Last night’s post, February 11, 2008, consisted of a letter from Farmers Insurance Group unilaterally closing the claim placed by my client on August 10, 2006. Since Farmers Insurance Group closed the claim, I will not respond to the letter directly.

If I were to respond, I might point out that Farmers Insurance Group may or may not have legal grounds to close the claim but do they have any ethical basis to close the claim? I might also ask if Farmers Insurance Group and its employees in whole or in part have any integrity or positive moral character. What do you think?

I might also point out these verses from the Bible—the WORD of GOD:

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should ALWAYS PRAY and NOT GIVE UP. He said: ‘In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’

Maybe, just maybe, this claim is far from over.

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)
