“The desperation of the left.

“Kerry is off the liberal message. Instead of calling us hostage takers, jihadists and suicide bombers, Kerry is simply whining.
Unlike John Kerry, the Tea Party movement is made up of real Americans. Unlike John Kerry, we love our country. Unlike John Kerry, real Americans work for a living. Unlike John Kerry, real Americans want the best for our country. Unlike John Kerry, none of us have gone and given aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war. Yes, John, you know what that makes you.
Kerry’s rant is a variation of the typical leftist strategy. Kerry just lacks the intellectual horsepower to follow through with it and make it any more than just a whine.
As I have been in Wisconsin on the Restoring Common Sense tour, I have seen the left in action. The one’s we have seen have more brain cells that John Kerry has, but the strategy is still the same.
The left wants to shut down anyone who disagrees with them. At our first rally on Friday, a contingent of left wing nuts came out. They tried to shout us down and then they mess with the speakers on the sound system. Yesterday, we were supposed to do one of the rallies at a restaurant, but the restaurant got weak kneed because union thugs had come in threatening them if they did not withdraw their permission for the tour to use their parking lot.
For the left, it is all about crushing anyone who dares to speak against them.
Socialism is a jealous god and it will allow no other gods before it. You must either worship at the altar of socialism, or be silenced or destroyed.
This is why socialism and the far left are incompatible with America and liberty and this is why the Tea Party fights back. Real Americans love liberty. These union thugs and far left socialists want to destroy liberty.
The message I have given at these events is simple. ‘I choose liberty!’
If you want to help us fight for liberty in Wisconsin you can. You can join the phone banking efforts. You do not even have to be in Wisconsin. If you want to help, contact the AFP Wisconsin headquarters at (414) 476-7900 or email at infoWI@afphq.org.
Today we launch the third day of the tour. It has been great to meet not only a lot of great Tea Party supporters but at every stop TPN members have come up to me to say hello.
If you can be at one of the rallies today, please do so and stop by and say hello.
Join us and fight. We will not be silenced by Union thugs and we will not be silenced by the whining of John Kerry either.”
If you are a registered voter in one of the Senate districts where an election is being held, be sure to get out and vote. Let your voice be heard! Pray too!!!

Blaming the Tea Party! I’m Ok with that!
So let me get this straight. The Tea Party congressmen offered and eventually pass a bill that S&P says would have allowed them to keep our AAA credit rating. The President and, honestly for me, no one in the Democratic Party even offered a plan. In fact the Senate refused to even vote on the tea party plan. Then everyone had to compromise to insure that our credit rating stayed where it was. It drops anyway and somehow that is the tea party’s fault?
Well maybe we should blame the tea party. Consider an addict that has lost grip with reality and is on the verge of a certain death. An intervention is used to try to get them to face the facts about their addiction. The loved ones gather and tell the addict NO MORE! You must change your ways or we are cutting you off from any and all support that we have been giving you. The addict will blame everyone but themselves, and plead for help from those that enable them.
The Sunday talk shows were an endless parade of the addicts blaming everyone for their addiction, but themselves. The tea party is too dumb to understand that if we don’t spend more money the world will come crashing down. What? Did we all hear these people right? The world economies are fuelled by our spending, but guess what? We lost our jobs and can’t afford to support the rest of you anymore.
At what point will the power and money addicts in Washington understand that we really do care? The Tea Party has to play the role of the adult handing out tough love. This is not a game of chicken. This is a real fight for the life of our country. We must stand firm in our resolve to change the way our government works. We must take the steps necessary to wean the addicts from power. Tough love on our part is going to have to come from standing firm and voting in more people that have a backbone to stand up to the elitist in Washington.
So if they want to blame the TEA PARTY for DOING THE RIGHT THING; I am ok with that. If they want to blame the tea party for standing up and saying NO MORE; I am ok with that too. They can keep blaming me for their inability to curb spending and I will continue to not support their habit anymore. We are done with bailouts, cash for clunkers, endless spending on programs that help no one, and government giveaways that we cannot afford anymore.
It is time to BLAME THE TEA PARTY FOR BEING THE ADULT IN THE ROOM!!!!”
And unfortunately, the ONLY adult in the room. You CAN NOT CURE a SPENDOHOLIC by giving him/her MORE money!!! Such a “compromise” is NOT a compromise at all. It’s CAPITULATION!!! And it NEVER works!!! NEVER!!!

