From: Abortion enslaves women and denies them true equal rights

April 24, 2015 (StandTrue.com)—I recently released a small statement about how abortion is oppressive to women; a couple of people asked me how I can find abortion to be oppressive if it is their free choice, so I decided to expand on my thought (It often is not a free “choice!” However, even if it is, it is an evil choice for that choice makes the mother a MURDERER! It may not make her a murderer in the eyes of the government because of government sanction of it but it does in GOD’S eyes! Man can not remove that fact regardless of what is said or done! Thus, they are always being oppressed unless they are at heart murderers!—my addition).
Here is the original quote that spawned the questions I received: ‘The abolition of abortion is the only true path to equal rights for all women. Abortion is a violent, destructive cycle of oppression against mothers. How can we truly call women ‘free’ when this evil is welcomed into our society (Can not! Too bad Hillary and other Democrats don’t realize this! Or, maybe they do and just do not care!—my addition)?’
Abortion is oppressive because it is a mechanism that allows men to be free of responsibility (Which is why some men support it and use it as their form of birth control! Pregnant? Not my problem! Go get an abortion/MURDER! Here’s half the money!—my addition); they now have an easy out when a woman becomes pregnant (Easy for them! Unless the mother refuses. Then, it can get worse for the mother!—my addition). The problem is that it is only easy for the man; he simply must come up with the money and his part is over. The woman however is the one who must walk into that clinic and undergo a violent and invasive procedure as her pre-born child is dismembered and torn from her body (And she may want to have her baby! Coercion does happen and it seems more often than Democrats want to admit if they admit any coercion!—

It is a so-called ‘choice’ that lies to women and tells them their own child is nothing more than an inconvenience and a parasite. Pregnancy is not a sickness or condition that needs to be fixed, it is the state of being with child (Indeed! It should be a joy for a life has been created!—my addition). When a woman is pregnant she is not pregnant with a ‘potential human being’, she is pregnant with an actual human being (a person!—my addition) in the earliest stages of that human’s development cycle (We ALL developed in the same way!—my addition).

In the very definition of a parasite you see it is an organism of another species. A child in the womb is the offspring of the mother carrying that child (Of course!—my addition); another word for offspring is fetus, which is more commonly used to refer to the child. The mother’s body is not merely a host but actually is designed to nurture and protect that child until birth (Protect! The womb is a source of protection!—my addition); any attack on that child is an unnatural and violent act (It is MURDER!—my addition).
Abortion is a lie that tells women to sacrifice their own child and then robs them of one of the most amazing parts of being a woman, motherhood (Isn’t that strange! Women were provided the privilege of giving birth to a new creation—her and her husband’s own child!—my addition). The bond between mother and child is such a special connection; abortion destroys that bond and denies the mother and child of their relationship (Abortion MURDERED her child, her baby! I’m sorry. I simply can imagine why anyone would ever MURDER their own child whether within the womb or outside the womb! Why? Flesh of your flesh! Bone of your bone!—my addition).

Abortion enslaves women to a world where men can dominate and control them so the man can be free. It is sad that men have been able to turn the argument around and make women think it is about their freedom when it is about men not having to be men and raise and support their child (And this is the dirty little secret about abortion/MURDER! The reason most men who support abortion/MURDER do so is because it relieves them of RESPONSIBILITY!—my addition). Men scare women into thinking abortion is their only option and as a man I am disgusted by the oppression other men have put on them by pushing women to kill (MURDER!—my addition) their own children.
I have sat outside abortion facilities for over 20 years watching men as they push women in the doors, ignoring the tears and obvious distress. Others will drop them off in front of the clinic and proceed then park on the street eating fast food, smoking and talking on the phone while the woman is alone inside the abortion clinic. I have watched fathers take their own daughters and granddaughters into the abortion clinic because they are more concerned about perceived shame than the life of their own grandchild.
I know not all women who go into abortion clinics are there because a man is pressuring them. Many of them are there because a man did not step up in any way. Many of them are there because a men and society have told women that having a baby outside of wedlock will hold them back in life. Many are there because our churches have failed to provide a safe, loving environment for women who are pregnant and need help and support (And there are women who simply do not want a child! Do not put it on everyone or everything else but the woman! That is not accurate!—my addition.

