Note: I grew up a Democrat. I ran for the Arizona State House of Representatives as a pro-life Democrat and lost the election because the largest paper in Tucson which was a Democrat paper came out against me because I was pro-life. That was the only reason given for not voting for me. In Arizona, two candidates are elected in each House District. Of the four candidates—two Republicans and two Democrats—I was the only pro-life candidate. Both Republicans, who won the election, were pro-abortion/MURDER. The Democrat Party left me because of there insistence upon MURDERING unborn babies. In the “Capable of Feeling Pain” bill only four Democrats in the House voted for it. That was four more than I expected. I suspect all four support abortion/MURDER up to that point but I don’t know for sure. The “pro-life” Democrats in the House sold out unborn babies when they supported Obamacare! They paid for it at the polls in the 2010 election. At the end of the article, I’ll explain what I think pro-life Democrats should do.

Both Senator Lisa Murkowski from Alaska and Senator Mark Kirk from Illinois who are up for reelection in 2016 are pro-MURDER and pro-homosexual behavior!—my addition), the truth is, even a large group of Democrats oppose legalized killing. Democrats for Life of America is calling for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and other presidential contenders to ‘open the Big Tent of the Democratic Party to pro-life voters, and to support neutrality on the issue of abortion in the Democratic Party Platform (It is not going to happen! Pro-abortion/MURDER Democrats are a mainstay of the Democrat Party—as voters, as activists for the party, and as a major source of money! They are in all the leadership positions! Dick Durbin and Jesse Jackson from Illinois were both pro-life at one time! To advance in the party they had to sell their souls to the devil and they did!—my addition).’

The organization notes that currently, the Democratic party supports abortion, as well as taxpayer-funded abortions. They contend this needs to stop (It could but there is only one way it will happen and it is not asking for it to happen!—my addition).

Kristen Day, executive director of Democrats For Life of America, said:

‘Secretary Clinton once recognized that people ‘have deeply held differences of opinion about the issue of abortion, and she said she respected ‘those who believe that there are no circumstances under which any abortion should ever be available (No she does not! Like the President, she LIES!—my addition).’ We are asking candidate Clinton to open that door and issue in a new era of respect and inclusion for Democrats who hold these views. For the good of the party, we must re-open the big tent to include Democrats who support life from conception to natural death (You are wasting your breath!—my addition).’

Democrats for Life of America says the party ‘has alienated its pro-life base.’ She suggests that doing so is a bad political move for Democrats, since many party members support pro-life legislation. Day said:

‘Polls consistently show that about one-third of Democrats—that’s 21 million Democrats—oppose abortion. If we are going to increase our base to win back the majority and keep the White House, our Democratic nominee must recognize the contributions of pro-life Democrats within our party and the diverse position of Democrats on the issue of abortion (Democrat leadership doesn’t believe in diversity!—my addition).’

Democrats For Life of America supports programs and policies that respect and promote life from conception to natural death. This includes, but is not limited to, opposition to abortion, capital punishment, and euthanasia.

The organization notes the following opinions within the Democratic party:

· 61 percent of Democrats support parental consent for minors seeking abortion (Gallup, 2011).

· 60 percent of Democrats support a 24-hour waiting period for women seeking abortion (Gallup, 2011).

· 84 percent of Democrats support informed consent (Gallup, 2011).

· 49 percent of Democrats support an ultrasound requirement (Gallup, 2011).

· 59 percent of Democrats support a ban on partial-birth abortions (Gallup, 2011).

Because of the large number of Democrats who identify as pro-life, the organization says Democrats are not serving their own party by only supporting abortion.
