Religious liberty is front and center on the nation’s Thanksgiving table. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court agreed to hear Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores Inc. The family-owned craft store company is intrepidly challenging the constitutionality of Obamacare’s abortion coverage mandate (Clearly unconstitutional!—my addition). Hobby Lobby’s faithful owners deserve our thanks and praise as they defend freedom of conscience for all Americans.

The privately held retail chain’s story is the quintessential American Dream. Founder David Green started out making mini picture frames in his Oklahoma garage in 1970. He recruited his two sons, Mart and Steve, to pitch in at an early age. The family’s first establishment took up a tiny 300 square feet of retail space. Hobby Lobby now runs nearly 600 stores across the country, employs 13,000 people and topped $2 billion in sales in 2009.The Greens’ Christian faith is at the heart of how they do business. They are dedicated to integrity and service for their customers and their employees. The debt-free company commits to ‘honoring the Lord in all we do by operating the company in a manner consistent with biblical principles,’ as well as ‘serving our employees and their families by establishing a work environment and company policies that build character, strengthen individuals and nurture families (As ideal a company as sinful man can devise!—my addition).’

The company donates more than 10 percent of its income every year to charity. All stores are closed on Sundays to allow employees more family and worship time. It’s the company’s dedication to biblical principles that led Hobby Lobby in April to raise full-time employees’ starting minimum wage to $14 an hour at a time when many other firms have been forced to slash both wages and benefits (And without government interference!—my addition).’

We believe that it is by God’s grace that Hobby Lobby has endured, and he has blessed us and our employees,’ CEO David Green pointed out. ‘We’ve not only added jobs in a weak economy; we’ve raised wages for the past four years in a row. Our full-time employees start at 80 percent above minimum wage.’

Many of Hobby Lobby’s employees are single moms working two jobs. Green doesn’t need federal mandates to tell him how to treat and retain good employees. He does it because it is the ‘right thing to do.’ While countless businesses have been forced to drop health insurance for their shrinking workforces during the Age of Obama, Hobby Lobby headquarters opened an onsite comprehensive health care and wellness clinic in 2010 with no co-pays.

Hobby Lobby employees are covered under the company’s self-insured health plan, which brings us back to the company’s legal case. Last September, Hobby Lobby sued the feds over Obamacare ‘preventive services’ mandate, which forces the Christian-owned-and-operated business to provide, without co-pay, abortion-inducing drugs including the ‘morning after pill’ and ‘week after pill’ in their health insurance plan. The company risked fines up to $1.3 million per day for defying the government’s coercive abridgement of their First Amendment rights (A clear violation of the Constitution by a corrupt and tyrannical executive branch of the federal government!—my addition).

As Lori Windham, senior counsel for the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, which is representing Hobby Lobby in its court battles, said at the time: ‘Washington politicians cannot force families to abandon their faith just to earn a living (True!—my addition). Every American, including family business owners like the Greens, should be free to live and do business according to their religious beliefs (True!—my addition).’ Amen.

This summer, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals exempted Hobby Lobby from the abortion mandate and allowed the business to avoid those crippling fines while pursuing its case. Now, the Supreme Court will decide whether Democratic Party pandering trumps bedrock constitutional principles (Which is exactly the issue!—my addition).

Planned Parenthood femme-a-gogues, Senate Democratic leaders, Christian-bashing celebs and atheist bullies immediately attacked Hobby Lobby for ‘denying women access to birth control (They do NOT have the right for other people or businesses to pay for them!—my addition).’ The lies and religious persecution, especially on the eve of America’s national holiday commemorating the pilgrims’ escape thereof, are unconscionable. Hobby Lobby’s company health insurance plan covers 16 of the 20 FDA-approved contraceptives required under the Obamacare mandate—at no additional costs to employees. What Hobby Lobby refuses to do is to be forced to cover abortifacients that violate the owners’ faith and conscience (Abortion—baby MURDERING—drugs!—my addition).

Every employee is aware of the founders’ history, devout work ethic and faith. No one is forced to work at Hobby Lobby. If workers want birth control (They are more than birth control! They MURDER babies!—my addition), they can pay for it themselves. (And unlike so many other service workers, they have more take-home pay to spend on the ‘preventive services’ of their choice.)

The intolerant control freaks at the White House took to Twitter right after the Supreme Court announcement to pile on the pander to the Sandra Fluke/Lena Dunham wing of the Democratic Party. ‘Birth control should be a woman’s decision, not her boss’s (And NOT the government’s! The government has NO authority to require businesses to provide anything to its workers! That is between the owner(s) and the employees! The government is being tyrannical! Nothing new about that with the Obama Administration! They seem to think government through them is god! It is NOT!—my addition),’ Team Obama tweeted. That’s precisely the argument against federally mandated health care benefits enforced by government in violation of religious liberty and subsidized by employers and taxpayers against their will. Let’s pray the Supreme Court sees the light (At least five! Four are going to side with Obama because they do not care about the Constitution!—my addition).”