Whatever the reason is, the fact remains that abortion is an unnatural response to one of nature’s most precious gifts to women. Abortion is does not affirm women, it reduces their pregnancy to a disease that needs a cure (Which it NEVER is and NEVER does!—my addition). Abortion does not free women; it holds them in bondage to a society that teaches women that killing their child is a form of love and mercy (It also makes them a MURDERER!—my addition).
I would say that the true freedom of a woman is the freedom to be a mother without shame, without scrutiny and without men pressuring them to ‘fix it’ or ‘get it taken care of’. The beauty of motherhood and childbirth should be celebrated and looked at as one of the greatest achievements of womanhood. The last time I checked, there is not a man on earth who can even come close to this achievement.
So I will repeat my statement and stand by it: ‘The abolition of abortion is the only true path to equal rights for all women (True!—my addition). In the United Kingdom, new data reveals that hundreds of children were admitted to the hospital last year after being born brain damaged following exposure to alcohol in the womb. According to the Daily Mail, 272 babies were left disabled because of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) in England over the past 12 months (This does not include the number of children who were aborted/MURDERED while still in the womb because the mother’s doctor said the baby would have such damage!—my addition). However, it is likely that this number is much higher because researchers at the World Health Organization have found that at least one in 100 babies born in the UK could suffer from the syndrome (Could? I do not like this type of supposition!—my addition).
In the United States, the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (NOFAS), reports that alcohol use during pregnancy is the leading known cause of developmental disability and birth defects. Additionally, the Institute of Medicine says that of all the substances of abuse (including cocaine, heroine, and marijuana), alcohol produces by far the most serious neurobehavioral effects to the unborn baby (Don’t drink and Drive. Don’t drink and have a baby! It just makes sense that what a mother consumes also has some effect on the baby that is developing in the womb! Could this be an aspect of abortion/MURDER that increases the possibility of an abortion/MURDER. The mother knows that if the baby has an abnormality, she can always choose to abort/MURDER her child? Sort of a “fail safe” choice that means she does not have to stop drinking because she has the option of an abortion/MURDER!—my addition).
Elizabeth Mitchell, from NOFAS, said, ‘Children born with the syndrome don’t get better. They are brain damaged. It is an enormous problem and one that is terribly sad and vastly under-diagnosed.’ Additional medical issues related to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome include cerebral palsy, heart liver and kidney problems, epilepsy and vision loss. Tragically, some of these children suffer from severe neurological effects and will never be able to live normal lives.
For example, 15-year-old Niamh Brown was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and needs help getting dressed, has no sense of danger, and will never be able to live independently. When she was three-years-old, she was adopted but her parents immediately noticed something was wrong. She struggled with school, had difficulty paying attention and even holding a pencil during class. Then, when she was five, she was diagnosed with FAS from her birth mother’s drinking.
Professor of pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Dr. Frederick Palmer, said the severity of the health issues related to maternal alcohol use depends on the frequency and timing of consumption. He said, ‘The underlying thing is if you don’t drink while pregnant, you cannot have a child with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder or any effects of alcohol (That is true! Therefore, STOP drinking before you get pregnant! DO NOT abortion/MURDER as a “fail safe” system! Be responsible for your sake and for your baby’s sake!—my addition), and that’s a fairly open-and-shut case.’
Although these facts and statistics about drinking during pregnancy should be alarming, it’s a bit of a double standard that we’re so concerned with the health of unborn babies when we kill them in abortions. As LifeNews previously reported, there have been multiple media campaigns to raise awareness about FAS, yet the pro-abortion lobby consistently supports dismembering babies in abortions (That is their business!—my addition).
Of course, we shouldn’t stop being outraged by alcohol abuse during pregnancy, but instead both alcohol abuse and abortion should outrage us because both threaten human life. But unfortunately, with abortion, a baby’s life isn’t just threatened—it’s taken away permanently.”

