Pro-Life, Pro-Abortion, Plan B, CVS Pharmacies: What Can and Can Not Be Sold in a Store?

According to Politics1, there are nine Republicans running for the open Senate seat in Georgia including three current Congressmen. I was going to sit this primary out and let the voters of Georgia decide their candidate. I am not going to officially give support to any one candidate. That being said, Congressman Paul Broun is the only candidate that routinely sends me e-mails. His website is http://www.paulbroun.com/ From what I can tell, he is a true conservative. I received an e-mail from his campaign yesterday that linked this great campaign ad! I had to share it!

“Tobacco-Less CVS Will Continue to Sell ‘Plan B’ Abortifacient

(CNSNews.com)—The CVS drug store chain has announced it will halt the sale of tobacco products in its store beginning in October, but the retailer will continue to sell Plan B: One-Step, an abortifacient that is for sale without prescription to anyone regardless of age (Which was one of the more political decisions of the Obama Administration! Based not on facts, science, or common sense but up the wishes of baby MURDERERS and a Leftist, activist judge!—my addition).

‘Ending the sale of cigarettes and tobacco products at CVS/pharmacy is simply the right thing to do for the good of our customers and our company,’ CVS announced on its website. ‘The sale of tobacco products is inconsistent with our purpose—helping people on their path to better health (However, MURDERING unborn babies is NOT inconsistent with its purpose?—my addition).’

If the company is concerned about public health, why would it continue to sell ‘Plan B: One-Step,’ which can prevent the implantation in the uterus of the developing embryo and thus end a human life (Good question! Does CVS have a good answer?—my addition)? CNSNews.com asked. CNSNews.com also asked about some CVS stores selling alcohol, which causes the death of approximately 88,000 Americans each year, according to the Centers for Disease Control (Don’t bother the company about its inconsistencies! We pleased the President with our decision!—my addition).

CVS spokeswoman Danielle Marcus responded to those questions by e-mail:

‘Smoking is the leading cause of illness and death in the United States, with more than 480,000 deaths every year (NO! abortion/MURDER is the leading cause of deaths in the United States with over one million each and every year! Learn the facts! The MOST dangerous place in America is in a mother’s womb!—my addition),’ Marcus said. ‘Unlike the other products … which are either okay in moderation or are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for specific uses (Plan B is NEVER safe for the unborn child! That is the shield they hide behind! Government approved!—my addition), no amount of tobacco use is safe (Is she sure about that? One cigarette a day is likely to kill someone? My guess is that obesity is more dangerous than 1 cigarette a day! By the way, I hate cigarettes and have only tried them once when I was young and then only 1/3 of one!—my addition).’

When asked specifically about Plan B and its destruction of a developing human embryo, Marcus responded, ‘The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the use of Plan B One-Step as a nonprescription product for all women, regardless of age. As such, CVS/pharmacy [is] complying with FDA guidelines to make [the] product available as an over the counter item without any age or point-of-sale restrictions (The government can not require a company to sell a product! Period! Again, hiding behind the “government shield!”—my addition).’

On the packaging label of ‘Plan B One Step,’ it states that ‘this product works mainly by preventing ovulation (egg release). It may also prevent fertilization of a released egg (joining of sperm and egg) or attachment of a fertilized egg to the uterus (implantation).’ A fertilized egg occurs when an ovum and a sperm combine during fertilization, creating a zygote.

As the Princeton.edu website ‘Life Begins at Fertilization (My use of red. Princeton admits that life begins at conception!—my addition)’ explains, the zygote, ‘formed by the union of an ovum and a sperm (Gr. Zyg tos, yoked together), represents the beginning of the human being. The common expression ‘fertilized ovum’ refers to the zygote.’ (Before We Are Born: Essentials of Embryology and Birth Defects by Keith L. Moore and T.V.N. Persaud, 4th edition, Philadelphia, W.B. Saunders Company, 1993, p. 1.)

Plan B, therefore, can work by preventing the zygote—‘the beginning of a human being’—from attaching to the uterus (implantation) [Of course! It causes abortions/MURDERS!—my addition].

As CNSNews.com reported earlier, in April, Judge Edward Korman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York ordered the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to make the drug available on a non-prescription basis to women ‘of all ages (The activist, Leftist judge!—my addition).’

On June 20, the FDA announced that it had approved the non-prescription sale of Plan B to all women who have ‘reproductive potential’ no matter what their age.

‘On June 10, 2013, [FDA] notified a United States District Court judge in New York of its intent to comply with the court’s April 5, 2013 order instructing the FDA to make levonorgestrel-containing emergency contraceptives available as an over-the-counter (OTC) product without age or point-of-sale restrictions,’ said the announcement.

The Food and Drug Administration, however, also says it does not have any authority to require retailers to carry specific products, including Plan B (Of course it does not!—my addition). Thus, stores remain free to sell or not sell the abortion-inducing drug (Of course they are!—my addition).

If I shopped at CVS, I’d stop! I care where I spend my money!

It is time for all of us who support the morality established by GOD to rebel against the forces of evil! Expose their evil and return to GOD’S word and will!

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

That is why I am working to get the Constitution Party on the ballot in Texas. If we get on the ballot, we will have two Congressional House candidates running and two State candidates running. Getting on the ballot is the first step. Winning elections is the second. Winning elections will grow the Party. The Constitution Party is much more in line with the Tea Party movement than is the Republican Party. And I have been involved with all three!
