I will not be continuing my Creationism posts at this time. I do not plan to get to them until sometime later this year. I do plan to discuss Iraq but not until later this year. I am sorry for the change in plans. Plans, in reality, often are altered for one reason or another. “The best laid plans … often go astray.” Thank you for your understanding and patience.
How many unborn toddlers were murdered today because of the humanistic, paganish, barbaric decisions of the United States Supreme Court?

I have a habit of cutting out news stories from the newspaper and throwing them into a box unsorted. I was going through one such box yesterday and came across a news story with the following headline—“Jobless rate lowest in 5 years.” The date of the article was November 4, 2006 and the article was on page A8 of the Peoria Journal Star. The jobless rate at that time according to the story was 4.4%.
The next week, November 7, 2006 was election day for Congressional members. The voting public was so dissatisfied with the majority control of Congress by the Republicans that they threw the rascals out electing Democratic majorities for both the House and the Senate.
Article I, Section 1, ¶ 1 of the United States Constitution declares: “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”
Article I, Section 7, ¶ 1 of the United States Constitution states: “All Bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other bills.”
Article I, Section 8, ¶ 1 of the United States Constitution proclaims: “The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts, and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;”
Article I, Section 8, ¶ 18 of the United States Constitution provides: “To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.”
After the election of 2006 with the Democrats in control of both the House and the Senate, the unemployment rate began to increase. Consequently, two years later in the election of 2008, the voting public satisfied with the majority control of Congress by the Democrats threw more of the minority rascal Republicans out electing even greater Democratic majorities for both the House and the Senate. The voting public also elected a Democratic President giving the Democrats control of both Congress and the Presidency.
The headline in the Peoria Journal Star on February 27, 2009, page A8 declares “U.S. jobless claims top 5 million.” The sub-headline proclaims “Number hits highest level since record-keeping began four decades ago.” The voting public voted a majority of Democrats into Congress in 2006 and increased that majority in both Houses in 2008.
According to an article in the Peoria Journal Star February 27, 2009, page A2 the following is fact:
“Behind the billions”
“There has been a dizzying eruption of big numbers from Washington lately. Here are some of them.
$3.55 trillion: That’s the total of the spending blueprint President Barack Obama sent to Congress on Thursday for budget year 2010.
$1.75 trillion: That’s a negative number, the deficit by which the White House predicted spending for 2009 will exceed revenues. (That is almost ½ of the total 2010 budget—my addition)
$410 billion: That’s the size of the spending legislation passed by the House on Wednesday, largely along party lines, to cover government operations for the remainder of the 2009 budget year.
$787 billion: That’s the total price tag on a two-year stimulus bill Obama signed last week. (The first of more to come?—my addition)
$275 billion: That’s the maximum (for now?—my addition) of what Obama pledged last week to combat home foreclosures.
$700 billion: That’s the size of the financial bailout legislation passed by Congress last October.
$17.4 billion: That’s how much automakers General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC received in January.
$10.84 trillion: That was the size of the national debt—the cumulative total of the federal government’s annual budget deficits—as of Thursday.
$35,436: That’s every person’s individual share of the national debt when the debt is divided by the U.S. population.”
And another figure from the same paper, the same date, page A8.
$30.9 billion: That’s General Motors Corp’s loss last year.
The voting public got what they voted for. GO FIGURE!
As President Lincoln has been given credit for saying “You can fool some of the people all the time and all the people some of the time; but you can’t fool all the people all the time.”
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6: 7-8 (NIV)
