“Thursday, September 8th, at 6:30PM, Don Vance, who was born and raised in Morton and graduated with a M.S. in political science from Illinois State, will speak to the Morton 9/12 group at Freedom Hall. The theme is “Restoring the Constitution thru Knowing the Constitution.”

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP)—Weeks after Indiana began the nation’s broadest school voucher program, thousands of students have transferred from public to private schools, causing a spike in enrollment at some Catholic institutions that were only recently on the brink of closing for lack of pupils.
It’s a scenario public school advocates have long feared: Students fleeing local districts in large numbers, taking with them vital tax dollars that often end up at parochial schools.
Opponents say the practice violates the separation of church and state. (As I’ve said repeatedly, there is NO such thing as a “separation of church and State” within the U.S. Constitution! It is a LIE perpetuated by the federal courts!—my addition)
In at least one district, public school principals have been pleading with parents not to move their children.
‘The bottom line from our perspective is, when you cut through all the chaff, nobody can deny that public money is going to be taken from public schools, and they’re going to end up in private, mostly religious schools,’ said Nate Schnellenberger, president of the Indiana State Teachers Association.
Under a law signed in May by Governor Mitch Daniels, more than 3,200 Indiana students are receiving vouchers to attend private schools (A small number of the total school population!—my addition). That number is expected to climb significantly in the next two years as awareness of the program increases and limits on the number of applicants are lifted.
The vouchers are government-issued certificates that can be applied to private tuition, essentially allowing parents to channel some of the tax dollars they would normally pay to public schools to other institutions.
Until Indiana started its program, most voucher systems were limited to poor students, those in failing schools or those with special needs (Which, of course, discriminates against a majority of students and their families!—my addition). But Indiana’s is significantly larger, offering money to students from middle-class homes and solid school districts.
Nearly 70 percent of the vouchers approved statewide are for students opting to attend Catholic schools (Because they are in existence and offer something often lacking in public schools—discipline! I know a number of parents who are not Catholic but sent their children to Catholic schools for the stricter discipline in Catholic schools!—my addition), according to figures provided to The Associated Press by the five dioceses in Indiana. The majority are in the urban areas of Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend and Gary, where many public schools have long struggled.
John Elcesser, executive director of the Indiana Non-Public Education Association, said it's not surprising that Catholic schools are receiving so many of the vouchers, even though they make up fewer than half of the 415 schools in the group.
Most Catholic schools already had state accreditation, which some private schools lack. And they are more established and have more space available, he said.
John West, an attorney for a group suing to stop the Indiana program, said during a hearing on the issue that only six of the 240 private schools that have signed up for the voucher program are secular.” (So!?—my addition)
“Other states that have introduced voucher programs also have seen booms in parochial school enrollment.
In Ohio, where children from low-performing public schools can use vouchers to attend private schools, about 70 percent of students receiving vouchers have used them to attend Catholic schools, said Chad Aldis, executive director of School Choice Ohio.
That demand comes at a price to public schools, which say the voucher program siphons off money they need.”
Here is the essence of the situation. Education is based upon SUPPLY and DEMAND just as any other product in the marketplace is based upon supply and demand. I wrote three posts earlier this month about a government school district in Florida that had violated a teacher’s “freedom of speech” rights. When government schools have a monopoly or a near monopoly, they have a tendency to arrogantly believe they can do whatever they want without worrying about parent reaction.
I had planned to include several examples of schools doing ridiculous things in the name of education. However, the post would have been much longer than I like to post for one day. As I said in my earlier post about the Florida school, when a school does outrageous things and won’t repent, I advise Christians to home school or send their children to a private school.
Voucher programs are and will be positive for government schools. They help to improve the supply and demand equilibrium. Competition is created! And government schools will improve or die!!! Creating competition will improve government education to a far, far greater extent than the federal government’s Unconstitutionally mandated “No Child Left Behind” nonsense! Competition is a positive for education!!!
However, it may NOT be a positive for teacher unions. Could that be why unions automatically oppose competition in any form??? Could that be why teacher unions have already endorsed President Barack Hussein Obama for a second term!

Since Rick Santelli’s rant on February 19, 2009, and the subsequent nationwide Tea Party protests on April 15 that year, we’ve been told by liberal Democrats, dinosaur Republicans, and their allies in the mainstream media, that we’re radicals and it’s up to us to dial down the rhetoric. I’ve been to hundreds of tea parties, and any claims that we’re radicals or extremists can only be made by those who haven’t attended these rallies. We are just everyday Americans who are exercising their First Amendment rights. We even leave the sites better than we found them!
