Wake-up America!!! Who ultimately is in control—GOD or man? Who determines right and wrong—GOD or man? Who controls the weather—GOD or man? Who determines righteousness and sin—GOD or man? Who controls our economy—GOD or man? Who defines good and evil—GOD or man? Who controls what happens to the United States of America—GOD or man?

As a Christian, I believe that there are three crucial issues in this Presidential election. Tonight, part five of a discussion on what I consider to be the number one issue of the campaign: The MURDER of the unborn—one of the most if not the most immoral, profane, debasing actions a person can take against another person.

Barack Obama—Radical Pro-MURDER views

“Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., was the most liberal senator in 2007, according to the National Journal’s 27th annual vote ratings. The insurgent political candidate shifted further to the left last year in the run-up to the primaries, after finishing at the 16th-and 10th-most-liberal during his first two years in the Senate.

“A late-term abortion is planned when the fetus is fully developed, sometimes even into the ninth month of pregnancy. The doctor induces birth in order to abort the baby in the process of birth, but before the baby is born naturally. The goal of a late-term induced labor is to prevent the baby from living outside the mother’s womb, even though the baby is ready to do so. Late-term induced-labor abortions sometimes fail: instead of the doctor aborting the baby as planned, the infant survives.

Obama has consistently refused to support legislation that would define an infant who survives a late-term induced-labor abortion as a human being with the right to live. He insists that no restriction must ever be placed on the right of a mother to decide to abort her child.

More than once, Obama heard Illinois nurse Jill Stanek testify before the Illinois Senate Judiciary Committee, relating the following story of an aborted Down syndrome baby who survived a late-term induced-labor abortion and was abandoned in the hospital’s Soiled Utility Room because the baby’s parents did not want to hold him. ‘I couldn’t bear the thought of this child lying alone in a Soiled Utility Room,’ Stanek testified before Obama’s committee in the Illinois Senate. ‘So, I cradled and rocked him for the 45 minutes that he lived.’ Stanek reported Obama was ‘unfazed’ by the testimony.

On March 30, 2001, Obama was the only Illinois senator who rose to speak against a bill that would have protected babies who survive late-term labor-induced abortions. A transcript of the Illinois Senate session has been archived on the Internet, complete with Obama’s comments as he made them that day on the Senate floor. Obama rose to object that if the bill passed, and a nine-month-old fetus survived a late-term labor-induced abortion was deemed to be a person who had a right to live, then the law would ‘forbid abortions to take place.’ Obama further explained the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment does not allow somebody to kill a child (He’s got that right! What he doesn’t have right is this GOD determined truth: A child that has been conceived is a child—just as intended by GOD—and should absolutely be protected from being MURDERED by his mother or anyone else!!!—my addition), so if the law deemed a child who survived a late-term labor-induced abortion had a right to live, ‘then this would be an anti-abortion statue.’

Not wanting to be the only Illinois state senator to vote against the bill, a move that Obama realized would be politically unpopular with his constituency, he took the easy way out and voted ‘Present.’ In the Illinois Senate, voting ‘Present’ is the equivalent of voting ‘No,’ because a bill must have a majority counting only ‘Yes’ votes to pass.

(“No bill shall become a law without the concurrence of a majority of the members elected to each house.” Illinois State Constitution of 1970, Article IV, § 8. Passage of Bills, (c). That is, in Congress it takes a majority vote of those voting; in the Illinois Senate, it takes a majority vote of the total membership of the Illinois Senate—my addition.)

In 1997, Obama voted in the Illinois Senate against SB 230, a bill designed to prevent partial-birth abortions. In a partial-birth abortion, the baby is delivered feetfirst, so the head remains in the mother’s womb, allowing the courts to maintain that the baby has not yet been born. The doctor then uses surgical instruments to crack the back of the baby’s skull, permitting a suction tube to be inserted, so the baby’s brain can be removed from the body. In the U.S. Senate, Obama has consistently voted to expand embryonic stem cell research. He has voted against requiring minors who get out-of-state abortions to notify their parents. The National Abortion Rights Action League, which prefers to represent itself more euphemistically under its acronym, NARAL, gives Obama a 100 percent score on his pro-choice voting record in the U.S. Senate for 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Obama, who voted against the appointments of John Roberts and Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court, told Planned Parenthood in a speech on July 17, 2007, ‘We’re at a crossroads right now in America—and we have to move this country forward. This election is not just about playing defense, it’s also about playing offense. It’s not just about defending what is, it’s about creating what might be in this country. And that’s what we’ve got to work on together.’

Here, translating this lofty language into specifics, Obama was calling for more Supreme Court justices like Ruth Bader Ginsberg. ‘We need more programs in our communities like the National Black Church Initiative, which empowers our young people by teaching them about reproductive health, sex education and teen pregnancy within the context of the African-American faith tradition.’ Obama said, citing his church, Trinity United Church of Christ, as an example. The right of a woman to demand an abortion is for Obama a political issue of major importance. ‘With one more vacancy on the Court,’ he told planned Parenthood, ‘we could be looking at a majority hostile to a woman’s fundamental right to choose for the first time since Roe v. Wade and that is what is at stake in this election.’ (AMEN!!! Barack Obama realizes that we could be one more Supreme Court Justice away from ending the obscenity of women being allowed to MURDER their UNBORN babies—over 1 million MURDERS a year!!!! Do CHRISTIANS realize this too? This, in itself, is sufficient reason to vote AGAINST Barack Obama!!! WE have an opportunity to STOP the MURDER of UNBORN babies by stopping Barack Obama!!!—my addition)

This was Obama’s argument to the group why he needed to be elected president, to prevent opponents of Roe v. Wade from being appointed as Supreme Court justices.

At a rally in Jamestown, Pennsylvania, on March 29, 2008, Obama referenced his two daughters, ages nine and six, commenting, ‘I am going to teach (“Going to teach?” Isn’t he already teaching them values and morals?—my addition) them first of all about values and morals (The values and morals that it is permissible to MURDER your UNBORN baby?—my addition). But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them PUNISHED (My capitalization—my addition) with a baby.’ Only a pro-abortion radical would conceptualize an unwanted pregnancy as being ‘punished with a baby.’ Even California’s Democratic senator Barbara Boxer, another far-left advocate of abortion, tempered her views and voted for the 2002 Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, when an amendment specified the bill would not otherwise infringe on abortion rights. Obama’s history offers no prospect of compromise on the issue of abortion, since he views a woman’s right to choose as absolute.” (And what is she choosing? To MURDER her UNBORN baby!!! NO ONE has a “right” to MURDER her UNBORN baby!!!—my addition) pages 237-240.

“Thus, in 1789 President Washington issued ‘The First Thanksgiving Proclamation of the United States,’ which he began with these words, ‘Whereas, it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits and humbly implore His protection and favor ….’”

“But the forces of unbelief that have moved in to control American life, would remove every influence of God among us. We are reminded of the statement by William Penn that, ‘If we are not governed by God, we will be ruled by tyrants.’”