Of course, all seven, as Democrats, are pro-MURDER in their voting records although back home they may claim otherwise!

An Indiana abortion practitioner received national attention in September when pro-life groups digging through state records discovered that he failed to file a timely report on the abortion he did on a 13-year-old girl who was victimized by statutory rape.

Now, a new report about abortion practitioners statewide shows he’s not alone. At least four Indiana-based abortion doctors waited weeks or even months to report abortions they did on girls under the age of 14, who are victims of rape.

State law requires such reports three days following the abortion to protect girls from sexual abuse and victimization, but the report by the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel newspaper makes it clear there is a massive abuse of the system taking place as abortion clinics cover up rape to make money from abortions.

State records reveal that the doctor who appears to have ignored the law most often is the sole abortion practitioner in St. Joseph County, who also works at clinics doing abortions in Allen and Lake counties.

‘Doctors in the state have reported at least 12 abortions to girls under 14 since July 2011, records show. But in seven of those cases, the doctors did not file reports until several weeks —in one incident, it was six months (And, no doubt, there were more that were never reported!—my addition)—after the procedure. In two other cases, it was unclear when the reports were filed because state records are incomplete.

The reports came from St. Joseph, Allen, Monroe, Marion and Lake counties. The Tribune obtained them through public records requests. The reports include the first half of 2013 for St. Joseph County, but complete 2013 data for other counties is not yet available.

Prosecutors and child safety advocates say timely reporting of young teen abortions is critical to the investigations of possible abuse (By law, it is statutory rape if the mother is under age 14! Any failure to report, as required by law, should be actively prosecuted! This is to protect the girl from further abuse, to determine if there are other victims, and to prosecute the rapist! Where are the DAs? Where is the medical board? Where is the outrage that young girls are being raped? Is this not a “War on Young Girls?”—my addition).

‘What we know is that some sex offenders have more than one victim,’ said Jennifer Pickering, spokeswoman for Prevent Child Abuse St. Joseph County. ‘The sooner the opportunity arises to investigate, the sooner DCS can get involved and the sooner you can assure that girl is safe and determine if there are any other victims.’

At least three abortions since 2011 performed by Dr. Ulrich Klopfer, the only abortion provider in St. Joseph County, were reported well past the three-day window, according to Department of Health reports.

In one case, he performed an abortion on a 13-year-old girl at the South Bend Women’s Pavilion on January 25, 2013, but state records disclose that the procedure wasn’t reported until July 25, six months later. The girl was in high school and nine weeks pregnant, according to Klopfer’s estimates on the report.

Klopfer, an Illinois-based doctor who provides abortions in Lake, St. Joseph and Allen counties, has formal complaints against him for failing to immediately report two other abortions provided to girls under 14—one in Lake County in 2012 and another in Allen County in 2013. Both were 13-year-old girls, and both were 11 weeks pregnant, according to the terminated pregnancy reports.’

Allen County Right to Life, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, filed complaints in September with the Indiana Attorney General’s office and the Indiana Medical Licensing Board.

The report shows that a 13-year-old had an abortion performed by Dr. Ulrich Klopfer, of the Fort Wayne Women’s Health Organization abortion facility, on February 7. The Indiana Department of Health reported receiving the report on July 25, not within three days of the abortion procedure as specified by law.

ACRTL’s Cathy Humbarger told LifeNews that her group filed complaints along with sidewalk counselor Evelyn Witte.

‘It’s heartbreaking to learn that a 13-year-old became pregnant and now must live with the pain of an abortion for the rest of her life, but it’s doubly-heartbreaking that Dr. Klopfer’s failure to report the abortion may have allowed the girl’s molester to walk free,’ she said.

‘In Indiana, sex with a person under 14 is recognized as child molesting, regardless of the male’s age. No 13-year-old should have their childhood ripped out from under them like this young girl had. I call on the Attorney General to immediately investigate Dr. Klopfer’s failure to report this abortion. Sadly, this is not the first time I have filed a complaint over Klopfer’s failure to report an abortion on a 13-year-old within the time frame required by law yet he still practices today [The Attorney General for Indiana is Greg Zoeller (Republican). His failure to report is appalling (What else could one expect from a baby MURDERER?—my addition),” she continued.”

