Sharron Angle—Supported by the National Association for Gun Rights
I am a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). However, I dislike some of the candidates that the organization has endorsed. I certainly don’t like the NRA contributing to the Reid campaign which even the Reid campaign has bragged has occurred. Harry Reid, “the war is lost”, should be voted out of office without question!
Unfortunately, it takes money to win elections. Therefore, today’s post:

What does it mean that Sharron Angle answered the National Association for Gun Rights Federal Candidate Survey 100% pro-gun?
It means Sharron will stand up to the anti-gunners in congress and will fight to protect our right to keep and bear arms.
It means she opposes Michael Bloomberg’s ban on private firearm sales.
It means she won’t support the DISCLOSE Act, which would cripple gun rights organizations and silence our opposition to the Obama gun control agenda.
It means she opposes federal firearms registration like H.R. 45—Barack Obama’s National Firearms Registry and Citizen Disarmament Act.
It means she will be a leader in the Senate against Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama’s United Nations Gun Ban.
The latest polling has Sharron Angle running neck-and-neck with Harry Reid.
That's why I want you to join me in giving Sharron Angle a contribution to defeat Harry Reid.

Our contributions will be great news for gun rights, a boost to activists like you and me, but seriously bad news for Harry Reid.
Unfortunately, despite Sharron Angle being 100% pro-gun, and running against one of the most harmful anti-gunners in Congress, the NRA insists upon trying to keep a cozy relationship with Harry Reid (look below to see how that’s turned out). The NRA refuses to support Sharron Angle, but now claims they won’t endorse Harry Reid either.
Big deal.
In fact, the NRA has published articles about how great Harry Reid is, printed photographs (June 2010 American Rifleman) of Reid and NRA leader Wayne Lapierre playing buddy-buddy, and gave Reid’s current campaign almost $5,000 from NRA members’ money, and who knows what other kinds of backroom deals they’ve cut.
They might not call that an endorsement, but that’s just Washington-speak. They’re doing their best to protect Harry Reid, despite his terrible voting record.
Does Harry Reid have an anti-gun voting record?

2) Harry Reid voted for magazine capacity restrictions (5/13/99, senate roll call no. 116)

5) Harry Reid voted for a young adult gun ban (5/13/99, senate roll call no. 115)
6) Harry Reid has supported every anti-gun U.S. Supreme Court nominee offered during his tenure in the U.S. Senate.
And many, many more anti-gun votes.
Doesn’t that look like a record for gun control?
Only a few senators—like Chuck Schumer—have a gun control resume like that.
