One last item, at this time, about the Vice Presidential candidates. While researching Senator Joseph Biden, I realized that his term of office ends with this year’s Senator term (technically in January of 2009). Out of curiosity, I checked to see who was running for the United States Senate from Delaware in this election—I was particularly interested in the Democratic candidate.

Guess who is running for the United States Senate from Delaware for the Democrats? Why none other than Senator Joseph Biden! Do you think he is running for the Senate too because he’s just not quite certain that he will win the Vice Presidency?

Have you read in your local paper that Senator Biden is running for both the Vice Presidency and for the United States Senate? I haven’t! Do you think that would be a news worthy story?