Unfortunately, I would not be surprised to learn that this is common practice within all the States! And too often doctors are protected by the States even with laws on the book requiring timely reporting! This is an area where the law should be vigorously enforced!

In 2009, Christian author Randy Alcorn updated his book “Pro-life Answers to Pro-Choice Arguments” Pro-Life Answers to Pro-Choice Arguments is a powerful pro-life tool which provides answers to the most common pro-choice slogans and arguments. The book is full of facts. I wanted to share the following story, on page 97.

‘A pro-life speaker was detained by police for carrying with him the preserved body of an aborted baby. He was told it was illegal to transport human remains across state lines without special permission (Of course, a MURDERED unborn baby is a human!— my addition). When he realized that this meant the state would have to argue in court that the bodies of aborted babies are in fact human remains, he welcomed prosecution (My use of red—my addition)! The state dropped the charges. Though they knew these were human remains, how could a state that defends and funds abortions publicly admit—much less attempt to prove—that abortion kills human beings (Which State?—my addition)?’

Leaving aside the question of whether the use of preserved bodies of abortion victims to promote the pro-life message is appropriate, it is very interesting that police would detain this activist and charge him not with transporting ‘medical waste,’ or ‘human tissue,’ but with transporting ‘human remains.’

Can you imagine what would’ve happened had the charges gone to trial? Obviously, the (presumed) pro-choicers behind the accusation realized how counterproductive such a trial would be. It would have revealed that pro-choicers really do know that unborn babies are people, not simply ‘products of conception (They know it! They always have! They lie!—my addition).’

The government has a very contradictory set of laws about abortion. On the one hand, abortion is legal, and thousands are done every day. Yet when a woman is assaulted and her unborn baby killed, the assailant can be charged with ‘fetal homicide (Which are fought by pro-MURDERERS because they realize the contradiction! That is also why they do not fight to stop gendercide!—my addition).’ In one recent case, a 21-year-old Kentucky man was charged with attempted homicide after kicking and beating his pregnant girlfriend. In Minnesota, a man who killed his pregnant wife and is being charged with the death of both her and her unborn child claims that the murder of the unborn child was a case of abortion, not murder (Right! He is an abortionist not a murderer! Oops! An abortionist IS a MURDERER!—my addition). There have been many other cases.

Despite the fact that pro-choicers have been claiming that an unborn baby is not a human being for over 40 years now, many people intuitively know that humans become pregnant with humans, not cats or horses or something else, and that aborted babies are not just ‘tissue (They should have been taught that in their high school biology class! I was!—my addition).’ Situations like the one documented by Randy Alcorn show that the pro-life message is getting across even to the people who most support abortion.

Update: The ban on the MURDER of unborn babies after 20 weeks in Albuquerque, New Mexico failed to pass Tuesday.

Positive News: The Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision decided to not block the new Texas law putting restricts on abortion clinics while the case is being appealed. This may be an indication of the Court vote when the case finally reaches the Supreme Court. Of course, constitutionally the case should have begun in the Supreme Court, in the first place.

Although the late-term abortion ban in Albuquerque failed last night by a 10 percentage-point margin, pro-life advocates say the pro-life movement can take heart. Despite being outspent by a 4-1 margin by Planned Parenthood and abortion activists, the 20-week abortion ban fared better with voters in New Mexico’s largest city than Mitt Romney did against Barack Obama.

If any conservatives say the pro-life issue is a losing issue compared to moderate candidates, they need only look at the results of the vote on the late-term abortion ban to see that pro-life issues fare better than moderate Republicans.

Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser told LifeNews pro-life people can be proud of their efforts.

‘Months ago, most Albuquerque residents had no idea their city had become a national hub for late abortion. Local pro-life activists took action to educate their neighbors and ended up gathering 27,000 signatures—more than twice the amount necessary—for a city ballot initiative to stop late abortion,’ she said. ‘Planned Parenthood and other national pro-abortion groups, including Organizing for America, saw this spontaneous grassroots effort as a mortal threat and spent $1 million to defeat it.

‘Despite being outspent four to one, pro-life grassroots activists were able to educate thousands of citizens about fetal pain and the reality of late abortion. This was no small feat in a deep blue city that chose Barack Obama over Mitt Romney by a 15-point margin,’ she said.

