I will not be continuing my Creationism posts today. I do plan to return to them soon.

Then, I plan to answer the response about Iraq. I am sorry for the change in plans. Plans, in reality, often are altered for one reason or another. “The best laid plans … often go astray.” Thank you for your understanding and patience.

How many unborn toddlers were murdered today because of the humanistic, paganish, barbaric decisions of the United States Supreme Court?

Morton originally was primarily a farming community. My grandparents on my mother’s side operated a farm off of Illinois Route 150 going east toward Bloomington. Any farmer back then or now will tell you that you reap what you sow. If you sow corn, you will reap corn. If you sow wheat, you will reap wheat. That happens every time; all the time.

GOD the creator of all things and the giver of all truth recognizes the same. Except in HIS word—the Bible—HE through the apostle Paul narrowed the scope to only two possibilities—sowing sin or sowing Spiritual righteousness. “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)

The question then becomes: Is increasing the availability and accessibility of wine and beer through grocery store sales an instance of sowing sin or sowing Spiritual righteousness. I know my answer. What will be the answer given by each member of the Board of Trustees? What will they sow?

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)

“‘But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.’” Matthew 12: 36-37 (NIV) If a man must give account of every careless word spoken, how much more will he have to give an account for a decision that may have a terrible negative impact on others?

The choice belongs to each member of the Board of Trustees. Choose wisely!!!

“He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters.” [said by JESUS] Luke 11: 23 (NIV)

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight.” I Corinthians 3: 19a (NIV)

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.” II Timothy 1: 7 (NIV)

“Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.” James 4: 17 (NIV)

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)
