Too busy editorializing to read?

I will not be continuing my Creationism posts today. I do plan to return to them soon.

Then, I plan to answer the response about Iraq. I am sorry for the change in plans. Plans, in reality, often are altered for one reason or another. “The best laid plans … often go astray.” Thank you for your understanding and patience.

How many unborn toddlers were murdered today because of the humanistic, paganish, barbaric decisions of the United States Supreme Court?

Stop the
Murder of
Unborn
Toddlers

The following is the complete article printed in the Peoria Journal Star on August 15, 2007, page A2.

“How much is too much?”—reads the headline for the article.
“Top Army general says 15-month military tours in Mideast too risky”—reads the subheading.

“Washington, D.C. (AP)—The Army’s top general said Tuesday that lengthening U.S. tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan beyond 15 months would be too stressful and risky for troops.

Gen. George Casey also said he didn’t know when officials would be able to cut soldiers’ tours back to 12 months.

‘I don’t see going beyond the 15 months,’ Casey said. ‘I’ve been there in Iraq, I’ve watched the nature of the combat and the stresses and strains that it puts on these soldiers.’

He said the 90-day extension ordered by officials earlier this year can go quickly.

‘Any more than that, it puts our soldiers at a level of stress and a level of risk that right now I’m not comfortable with,’ he told reporters in an appearance at the National Press Club. ‘So it would be very hard for me to recommend going beyond the 15 months and … we want to get down from 15 months as quickly as we can.’”

At the risk of being attacked by those who have already declared me to be an insane idiot who does not know that much, please show me in this article where the “Top Army general says 15-month military tours in Mideast too risky.”?

The article does say that going BEYOND 15 months would be too risky. It also says “I don’t see going BEYOND the 15 months.” It also says “ANY MORE than that … I’m not comfortable with.” It also says that “it would be HARD for me to RECOMMEND going BEYOND the 15 months….” It also says “we WANT to get DOWN from 15 months as quickly as we can.”

However, nowhere in the article did it declare “15-month military tours in Mideast too risky.” If it does, please show me because this insane idiot who does not know that much just can NOT find that statement in the article. Can you? Does that make you an insane idiot too?