Dannenfelser continued: ‘There remains growing national consensus that babies and women should be protected from dangerous late abortions after 20 weeks (Babies should be protected from conception through birth as should mothers. The real “War on Women” is being waged against the hundreds of thousands of female unborn babies who are being MURDERED each year. It is being waged by the Democrat Party and others who have a huge monetary stake in MURDERING the unborn! Who said Democrats and progressives are opposed to profit? They love profit when they are the ones profiting! Do you really believe they support MURDER for the “good of the children,” for the “good of the mothers,” for the “good of the nation?” Seriously? It is their own greed! MURDER is profitable! Just look at all the money they spent to protect their cash cow!—my addition). Thirteen states and the U.S. House of Representatives have all passed similar protective legislation and the bill introduced this month by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) already has 40 Senate cosponsors (All Republicans although four Republicans refused to co-sponsor. Those four are Susan Collins (R-Maine), Dean Heller (R-Nevada), Mark Kirk (R-Illinois), and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska)—my addition). She told LifeNews that her groups and pro-life advocates collectively ran $100,000 in television and online ads, including one featuring former abortionist turned pro-life OB/GYN Dr. Anthony Levatino of Santa Fe. She said SBA List sent out 70,000+ early voting information mail pieces, mailed 30,000+ absentee ballot applications and 48,000 GOTV (Get out the vote—my addition) postcards. The group sent 77,000 pieces of literature encouraging early voting distributed throughout churches and parishes and had 73,000 phone calls to identified pro-life voters made by volunteers.

Dannenfelser said three full-page newspaper ads and two half-page ads in the Albuquerque Journal included one exposing the true risk to mothers in a late abortion procedure by showing informed consent forms women must sign before undergoing abortion.

Some pro-life advocates may have accidentally voted against the ban thinking they were voting against abortion.”

Wealth in the Senate: This is a couple of years old but it is the latest information I could fine with a quick search. Notice the top seven are all Democrats—the supposed Party of the poor and underprivileged! John Kerry is now Secretary of State. Herb Kohl is no longer in the Senate. Frank Lautenberg recently died, has been replaced, and his widow was given $174,000 by Congress using a provision in a law just passed. Of course, all seven, as Democrats, are pro-MURDER in their voting records although back home they may claim otherwise!

Some reasons why the pro-life effort lost in Albuquerque:

1) It is a typical Democrat controlled city and therefore an uphill battle

2) Outspent four to one

3) It is a university town and therefore had a large number of young, unmarried women who have been propagandized for years and do not realize yet that it is the Democrat Party who is waging the real “War on Women”

4) A university women’s program campaigned for its defeat (Most States legally require neutrality in such elections so this may have been a violation of State law although nothing will be done about it.)

5) Typical Democrat voter fraud (3% advantage from the beginning)

6) The wording on the ballot was confusing

7) The city makes money on the abortion clients as many come from out of State and out of country to have a late term abortion.

As was pointed out, this ballot issue did better than Mitt Romney did in 2012. We need to keep fighting up and down the nation at all levels of government. We will lose some battles but we have already won the war because we are fighting for life! However, the more battles we win, the more lives that will be saved. I have no doubt that lives were saved and will be saved in Albuquerque because of this fight even if the initiative vote lost. We can do it all over in the future. It took the gambling industry 5 ballot initiatives to finally legalize gambling in Ohio! And that was to legalize sin. We need to continually expose the sin of MURDERING unborn babies! Do not lose heart! NEVER SURRENDER!

I know that I said I was going to post about the Albuquerque, New Mexico election result yesterday. I have been having computer problems and have not been able to write the material. I’m still having problems. I’ll try to fix them this weekend. In the meantime, a post that is related to the recent one I posted about pro-life candidates making that issue the main issue. One of the problems is that some pro-life candidates allow for exceptions which I believe hurts their position. Today, a post on the fallacy of with exceptions.

The word ‘exception’ is tossed around the abortion debate forum as one of the major reasons pro-choicers and some so-called pro-lifers think abortion must remain legal.

‘Exception’ can mean anything from children conceived in rape to children with health conditions, to women who feel they can’t afford a baby. But these exceptions are people, just as any other unborn child is (And for whatever the reason—logical or illogical—MURDER is still MURDER!—my addition). And Choices 4 Life has produced a documentary to show us just that.

Juda Myers is a woman who was conceived in rape and placed for adoption. She was raised in a loving home and at the age of 48 was able to meet her birth mother, who had fought to keep her baby from being aborted. ‘Pro-Life Without Exception’ features a variety of stories, including that of Anna, who was sexually abused as a child by her stepfather. After he forced her to have an abortion, she became pregnant again at the age of thirteen and hid the pregnancy in order to protect her baby. She shares her moving story while her daughter Josie sits by her side, with the obvious love and pride she feels for her mother written on her face.

The documentary also shares the story of Nona, who was coerced into aborting the child she conceived in rape. As a result of the abortion, she was never able to carry another child to term.