This hasn’t stopped those who wish to silence us from claiming anything to the contrary. On July 27, Sen. John McCain called us hobbits. His ally in the White House, Vice President Joe Biden, called us terrorists just five days later, about the same time that Senator John Kerry castigated the media and told them they were morally obligated to silence us. (See #11 above On—my addition) August 13, Sen. Harry Reid told the newspapers that the tea party is fading away, and just last Friday, Representative Maxine Waters told an audience at her town hall event that ‘the Tea Party can go straight to hell’ (you can see a video of the rabid applause she received from the public employee unions by visiting our blog).
The absurdity involved in us being lectured to tone down the rhetoric while our opponents are free to say literally whatever they want, regardless of the truth involved or venom attached to it, is exactly why we’re working with TheTeaParty.net to launch our ‘We are the Tea Party’ campaign. With the constant barrage of hate and lies directed at us, it’s time for the Tea Party to stand up to the bullies in the establishment and say, ‘Regardless of what you say, THIS is who we are!’
We’ve shot some great footage for the ad, and we’re now editing it together and will be able to show you a rough cut soon. But as we’re waiting for the ad to finish production, we need to start buying up airtime on the cable news networks in order to get it on the air as soon as it’s available. Since Ramadan began for Muslims about two weeks ago, there have been 102 terror attacks around the world in the name of Islam, costing 439 lives, according to The Religion of Peace website.
Its ‘Bombathon 2011 Scorecard’ indicates that during the same period, there have been zero attacks in the name of all other religions costing zero lives and zero attacks by ‘anti-Muslim’ right-wingers, again costing zero lives.
So what does U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, a Barack Obama appointee, make terrorists look like in a new public service announcement that encourages Americans to report ‘suspicious’ behavior to authorities? (The best thing about the appointment of Janet Napolitano in 2009 was that she was NO LONGER Governor of Arizona! The worst thing about the appointment of Janet Napolitano is that she is NOW the Secretary of Homeland Security!!! However, one Obama appointee is just about the same as another Obama appointee!!!—my addition)
The DHS suggests a typical woman terrorist would be in her late 20s or early 30s, with brunette hair, stylish clothing, high heels and a shoulder bag, and Caucasian. A man? About the same age, short hair, wearing a shirt and slacks and familiar with technology, as he’s wearing an earpiece cellphone. And Caucasian.
The video follows by only weeks an earlier DHS video that featured nearly two dozen people as terrorists, of which 17 are white males, two are white females, one is a black female, one a black male and one of Middle Eastern descent.
So people are starting to question exactly why, if the goal is to alert citizens to the behavior of terrorists, aren't the Muslims who actually commit nearly all of the world's terror attacks not properly represented.

said a headline on the counter-terrorist website 4Jihad Watch recently.
It, like several reports of the video, dripped with sarcasm.
‘Don’t they know,’ wrote Jihad Watch director Robert Spencer, ‘stereotyping causes alienation, and alienation and poor self-esteem lead to radicalization? How these poor men are going to have to deal with those additional radicalized Misunderstanders of Middle America and worry about backlash because of their portrayal in this video! And this is going to damage our standing with middle-class white guys abroad in nations that are our Friends and Allies, and create even more terrorists.’ (Who will all be middle-class white guys!!! At least, one of whom isn’t very good at remaining undetected as he continues scoping out a target as a woman looks over his shoulder! I guess he is just concentrating too hard on the task at hand!—my addition)
The Daily Mail in the United Kingdom reported the video has caused ‘outrage by characterizing white middle class Americans as the most likely terrorists.’ (Surely not in the U.S.?—my addition)
The July video, the newspaper noted, portrays terrorists as white and ‘the people who report them are either black, Asian or Arab.’ (Seems logical and rational doesn’t it!—my addition)
‘What would happen—it is asked—if it was the other way about?’ (That would NEVER happen under this Administration!!!—my addition)
On the Jihad Watch forum, a contributor warned of negative consequences.
‘We are sick and tired of being portrayed as helpless chumps just taking it once again on the chin. The minorities who [despise] us take full advantage and demean us at every turn. It will become ugly one of these days,’ said ‘DogWithoutSlippers.’
a report that the FBI has begun handing out brochures to surplus supply stores, motels, hotels, gun shops and others asking proprietors to watch for ‘indicators of terror activity that could include paying cash for items, buying supplies such as ‘night flashlights,’ and matches in a waterproof container.’ (Survivalists?—my addition)
Napolitano announced on a government website that DHS has been working to reduce risks by focusing on ‘hometown security.’
