Presidential election cycle—nothing new?

My book—The Black Sword: The Secret U.S. Army in Vietnam—is available by mail (not yet in book stores). See post on July 31, 2008 entitled The Black Sword.

I suggest you check out the following website if you are a policy holder of Farmers Insurance Group or thinking about having them insure you in any capacity: www.farmersinsurancegroupsucks.com

Based upon past historical data: 3,287+ UNBORN BABY MURDERS have occurred in the last 24 hours in the United States. See my post “BABY HOLOCAUST” posted January 22, 2008.

I’ve been involved in a problem one of my clients has with Farmers Insurance Group. My previous posts in relation to this problem were:

I will not be continuing my Creationism posts today. I do not plan to get to them until after the general election in November.

I do plan to discuss Iraq before the election. I am sorry for the change in plans. Plans, in reality, often are altered for one reason or another. “The best laid plans … often go astray.” Thank you for your understanding and patience.

How many unborn toddlers were murdered today because of the humanistic, paganish, barbaric decisions of the United States Supreme Court?

After my last post, a person I know, who is a few years older than me but with whom I had one political science class while in college, said that the present 8 year cycle that I pointed out in my last post was probably nothing new. I disagreed with him at the time he said it. However, to make sure, I went back and checked Presidential history based upon which party controlled the Presidency. Tonight, that history:

Consecutive years of party control of the Presidency:

01) Federalists—1789-1800 (12 years) [This includes George Washington who the source said was not affiliated with a party but who nevertheless identified with the Federalists.]

Era of “Good Feelings” (officially started in 1816)

02) Democratic-Republicans—1801-1828 (28 years)
03) Democrats—1829-1840 (12 years) [if include Democratic-Republicans and Democrats as one party as do the Democrats = 40 years]

Pre Civil War:

04) Whigs—1841-1844 (4 years)
05) Democrats—1845-1848 (4 years)
06) Whigs—1849-1852 (4 years)
07) Democrats—1853-1860 (8 years)

Civil War to Great Depression:

08) Republicans—1861-1884 (24 years)
09) Democrats—1885-1888 (4 years) [This began a unique period where a Democrat won the Presidency, lost the Presidency, and then won for a second time.]
10) Republicans—1889-1892 (4 years)
11) Democrats—1893-1896 (4 years)
12) Republicans—1897-1912 (16 years)
13) Democrats—1913-1920 (8 years)
14) Republicans—1921-1932 (12 years) [56 years for Republicans to 16 years for Democrats]

Great Depression and World War II:

15) Democrats—1933-1948 (16 years)

After World War II:

1) Democrats—1949-1952 (4 years)
2) Republicans—1953-1960 (8 years)
3) Democrats—1961-1968 (8 years)
4) Republicans—1969-1976 (8 years)
5) Democrats—1977-1980 (4 years) [This was the Carter Presidency and is the only time that a party was only able to hold on to the Presidency for four years considering that Truman held the Presidency for almost 8 years after the death of FDR—1945-1952.]
6) Republicans—1981-1992 (12 years) [This is the only twelve year sequence in the recurring cycle—in actuality, taking the second term of the Carter cycle.]
7) Democrats—1993-2000 (8 years)
8) Republicans—2001-2008 (8 years)

My conclusion: This eight year cycle (one four year cycle for the Democrats and one corresponding 12 year cycle for the Republicans) is unique to the nation since World War II. Consequently, I repeat my concluding paragraphs from the previous post:

If this cycle holds true, the Democrats are destined to win the Presidency. If that happens, unless the Obama Presidency is a total disaster even to Democrats, he would be re-nominated. Hillary Clinton is now 60 years-of-age and would be 68 before her next realistic opportunity to seek the nomination. She would be 68 and 16 years removed from her husband’s Presidency. Also, according to the cycle, it would be likely that even if nominated, she would lose to the Republican candidate.

Rest assured, the Clintons know this. Their best hope was to win the nomination this year. Their second best hope is: Barack Obama loses to John McCain and Hillary receives the nomination in 2012 that was “stolen” from her in 2008. Her battle cry: “I would have won the Presidency. Don’t make the same mistake twice.” In 2012, John McCain would be 76 and, as said before, since 1948, no party has controlled the Presidency for more than 12 years when an incumbent lost to a CLINTON. Rest assured, the Clintons know this.

Do you think Bill and Hillary want Barack Obama to win in 2008? What will they do?
