Pro-Life, Pro-Abortion: Can Pro-Abortion Radicals Change into Pro-Life Missionaries?

According to Politics1, there are nine Republicans running for the open Senate seat in Georgia including three current Congressmen. I was going to sit this primary out and let the voters of Georgia decide their candidate. I am not going to officially give support to any one candidate. That being said, Congressman Paul Broun is the only candidate that routinely sends me e-mails. His website is http://www.paulbroun.com/ From what I can tell, he is a true conservative. I received an e-mail from his campaign yesterday that linked this great campaign ad! I had to share it!

“From "Fetus Slayer" to Pro-Life Champion
Michael Brown |
February 04, 2014

In the midst of the rising tide of hostility that pro-life activists are experiencing (Like a cornered animal that knows he is about to meet his doom! Pro-life supporters are ruthlessly attacked because the pro-MURDERERS know they are losing and will lose!—my addition), it’s important to remember that some of the most vociferous abortion advocates of the past have become prominent pro-life champions. It’s a scenario that is sure to repeat itself again.

According to a January 31st report from Students for Life of America, there was so much hatred and antagonism expressed towards them at a recent demonstration that the ‘police officers had to form a human shield around us as we stood to represent the preborn and their mothers (Any arrests? I didnt think so!—my addition).

In the midst of the outpouring of anger and profanity, one of the abortion activists held up a homemade sign identifying herself as a ‘fetus slayer’ while she tried to jump on Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America.

This is reminiscent of the protests at the Texas Senate last year where pro-abortion activists chanted ‘hail Satan,’ ‘(expletive deleted!—my addition) the church,” and ‘bro-choice’ while holding signs that said ‘hoes before embryos (Classy people! No wonder they are gaining support! Oh, wait! They are losing support! You will know them by their words and deeds!—my addition).’

But is it possible that some of these very protestors, including the young woman holding up the ‘fetus slayer’ sign, could have a radical change of heart? Absolutely (The power of the HOLY SPIRIT!—my addition).

Just think of Dr. Bernard Nathanson, ‘an obstetrician who oversaw the performance of about 75,000 abortions before becoming a leading pro-life advocate and a convert to the Catholic faith. . . .’

As the Daily News reported upon announcement of his death in 2011, ‘After performing his last abortion in 1979 and declaring himself to be pro-life, Nathanson produced the 1985 film The Silent Scream, which shows sonogram images of a child in the womb shrinking from an abortionist’s instruments, and the documentary film Eclipse of Reason, which displays and explains various abortion procedures in graphic detail. Both films had a significant impact on the abortion debate, solidified his credentials among pro-life advocates and earned him the scorn of his former pro-abortion friends and colleagues (Some friends!—my addition).’

And then there is Norma McCorvey, the ‘Jane Roe’ of Roe v. Wade infamy (for those who still don’t know the story, the whole 1973 ruling was based on a non-existent case, as McCorvey never had an abortion). She too had a change of heart and a conversion to the Christian faith, and today, she is a pro-life champion.

As she explains in a one-minute, pro-life video, ‘Back in 1973, I was a very confused twenty-one year old with one child and facing an unplanned pregnancy.’

‘At the time I fought to obtain a legal abortion, but truth be told, I have three daughters and never had an abortion.’

She continues, ‘I think it’s safe to say that the entire abortion industry is based on a lie…. (Duh! MURDER as healthcare! I would say so!—my addition) I am dedicated to spending the rest of my life undoing the law that bears my name (Amen! Except that is part of the problem. There is no law that allows for the MURDER of unborn babies. If there is, please show it to me because Ive never seen it!—my addition).’

She ended the video with these words: ‘You read about me in history books, but now I am dedicated to spreading the truth about preserving the dignity of all human life from natural conception to natural death.’

These are two prominent examples—there is a countless number of less prominent ‘converts’ whose stories are little known—but if God could change the heart of Bernard Nathanson, a man who helped found NARAL and who once operated one of the nation’s largest abortion clinics, and if he could change the heart of the ‘Roe’ in Roe v. Wade, why couldn’t he change the heart of the angry young lady who identified herself as a ‘fetus slayer’ (GOD could but he does not. God through the HOLY SPIRIT does give each of us the opportunity to change our own hearts but HE does not force anyone to change and repent. If HE did, we would not have free will! GOD wants us to come to HIM through our choice not HIS choice! And ultimately those are the only two choices that count! Choosing GOD or rejecting GOD! All the physical wealth in the world can not save you or me! None of us can buy salvation! Choose wisely!—my addition)?

And let’s remember that Dr. Nathanson had his pro-life conversion while still identifying himself as a Jewish atheist, which is all the more striking.

And speaking of the Scriptures, let’s remember that the apostle Paul, the most influential leader in the Jesus movement outside of Jesus himself, once was an archenemy of the faith. As he said in his own words, ‘formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief’ (1 Timothy 1: 13; he actually helped put followers of Jesus to death in those early days [Yes, he did! Just as the supporters of the MURDER of the unborn are helping to MURDER the innocent! Paul repented! So could every MURDERER today! It is up to them only! We can not repent for them! Only for ourselves! There is no collective salvation and there is certainly no salvation through government and through MURDER!—my addition]).

Perhaps some of the most vocal pro-life opponents are just like Paul once was, acting ignorantly and in unbelief? Perhaps they are simply blinded by the spirit of the age and, once their eyes are opened, they too will be changed?

Of course they are fully accountable for their actions, but if we respond to their hostility with compassion and truth (as the pro-life side has faithfully sought to do, with rare exception), we will ultimately ‘overcome evil with good’ (Romans 12: 21).

The good news is that just as abortion rates in America continue to decline (although they are still monstrously high), some of those who identify today as ‘fetus slayers’ will tomorrow be pro-life champions (Prayerfully, soon they will not have to be!—my addition).

Watch and see.”

It is time for all of us who support the morality established by GOD to rebel against the forces of evil! Expose their evil and return to GODS word and will!

Christians were bold in the First Century church! Are Christians as bold today?

Christians were resolute in the First Century church! Are Christians as resolute today?

Christians stood for the truth in the First Century church! Are Christians standing for the truth today?

If not Christians, who? If not now, when?

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

That is why I am working to get the Constitution Party on the ballot in Texas. If we get on the ballot, we will have two Congressional House candidates running and two State candidates running. Getting on the ballot is the first step. Winning elections is the second. Winning elections will grow the Party. The Constitution Party is much more in line with the Tea Party movement than is the Republican Party. And I have been involved with all three!

The Constitution Party of Texas website: http://cptexas.us/home/

If elected to Congress, I will not, under any circumstances, vote for present Speaker of the House John Boehner to be Speaker of the House. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge. See my post at http://christiangunslinger3.blogspot.com on December 16, 2013 entitled “Speaker of the House John Boehner Attacks the Tea Party Again for Being Fiscally Responsible!”

If I am elected to the House, I will use the Constitution, as written, to do everything in my power to stop judicial tyranny! Will the other candidates pledge the same? I know our present Representative has NOT done everything possible to stop judicial tyranny! Why is that?

If elected to Congress, I pledge that I will do everything within my authority as a member of the House of Representatives to begin and complete impeachment proceedings against the President of the United States for violating the Constitution, the laws of the United States as passed by Congress, and his oath of office. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge.

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