“U.S. loses AAA credit rating from S&P
MARTIN CRUTSINGER
From Associated Press
August 06, 2011 1:25 AM EDT
WASHINGTON (AP)—The lowering of America’s sterling credit rating was the punctuation mark on a tumultuous week in financial markets.
Standard & Poor’s, the credit rating agency, said Friday it was dissatisfied with the plan Congress came up with earlier in the week to reduce the country’s debt. (Not the plan to increase spending, but the plan to REDUCE THE DEBT!!!—my addition)
This is the first time the nation’s credit rating has fallen below the highest level, AAA. The U.S. had held that rating since 1917. The move came just days after a gridlocked Congress finally agreed to spending cuts that would reduce the debt by more than $2 trillion. (OVER TEN YEARS, WHICH IS NONSENSE!!!—my addition)
The drop in the rating by one notch to AA-plus was telegraphed as a possibility back in April. The three main credit agencies, which also include Moody’s Investor Service and Fitch, had warned during the budget fight that if Congress did not cut spending far enough, the country faced a downgrade. Moody’s said it was keeping its AAA rating on the nation’s debt, but that it might still lower it.
One of the biggest questions after the downgrade was what impact it would have on already nervous investors. While the downgrade was not a surprise, some selling is expected when stock trading resumes Monday morning. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 699 points this week, the biggest weekly point drop since October 2008. The weak economy was the primary catalyst behind that plunge, but the debt debate and the threat of a downgrade were also factors.” (The Dow actually fell 634.76 points Monday! Before President Barack Hussein Obama spoke to the nation in the afternoon, the last figure I heard was that it was 307 points down. It fell an additional 300 plus points after he spoke! Why? Because he spoke the same NONSENSE about a “balanced” approach!!! His concept of “balanced?” Raise taxes and continuing spending MORE money than collected!!! Spend your way out of debt!!! INSANITY!!!—my addition)
“S&P said that in addition to the downgrade, it is issuing a negative outlook, meaning that there was a chance it will lower the rating further within the next two years. It said such a downgrade, to AA, would occur if the agency sees smaller reductions in spending than Congress and the administration have agreed to make, higher interest rates or new fiscal pressures during this period.”

“Voters to Congress: We're not buying it
Record-setting disapproval ratings for lawmakers linked to majority’s skepticism about spending cuts

A majority of U.S. voters simply don’t believe it when Congress and the White House say that their agreement over a debt ceiling increase will include $1 trillion in spending cuts over the next decade.
The latest poll from Rasmussen Reports on the debt-ceiling deal struck by Congress and signed by President Obama indicates U.S. voters are not willing to take Washington’s word that the plan is part of a solution to the fiscal mess in which the nation finds itself. (Duh!!! The ONLY meaningful cuts are immediate CUTS and real cuts in the 2011-2012 fiscal year budget!—my addition)
More specifically, only 30 percent thought it ‘likely’ the spending cuts would materialize, while 62 percent believe the federal government will find some way over the next 10 years to escape the legislated reductions. When factoring out respondents identified as in the ‘political class,’ Rasmussen found 69 percent of mainstream voters doubt the cuts will happen.
The poll follows on the heels of at least one legislator, Representative Connie Mack, R-Florida., blasting the promised spending reductions as ‘fantasy cuts.’
‘All of this talk about the cuts, the supposed cuts that happened in this last bill that passed, those aren’t cuts,’ Mack said in an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity earlier this week. ‘Those are fantasy cuts, those are reductions in the rate of growth.’ (Exactly!!! Repeating! THESE ARE REDUCTIONS IN THE RATE OF GROWTH!!!—my addition)
‘And everyone knows if you continue to spend $1.6 trillion more than you bring in, you have to borrow that money, [and] it adds to the debt,’ Mack said. ‘We can’t continue to do that.’
The Budget Control Act of 2011 (Misnomer!!!—my addition), signed by Obama earlier this week, raises the federal government’s debt ceiling by trillions, thus permitting additional deficit spending, but also proposes future expenditures be shaved by $917 billion over the next 10 years and creates a ‘supercommittee’ of lawmakers to find an additional $1.5 trillion in savings.
House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, sold the measure as a success by pointing out the increase in the debt ceiling was matched, dollar for dollar, with spending cuts.
Nonetheless, the federal government will continue to operate at deficit levels, enabled by the Act’s immediate $900-billion debt-ceiling increase, with additional raises of $1.2 trillion and $1.5 trillion possible if certain conditions within the legislation are met.
The budget deal has proven to be significantly unpopular with voters. For example, another Rasmussen poll taken the day the Act was signed found only 22 percent of likely voters nationwide approved of the agreement, while 53 percent disapproved.
The unpopularity of the legislation has also been blamed for record-setting levels of congressional disapproval ratings.
A New York Times/CBS News Poll, for example, found that 82 percent of Americans disapprove of the way Congress has been handling its job, the highest level since the poll began in 1977. More than 80 percent of the poll’s respondents further said the debt negotiations had put scoring political points above helping the country, and nearly 75 percent said the spectacle had diminished America’s image.
Rasmussen’s own polling recently found that just 6 percent of Americans give lawmakers a good or excellent rating, and while Obama’s approval rating is higher (24 percent strongly approve of his work), it, too, is at record lows.
The Rasmussen polls were conducted through telephone surveys of 1,000 likely voters with a reported margin of sampling error at +/- 3 percentage points with a 95-percent level of confidence.”
