I will not be continuing my Creationism posts today. I do plan to return to them soon.
Then, I plan to answer the response about Iraq. I am sorry for the change in plans. Plans, in reality, often are altered for one reason or another. “The best laid plans … often go astray.” Thank you for your understanding and patience.
How many unborn toddlers were murdered today because of the humanistic, paganish, barbaric decisions of the United States Supreme Court?

Today, I plan to mail the following questionnaire and letter to each of the Democratic and Republican candidates for the United States Senate race in Illinois. I will then post them in the order I receive them and also before the February primary election. I plan to do the same for select House of Representative Districts in Illinois particularly the 18th Congressional District. (Note: the program did not display the box to be marked for each answer. Sorry!)

Dear Congressional candidate:
My name is Don Vance and I have lived in Morton, Illinois since June of 2004. I have been writing a political blog at http://www.christiangunslinger.blogspot.com/ since July of 2005. This year I have decided to send a questionnaire to all candidates running for Congress from Central Illinois—specifically Districts 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, and for the Senate seat that is up for election. (Okay, the 14th probably is a stretch but I used to live in Kane County so I thought I would include it. Doesn’t the 17th look Gerrymandered?)
I have included with this letter a short questionnaire which I ask that the Congressional candidate personally complete. Each question provides a short space for a comment. If you desire to expand any or all comments beyond the space provided please feel free to do so. Please answer all questions. (I realize that one question applies specifically only to Senatorial candidates but please answer it anyway.)
This is my plan for publication. The questionnaires will be posted on my blog in the order that I receive them. If I have not received a questionnaire from a candidate by January 2, 2008, I will note on my blog that that candidate(s) decided not to reply to the questionnaire. Before the primary I will summarize the answers of each candidate for each office as a group. The first candidate who responds for each office will have a choice of having their answers posted first or last in relation to the other candidates for that office. Please mark your preference below.
If my questionnaire arrives first, please post the pre-election responses:
>>>>>>> first >>>>>>> last
Thank you for your time and for responding to this questionnaire.
Sincerely,
Don L. Vance
