“I have incredibly disturbing news.

The pro-abortion ‘Freedom of Choice Act’ (FOCA) is back, under a misleading new name. We have not faced a bill with such destructive potential in years (The act of desperate Democrats who are losing and they know it!—my addition).

With more pro-life laws passed in the last three years than in the entire previous decade, and after suffering a significant loss in the Hobby Lobby case, President Obama and his Big Abortion allies in the U.S. Senate are now brazenly trying to destroy the efforts that together we have worked for years to create (An act of desperation! If establishment Republicans do not blow it, we will take back the Senate and strengthen our hold on the House!—my addition).

On Tuesday, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on S. 1696, the so-called ‘Women’s Health Protection Act (Another misnomer in a long list of misnomers!—my addition).’ But make no mistake about it; this Bill is destructive to women and their unborn children and is FOCA (Abortion/MURDER under any other name is still abortion/MURDER!—my addition) under a different name.

If enacted, FOCA 2.0, will eliminate hundreds of pro-life laws that we have fought for years to enact (Congress does not have the constitutional authority to nullify State laws! Neither do the federal courts!—my addition).

The pro-life laws this dangerous bill would eliminate include:
· abortion bans (such as 5 month limits or sex-selection bans)
· health and safety standards for abortion clinics
· ultrasound requirements
· laws limiting state funding for abortion facilities

And thanks to your support, no organization has done more to enact and defend these laws than Americans United for Life.

But Big Abortion, assisted by pro-abortion U.S. Senators, is trying to undo this success. Your Success! Because FOCA 2.0 would invalidate virtually any type of state pro-life law and endanger healthcare freedom of conscience. (Which, incidentally, is protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution!—my addition).

Donald, we cannot allow this to happen!