It seems that one pro-abortion Texas legislator knows that and has moved to replace the words unborn child with fetus in state laws and informed consent information that women must receive prior to an abortion (What took the Left so long? No one uses the term baby while the baby is in the womb unless they are talking about a princess or movie star. They haven’t yet gotten to the point of saying “She is going to have a fetus!” However, otherwise it is required to always avoid saying unborn or preborn baby!—my addition).
House Bill 708 is sponsored by Jessica Farrar (D-Houston) that Texas Right to Life is opposing. Calling the measure ‘dehumanizing,’ Texas Right to Life said.
‘‘Fetus’ is a scientifically accurate term to describe preborn children at a certain stage of their development; the term is identical in meaning to ‘unborn child.’ But the abortion lobby and anti-Life legislators like Farrar have a vested interest in stopping any and all public acknowledgments of the humanity of the reborn (Can not defend the MURDER of unborn babies with facts!—my addition). Therefore, they and the abortion lobby have insisted for decades that preborn children be referred to by the Latin, ‘fetus,’ instead of the word’s English translation. Likewise, the abortion industry refers to preborn children as ‘pregnancies,’ ‘products of conception,’ and ‘tissue,’ an intentional effort to muddle the reality of children in utero. This semantics game is really the abortion lobby’s only remaining effective means of dehumanizing the preborn (It only was always the only method they could use—misdirection and misinformation!—my addition).’
The act is presented as ‘relating to the medical accuracy of informational materials given to a woman seeking an abortion (MURDER of an unborn child!—my addition).’ What it does is cross out every instance of ‘unborn child’ in the document and replace it with ‘fetus (How did we manage to get unborn child in the law in the first place? That’s right! We are the majority! Has that changed?—my addition).’ It looks more like a nitpicky copy editor who has preferences to use one word than it does any effective use of taxpayer money and legislators’ time to debate (That does not bother Democrats!—my addition). Farrar’s efforts to dehumanize a preborn baby are aligned with the agenda of the abortion industry who tries to remove all humanity from the human inside the womb in order to manipulate women to kill (MURDER!—my addition) their own children in the name of choice.

