The law

I will not be continuing my Creationism posts today. I do plan to return to them soon.

Then, I plan to answer the response about Iraq. I am sorry for the change in plans. Plans, in reality, often are altered for one reason or another. “The best laid plans … often go astray.” Thank you for your understanding and patience.

How many unborn toddlers were murdered today because of the humanistic, paganish, barbaric decisions of the United States Supreme Court?

Stop the
Murder of
Unborn
Toddlers

“Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.” James 4: 17 (NIV)

I received the following e-mail earlier this week. I’m posting it tonight as it was sent except for some cleaning up of punctuation.

“LAW This is one of the better e-mails I have received in a long time! I hope this makes its way around the USA several times over! So Be It!THE LAW IS THE LAW

So if the U.S. government determines that it is against the law for the words “under God” to be on our money, then, so be it. And if that same government decides that the “Ten Commandments” are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be it.

I say, “so be it,” because I would like to be a law abiding U.S. citizen. I say, “so be it,” because I would like to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.

I would like to think that those people have the American public’s best interests at heart.
BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I’D LIKE?

Since we can’t pray to God, can’t Trust in God and can not post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don’t believe the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.

I’d like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it’s just another day.

I’d like the U.S. Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays. After all, it's just another day.

I’d like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the “Christmas Break.” After all it’s just another day.

I’m thinking that a lot of my tax payer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn’t cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be “politically correct.”

In fact, I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshiping God) because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day.

What do you all think?
If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected officials will stop giving in to the minority opinions and begin, once again, to represent the “majority” of ALL of the American people.

SO BE IT.
Please Dear Lord, Give us the help needed to keep You in our country!
‘Amen’ and ‘Amen’

Touché!

These are definitely things I never thought about, but from now on I will be sure to question those in government who support these changes. At the top it says ‘I hope this makes its way around the USA several times over!’

Let’s see that it does. Keep it in your mailbox and resend it whenever someone new comes along. P.S. In God We Trust & God bless you & yours”

I wasn’t going to comment on this but I decided to. In the examples given, it has not been the U.S. government, as such, who has made the decisions mentioned and probably won’t be the U.S. government in the future—by U.S. government I mean the elected representatives of the people of the nation. It has been an out of control court system which has judges and Justices who believe they know better than our elected representatives what should and what should not be the policies of the nation.

They accomplish what elected representatives would not dare to do because elected representatives realize that voting to remove “under GOD” and similar libertine votes would quite possibly be political suicide although the present Democratic controlled House of Representatives seems to want to do just that. There are constitutionally established controls that can be used to prevent the courts from usurping their authority. Unfortunately, Congress has demonstrated a singular lack of will to rein in the courts. And the libertine Democrats prefer to have the courts destroy our nation instead of doing it themselves.

We need Congressmen who are willing to just say NO to the courts and Senators who demand that judges be appointed to the bench who will follow judicial restraint. If policy is to be made, it should be made by elected representatives of the people not an unelected judiciary. We can stop COURTOCRACY if we have the will!!!
