Immigration reform

I have a folder that contains e-mails that I have received in the past dealing with immigration. Since starting this series on immigration, I checked the folder. The following portions are from an e-mail sent to me in May of 2006 by two individuals (2 different e-mails sent by two different people who do not know each other—you may have received the same) during the first nationwide rally held in 2006 for immigration “reform.”

“May 13, 2006”

“This is one e-mail that you would hope wasn’t true, but the pictures (I plan to post one of those pictures at the end of this post—my addition.) seem to tell it all. Very sad! You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the NY Times or on the lead story of the major news networks. (Whether or not the picture was shown, I do not know since I don’t watch national newscasts—my addition.)

Flags flying at Montebello High School (in California—my addition) says it all. The USA is in distress and Mexico has taken over!”
