I had not planned this post for tonight. However, it goes so very well with comments made on my post of May 7. I wrote concerning libertine Democrats who originally supported and/or voted for our involvement in Iraq: “By the way, have any of you who support these libertines considered this. If they were so easily duped by George Bush who they consider to be unintelligent, what is going to happen when as leaders of our country they have to contend with some of the wily dictators who are now in control in many parts of the world?”
The following political cartoon was published in the Morton Time-News on May 9, 2007, page 4A, the website www.jamesmojonnier.com was given, and it was distributed by DBR Media, Inc. It had four panels with a drawing of Hillary “We are the President” Clinton speaking in each panel. The first panel was captioned “Whitewater Scandal:” with her saying “I had no idea!”, the second was captioned “Bill’s infidelity:” with her declaring “I was Duped!!”, the third panel was captioned “Resolution for the war in Iraq:” with her proclaiming “Bush tricked me!!”, and the fourth was captioned “2008 presidential election:” with her trumpeting “Trust me, I know what is going on.” According to “concocted” (Concocted because it is way too early to take seriously any poll in this area whether or not the polling was done correctly.) polls, Hillary “We are the President” Clinton is the leading Democratic candidate to receive the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.
For those of you who don’t know or remember, the “Whitewater Scandal” involved an investigation in relation to a real estate deal that Bill and Hillary Clinton were associated with. I’m not going to deal with that. I’ve already briefly commented on the original support of the Iraq War in Monday’s post. Therefore, I want to quote a brief section of the book The Truth about Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She’ll Go to Become President by Edward Klein, Penguin Group (USA) Inc., 375 New York, New York 10014, U.S.A., © 2005. This is interesting reading. I would suggest anyone who is considering voting for Hillary “We are the President” Clinton for President first read this book.
“Hillary’s Hall Monitor in the White House, Evelyn Lieberman, a.k.a. Mother Superior, knew when to leave well enough alone.
She adopted a hands-off attitude when Bill Clinton indulged in affairs with women who were labeled ‘safe’ by the First Lady. As a result, several of Bill Clinton’s former girlfriends, who were known as the ‘graduates,’ were given cushy jobs in the White House.” (Chapter 16, page 110.)

According to Edward Klein, Hillary “We are the President” Clinton knew of Bill’s affair with Monica Lewinsky and had her banished to the Pentagon in 1996. According to the Encarta ® article, the affair was first made public in 1998. There are only three basic possibilities: 1) Hillary “We are the President” Clinton had no knowledge of the affair until the news broke publicly in 1998 as she would later claim. 2) She suspected an affair was going on but was not certain. 3) She knew the affair was occurring and lied about it to use it to her political advantage (The poor, unsuspecting wife!).
Which of the three possibilities is the truth? Which of the three possibilities seems most plausible? Who is lying—Hillary or the author? Who do you trust?