‘Fortunately, the majority of legislators see through the abortion lobby’s thinly-veiled attempt to regain the ground they have lost in the last few legislative sessions. Pro-Life lawmakers proudly displayed their own ‘former fetus’ status in a highly-publicized solidarity campaign at the Capitol last month. Several legislators affixed former fetus signs on their doors and nameplates in the state capitol, demonstrating their commitment to protect unborn children and pregnant women. The majority of legislators are unlikely to support HB 708 since many of them voted for HB 15 in 2003, Texas law on informed consent before an abortion that included the materials that Farrar wants to change.’
Instead, HB 708 becomes another futile attempt to grasp at a straw by altering rhetoric. The thing is, it’s hard to change the truth of when life begins when a preborn baby’s heart is beating often before a woman knows she is pregnant. There is not now, there never has been, and there never will be a right to MURDER your own child!—my addition),’ ‘have to be changed (Really! Who is she to determine this? Is she rejecting the word of GOD? Does she really believe that she knows better than GOD?—my addition).’
‘Yes, we’ve cut the maternal mortality rate in half (Who is we? What does this have to do with MURDERING your own children?—my addition), but far too many women are still denied critical access to reproductive health (Left code words for MURDERING your own children! It has nothing to do with the health of the mother! It destroys through MURDER the health of the baby including female babies! More females are MURDERED through abortion than by any other method! More females are MURDERED through abortion than are males! Who is carrying on a War on Women? Women and the Leftists who support these MURDERS!—my addition),’ Hillary told the Women in the World Summit yesterday.
Liberal politicians use ‘reproductive health’ as a blanket term that includes abortion. However, Hillary's reference echoes National Organization for Women (NOW) president Terry O’Neill's op-ed from last May that called abortion ‘an essential measure to prevent the heartbreak of infant mortality (Seriously! That is one of the most ludicrous statements I have every read! Is she serious or just delusional?—my addition).’
The Democratic presidential hopeful added that governments should throw the power of state coercion behind the effort to redefine traditional religious dogmas (Seriously! Dogmas? Such as “Thou shalt not murder?”—my addition).
‘Rights have to exist in practice, not just on paper (There is no right to murder one’s own child!—my addition). Laws have to be backed up with resources, and political will,” she said. ‘Deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs, and structural biases (What biases?—
my addition) have to be changed (Hillary decides what religious beliefs have to be changed? What arrogance!—my addition).’
The line received rousing applause at the feminist conference, hosted in Manhattan's Lincoln Center by Tina Brown.
She also cited religious-based objections to the HHS (Health and Human Services—my addition) mandate, funding Planned Parenthood, and the homosexual and transgender agenda as obstacles that the government must defeat (Government must defeat anything she disagrees with? Really?—my addition).
‘America moves ahead when all women are guaranteed the right to make their own health care choices (Murdering your own child is NOT a health choice!—my addition), not when those choices are taken away by an employer like Hobby Lobby (Who is forcing anyone to work for Hobby Lobby? If an employee does not like the health insurance provided, quit the job! Problem solved! Since when do employees determine the benefits provided by the employer?—my addition),’ she said. The Supreme Court ruled last year that closely held corporations had the right to opt out of the provision of ObamaCare requiring them to provide abortion-inducing drugs, contraceptives, and sterilization to employees with no co-pay—a mandate that violates the teachings of the Catholic Church and other Christian bodies (Obamacare is unconstitutional as well as this provision!—my addition).
Clinton lamented that ‘there are those who offer themselves as leaders ... who would defund the country’s leading provider of family planning (leading MURDEROUS organization in the country!—my addition),’ Planned Parenthood (Planned MURDERHOOD should never get a dime of government money!—my addition), ‘and want to let health insurance companies once again charge women just because of our gender (Charge for what? That which women use that men do not? Could that be the reason? Should it be free just because of their sex? What happened to treat us as equals? Except when we want it free!—my addition).’
‘We move forward (Deeper into immorality!—my addition) when gay and transgender women are embraced ... not fired from good jobs because of who they love or who they are (What nonsense! Talk about creating straw man arguments!—my addition),’ she added.
It is not the first time the former first lady had said that liberal social policies should displace religious views. In a December 2011 speech in Geneva, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said perhaps the ‘most challenging issue arises when people cite religious or cultural values as a reason to violate or not to protect the human rights of LGBT citizens (No one has the right to sin, Hillary! Not even you! Not even Bill!—my addition).’ These objections, she said, are ‘not unlike the justification offered for violent practices towards women like honor killings, widow burning, or female genital mutilation (What nonsense!—my addition).’
While opinions on homosexuality are ‘still evolving,’ in time ‘we came to learn that no [religious] practice or tradition trumps the human rights that belong to all of us (How she does misuse the term “right!” There is no right to be involved in homosexual behavior! Hillary, does government give us our rights or does GOD?—my addition).’
Her views, if outside the American political mainstream, have been supported by the United Nations (Not a surprise!—my addition). The UN Population Fund stated in its 2012 annual report that religious objections to abortion-inducing drugs had to be overcome.(Why? And who are they to determine that?—
my addition) According to the UNFPA report, ‘‘duty-bearers (Duty-bearers?—my addition)’ (governments and others)’ have a responsibility to assure that all forms of contraception—including sterilization and abortion-inducing ‘emergency contraception’—are viewed as acceptable (Why?—my addition)—‘But if they are not acceptable for cultural, religious or other reasons, they will not be used.’
Two years later, the United Nations’ Committee on the Rights of the Child instructed the Vatican last February that the Catholic Church should amend canon law ‘relating to abortion with a view to identifying circumstances under which access to abortion services may be permitted (Seriously! What arrogance!—my addition).’
At Thursday’s speech, Hillary called the legal, state-enforced implementation of feminist politics (Feminist politics?—my addition) ‘the great unfinished business of the 21st century,’ which must be accomplished ‘not just for women but for everyone—and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.’
‘These are not just women’s fights (Then why are they called feminist policies?—my addition). These have to be America’s fights and the world’s fights (Why?—my addition),’ she said. ‘There’s still much to be done in our own country, much more to be done around the world, but I’m confident and optimistic that if we get to work, we will get it done together (What is it?—my addition).’
American critics called Clinton’s suggestion that a nation founded upon freedom of religion begin using state force to change religious practices unprecedented.
‘Never before have we seen a presidential candidate be this bold about directly confronting the Catholic Church’s teachings on abortion,’ said Bill Donohue of the Catholic League.
‘In one sense, this shows just how extreme the pro-abortion caucus actually is (True!—my addition),’ Ed Morrissey writes at HotAir.com. ‘Running for president on the basis of promising to use the power of government to change ‘deep seated cultural codes [and] religious beliefs’ might be the most honest progressive slogan in history (And arrogant!—my addition).’
