We’ve celebrated more pro-lifers added to Congress, but now they must do something
The elections are over. Pro-lifers won. It is time to stop the victory parades and get down to specifics (Agreed! The new Republican Congress needs to know we demand the end to funding directly and indirectly of Planned MURDERHOOD and any other abortion/MURDER organization! We need to tell them now because the Republican leadership is talking about funding government through September of next year even though we will gain control of Congress in January. The Democrat Senate is not going to end funding for abortion in any bill passed this year! At the maximum, a two month Continuing Resolution until the Republicans take control of Congress in January!—my addition).
For pro-lifers across the country, real action is only measured in one way: Are babies still being murdered (Correct! And they are on a daily basis!—my addition)?
The best way to make the answer to that question a resounding ‘NO!’ is to focus on the largest abortion chain in the United States. Planned Parenthood Federation of America runs that chain and commits one out of every three abortions in the country—over six million babies since 1970.
To end the murder of innocent babies, we need to shut down Planned Parenthood.
An absolutely necessary part of that effort is to shut off all taxpayer money to the organization. To do that, we will need an act of Congress (Simply do not provide any funds in any bill passed next year to Planned MURDERHOOD and similar organizations! No long term bill until the beginning of the next Congress period!—my addition).
Before these last elections, we already had a majority in the House who vote to halt Planned Parenthood funding. But we only had 42 votes in the Senate. Now, we have more pro-life senators and a real chance to pass a bill to defund Planned Parenthood. BUT, members of Congress need to know you care.
