“Men Behaving Badly: BroChoicers Want Abortions Legal to Sexually Prey on Women
by Carol Tobias | Washington, DC | LifeNews.com | 7/17/13

Maybe I don’t read enough of the material put out by advocates of abortion, but I was appalled by a recent article in the ‘Burnt Orange Report.’ I suppose I should probably thank them for letting us see the real reason some men support legal abortion.

On the blog, Ben Sherman explains why ‘Texas men who like women’ should oppose HB 2, the pro-life bill passed by the Texas legislature. He tries to show us how supportive he is of women and legal abortion, but he soon reveals himself to be a selfish, immature cad.

According to Sherman, a law that places limits on abortion ‘will have serious consequences both on men’s lives and lifestyles’ so ‘when men stand with Texas women against this bill, they are also standing with Texas men.’

Sherman is bold (crass?) enough to write that ‘For those of us guys who like girls—you know, like them like them—and want to have relationships with them that may last anywhere from a few minutes to many years, we need to think about how this bill, by curtailing the bodily autonomy and sexual freedom of women, hurts us, too. We need to stand with women in their fight to control their own bodies (When did a baby become part of the body of a woman? I would like to know how and when that happens!—my addition).’

Sherman expresses some concern about abortion being outlawed and brings out the old obligatory cliche about back-alley abortions, then quickly moves on to how men—or at least a certain kind of man—are affected if abortion is not available (Responsibility! He does not want any!—my addition).

He writes, ‘This bill will force thousands of Texas men into unplanned fatherhood (Unplanned fatherhood? Doesnt he know how one becomes a father?—my addition) by making it impossible for women to access an abortion in the event of an unplanned pregnancy (Not a lot of planning going on is there! And who pays the penalty? The innocent, MURDERED unborn baby! That is the Obama Administrations definition of fairness!—my addition).’

Probably most revealing is his argument, ‘Your sex life is at stake. Can you think of anything that kills the vibe faster than a woman fearing a back-alley abortion (Im sure she is thinking about that!—my addition)? Making abortion essentially inaccessible in Texas will add an anxiety to sex that will drastically undercut its joys. And don’t be surprised if casual sex outside of relationships becomes far more difficult to come by (Too bad, too sad!—my addition).’

Wow! Hope that your daughter, sister, or friend doesn’t end up with a guy like this.

Studies have shown that one of the main reasons a woman gets an abortion is that she doesn’t think she will have the support of her boyfriend/husband to help during the

pregnancy or in raising the child, or that he is pressuring her to having an abortion (Which is obviously his case! And many others!—my addition).

There was, of course, a vigorous response. In a posting the following week, Sherman accused ‘right-wingers’ of misrepresenting his comments. It’s pretty hard to read his comments and not think that he is just a man who wants his fun with no responsibility.

Unfortunately, Ben Sherman is showing us that these men really do exist (Of course they do!—my addition).

LifeNews Note: Carol Tobias is the president of the National Right to Life Committee. This article originally appeared at NRL News Today.

I was in a college class in Arizona a few years ago and the professor wanted to generate a discussion on the MURDER of unborn babies. Of course, since he was a Pro-MURDER supporter, he did not refer to abortion as MURDER.

I’ve found that it is always best to speak first in these cases because you can shut it down quickly. Normally, I say no one has the right to MURDER anyone. That ends the conversation because it is logically impossible to argue that one does have the right to commit MURDER. And no one can realistically argue that the killing of an innocent is not MURDER! No one who has taken a basic biology class can truthfully argue that the unborn baby isn’t. Biologists have taught long before Roe v. Wade was ruled that life begins at conception. Why? Because life begins at conception!

This particularly day, I had just read an article about the “Dirty Little Secret of the Abortion Industry.” And so I started the debate with the dirty little secret. It ended the discussion. What is the dirty little secret?

MEN SUPPORT ABORTION BECAUSE IT REMOVES THEM FROM RESPONSIBILITY!!!