‘In other words, we are all stakeholders in the effort to keep our families and communities, our businesses, our social networks, and our places of meeting and worship, secure and resilient. Together, we’re building a strong foundation to protect communities from terrorism and other threats, while safeguarding the fundamental rights of all Americans,’ she wrote. (In their world, all whites are potential Timothy McVeigh’s!!! By the way, when I typed in “Timothy Mc” in my search engine, the first selection was Timothy McVeigh. How long ago was that and he’s still famous!!! Will I be added to a watch list since I googled him???—my addition)
And while noting, ‘There is no single profile of a would-be terrorist (Actually, there is a very accurate profile! It’s just that the higher-ups refuse to use it!!!—my addition) we therefore don’t have the luxury of focusing our efforts on any particular group,’ the videos focus on white males, along with a few females, in the role of terrorist.
But even on her website, the politically correct calculations were noted:
‘Every American with any understanding of Islam is tired of the nonsense and propaganda coming out of the administration," wrote one forum page participant. ‘We are tired of the fact that violent terrorism is mandated in the Quran and Hadith, Muslims commit acts of terrorism EVERYDAY the world over, and the know-nothings in government sit around pretending like Islam and Muslims have nothing to do with terrorism. We are tired of ‘violent extremism’ being put in place of the words Islamofascists, Muslims, and Islamic terrorism.’
Another added, ‘I agree wholeheartedly. As a friend to many soldiers who are and have been deployed in Muslim countries, I have heard again and again how unreal the image this administration is trying to project about both who Muslims are and what they truly believe. It is not the people who are necessarily violent but the teachings inherent in the religion itself. It is more a political ideology concerned with conquest and takeover than it is a religion or body of true moral and or theologically oriented guidelines. All one has to do is to look at the European countries to see the impact that Islam is having on our world. The rioting, the constant menacing threats, the rate of Muslim crime including gay beatings and murder and the rape and gang rape of girls and women. They are going after these people with intent to harm.’
Added a third, ‘It seems to me that the administration and the DHS’s main concern for terrorism (worst enemy) these days is the patriotic Christian American citizen. I got news for you, you better pack a lunch …’
On a YouTube page featuring one of the videos from the government was a snide comment:
‘‘Good afternoon, can I help you sir.’
‘Yes, I would like to report something suspicious.’
‘Certainly sir, what is that?’
‘Well, some planes are flying overhead today spraying the air with poison, someone’s putting a toxic industrial byproduct called fluoride in my water, some guys at the airport tried to irradiate me, that swine flu vaccine my Dr. wants to give me has toxic poisons in it and my Government wants me to start spying on my neighbors.’
‘Oh sir, that’s not suspicious, that’s for your protection.’’
The DHS previously has released video public service announcements about terrorism in conjunction with the NCAA, the Mall of America, Walmart and others.
But an online commentary noted the 2009 report from the DHS on ‘Rightwing Extremism,’ and said, ‘The underlying messages of this video are incredible. Blacks are encouraged to report to the Department of Homeland Security any suspicious activities of whites. Whites are predominantly purveyors of terrorism in America. Terrorism is not connected to any religion or race, except whites.’
‘Truth is, this is a $180 million taxpayer funded class warfare propaganda film pitting Americans against Americans on the basis of race, while at the same time ignoring the very fact that the overwhelming majority of terrorist acts are perpetrated by followers of Islam.’
posted a report on an analyst that looked at the ‘place of birth, age, religion, and affiliations’ of terrorists.
The report, however, had not a single mention of the perpetrators’ ‘religion.’ (Not relevant?—my addition)
Instead, the report focused on the fact that ‘almost half of those arrested for plotting or carrying out attacks against the United States had prior criminal records, mostly for small-time offenses.’
The comments seemed to grow more acidic as the online discussions continued. Said one on the Patriot Update site, ‘Well, I for one am truly OFFENDED that a white woman and a white tax driver would be portrayed as terrorists. We already have enough to do as racists.’
Said another, ‘I agree. Being an intolerant, virulent racist takes an incredible amount of time and energy … There’s only so much time in the day for evil white conservatives to wreak havoc and spread mayhem. Liberals insist we want to destroy America, oppress minority communities and hate Muslim people everywhere … I don’t know how we manage when most of us are working two jobs, raising our children and just trying to keep our heads above water.’
WND reported only a week earlier on the FBI requests of business managers and owners to spy on their customers in order to determine whether there were any indicators of terrorist activities.
The move followed by just days the White House announcement of a community-based approach to combating terrorism in the United States.
‘Indicators’ to watch for included customers who pay in cash, make ‘extreme’ religious statements or purchase products such as waterproof matches, or even ‘night flashlights.’
The request from the government also went to gun shops, fertilizer suppliers, motels and hotels, authorities say.”
‘ … [T]he Department of Homeland Security’s 2009 report ‘Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment’ that suggested ‘the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups.’
The report from the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis defined right-wing extremism in the U.S. as ‘divided into those groups, movements and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups) and those that are mainly anti-government, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.’
The DHS report had followed only by weeks a report from the Missouri Information Analysis Center that linked conservative groups to domestic terrorism.
