A Woman’s Right To Choose?

Hearing the democrat’s lock-step argument over the bill passed in the House of Representatives yesterday to ban abortions after it has been determined that the baby feels pain was both amazing and disgustingly selfish.

Where does this concept emerge from that we as citizens have a power of ‘choice without responsibility (The Left has tossed out responsibility a long time ago! The only people who are held responsible are conservatives! Then, whatever they do, whenever they stumble, as we all do, they are held responsible for everything including things not done!—my addition)?’ It seems like the solution to ‘unwanted pregnancy’ is simple: don’t have sex unless you are open to having a baby (Wow! Way too simple! That would be abstinence? How can anyone preach abstinence?—my addition). And don’t have sex unless you are married (You have no right to try to control their lives! They can control our lives but that is different!—my addition). If those were the circumstances, there would be NO abortions (Married people do get abortions/MURDERS. They should not. They do!—my addition).

And it goes further. The liberals, who are often trumpeting how pro-nature they are, are very anti-nature when it comes to sex. Whereas nature’s way of sex is simple. First there needs to be a re-addressing of the simple 4^th grade logic of ‘the birds and the bees.’ That is, all male/female sexual acts have the potential of creating a pregnancy. And the necessity of marriage is expressed by a phrase that I’ve come to: you don’t lay eggs unless you’ve built a nest. And if a pregnancy is not in the current plans, there is the ‘rhythm method.’ That is, only have sex when a woman is not fertile (You are trying to restrict them and control them! That’s not right! Only they can do that!—my addition).

Let’s see how else liberal thinking is out of harmony with nature. Men were not born with condoms attached. Therefore, that is a very anti-nature phenomenon. And what is nature’s feedback regarding unnatural sex? Well, sex outside of marriage is often met with STD’s (sexually transmitted disease). In fact they are FAR more rampant now than any time in recent history.

· More than half of all people will have an STD/STI at some point in their lifetime (Over 50%!—my addition).¹

· Recent estimates from the Centers for Disease Control and Infection show that there are 19.7 million new STIs every year in the U.S.²

· In 2008, there were an estimated 110 million prevalent STIs among women and men in the U.S.. Of these, more than 20% (22.1 million) were among women and men aged 15 to 24 years.²

· The total estimated direct cost of STIs annually in the U.S. is $15.6 billion (2010 US dollars).³

· In a national survey of US physicians, fewer than one-third routinely screened patients for STDs/STIs (Why is that?—my addition).⁴

· Each year, one in four teens (25%!—my addition) contracts an STD/STI.⁵

· One in two (50%! We have become an immoral people!—my addition) sexually active persons will contract an STD/STI by age 25.⁶

So an obvious conclusion here is: teenagers are pre-disposed to having sex. And I take this a step further: If teenagers weren’t supposed to have sex, God goofed by giving them hormones. Therefore, if teens are to live in harmony with their given nature, and still be in harmony with God’s design for marriage (as expressed here), they need to get married before having sex. So the real culprit in the current STD/abortion dilemma is the culture we live in. IT needs to adapt to God’s design and stop trying to force nature to adapt to its misguided and pleasure-without-responsibility ways (Good luck convincing them of that! They have a right to have sex whenever and wherever they want, according to them!—my addition).

And regarding homosexual activity, there is AIDS. And AIDS was not created by right wing activists … it was created by the Creator of nature. Plus, don’t be fooled by gay phrases like ‘My god is a god of love.’ God is also a God of holiness. And holiness IS an act of love in this case because it protects the feelings and needs of women and children and even of men who are sensitive to their natural feelings. And throughout the PROVEN Bible are God’s feelings about homosexuality (It is a sin!—my addition). For example, in the Old Testament, ‘If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.’ Leviticus 20: 13. And in the New Testament, ‘Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.’ And that ‘due penalty’ is STD’s, including AIDS (I think it is spiritual death and sometimes physical death!—my addition).

In conclusion, if a woman is going to be ‘responsible’ (Men need to be responsible as well!—my addition), she needs to NOT have sex unless a nest has been built … aka a marriage to someone who has been tested to be committed to marriage for a lifetime. And that was how strong women were when I was growing up in the ‘50s. They were very much romance and marriage oriented then. And the invention of ‘the pill’ and Playboy was a big part in derailing that standard by women (Only if they can be manipulated!—my addition). And I say that that kind of commitment by men can’t be relied upon unless it is built on a foundation of a commitment to the God of the Bible.(This is the key! When we move from GOD we move into sin and tragedy! We are slaves to GOD or slaves to sin! The only two choices!—my addition) And that ability to commit is also a requirement for the woman too.

Therefore, any woman who engages in sex irresponsibly is a criminal against nature and nature’s Creator (As is any man!—my addition). That standard has been made very difficult by the current culture’s moral standards as expressed in the entertainment industries and laws (We do not have to follow the sins of others!—my addition). Therefore, modern men and society (and women too) really have no respect for women.
