admit it! I pray he has repented! All abortions are MURDER and are therefore unethical!—my addition).
Pro-lifers also discovered another abortionist Stephen Duncan, runs two clinics in Tallahassee. However, his license is on active/probation due to several felonies—36 counts of violations of state statute involving the illegal dispensing of controlled substances.

Yesterday, I posted one example of a young life being saved by a mother having a change of heart. Of course, there are others and every example is to be praised and GOD is to be thanked! Tonight the closing of abortion/MURDER clinics in three different States! Again, GOD is to be thanked and praised! A lot of prayer and action has occurred to achieve these positive results! GOD wants use in the battle for life!
Every life is precious! That is why I posted these stories of closings. However, our goal must remain the same. Totally ending the “legalized” MURDER of innocent unborn babies. Unborn babies are protected and should be protected by the same Constitution that we are! It has NEVER been constitutional to MURDER our own children. And unless the Constitution is amended to allow such evil, it never will be!
DO NOT LOSE HEART! The VICTORY IS OURS THROUGH CHRIST!

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.
1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.
2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