The Missouri report warned law enforcement agencies to watch for suspicious individuals who may have bumper stickers for presidential candidates such as Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin. It further warned law enforcement to watch out for individuals with ‘radical’ ideologies based on Christian views, such as opposing illegal immigration, abortion and federal taxes. (In my case, two out of three isn’t bad! I don’t oppose the federal income tax. I just refuse to file as long as we, as a government, are financing the MURDER of unborn babies!!!—my addition)
Officials with Oath Keepers.org noted the document was similar to one earlier given to gun store managers in Utah. Authorities in Denver confirmed to WND that related brochures are going to surplus stores, hotels and motels, farm supply companies that handle fertilizer and gun shops.
‘This new handout expands the absurdity by now also targeting customers of military surplus stores, and by specifically targeting the purchasing of very common, and very popular, preparedness items such as Meals Ready to Eat (MREs) as ‘potential indicators of terrorist activities,’’ said a statement from Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes.
‘Islamic terrorists are not known to hang out in local Army-Navy surplus stores, stocking up on MREs, high capacity magazines and bi-pods for their long range rifles,’ the statement said. ‘As Brandon Smith, over at Alt-market.com notes, ‘These are very common purchases, not for terrorists, but for Preppers and Survivalists, who are obviously the targets of the FBI profile, not secret al-Qaida agents.’
‘Spot on,’ Rhodes wrote. ‘Obviously, the current crop of FBI ‘leadership’ considers anyone who wants to be self-sufficient and prepared to be a ‘threat’ that should be relentlessly tracked and reported.’
An FBI spokesman in Denver confirmed to WND that the flyer is genuine.
‘It has been disseminated throughout the United States by the FBI. The flyer and the information on it, stands on its own merit. It was created by FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., the Denver Division has placed our contact information on the flyer and distributed it to local businesses within the states of Colorado and Wyoming.
"I assure you the process and the information has been well vetted by the Department of Justice before being released.’ (Right! The same Department of “Justice” that refused to prosecute Black “hoodlums” who “terrorized” Black voters who were going to the polls in the 2008 election!!! Videos are available! In addition to contact information for the FBI, the flyer also had a telephone number for the Colorado Information Analysis Center, a law enforcement ‘fusion’ center where director Dana Reynolds told WND it’s just part of the information-collecting done by the government.”

On Monday, AFA asked you to take action on behalf of Florida teacher Jerry Buell, who was unconstitutionally suspended by the Lake County school administration for posting his support for traditional marriage on his Facebook page.
Directly related to your taking action, along with other Christians, sending tens of thousands of emails to the Lake County School Board, the school has immediately rescinded its suspension of Mr. Buell and he will be back in his classroom tomorrow morning!
According to a just-held press conference by Mr. Buell and his legal representation, Liberty Counsel Attorney Harry Mihet, outside the Lake County Board of Education Administration Building, the school board acknowledged it violated Mr. Buell’s First Amendment rights by suspending him.

Jerry Buell, a highly respected Florida public school teacher, voiced his opposition to ‘same-sex marriage’ on his personal Facebook account. Now, the 22-year veteran teacher is fighting for his right to teach—and Liberty Counsel has come to his defense! Read the chilling details of this travesty below—Mat.
When Jerry Buell, last year’s ‘Teacher of the Year’ at Mount Dora High School in Florida, saw that New York had legalized ‘same-sex marriage,’ he did what many people did. He expressed his disapproval on the Facebook social media network—on his personal time, his personal computer, and on his personal page. (One person who takes “offense” can destroy a person’s career for expressing his personal opinion on a matter? What has happened to the United States of America?—my addition)
Buell commented that homosexuality is wrong and that seeing two ‘grooms’ kissing on a news story revolted him. A former student from his school saw his post, took offense, and ‘reported’ him to school system officials. Now, Jerry Buell is fighting for reinstatement!
Citing an ethics code violation pending an investigation, the Lake County School District responded by taking away his teaching privileges and reassigning him to administrative duties.
Liberty Counsel quickly moved to defend Jerry Buell’s rights!
Liberty Counsel is now representing Mr. Buell and demanding that he be immediately reinstated with an apology for violating his First Amendment rights. The school district’s response to Buell’s comments is unconstitutional, violating his right to free speech.

from the classroom in Mount Dora, Florida, for comments made on his Facebook page against homosexual ‘marriage.’ Liberty Counsel will be representing the teacher in court.
In response to New York’s passage of a same-sex marriage bill, Jerry Buell criticized the new law in a pair of Facebook posts. He wrote, ‘If they want to call it a union, go ahead. But don’t insult a man and woman’s marriage by throwing it in the same cesspool of whatever. God will not be mocked. When did this sin become acceptable?’
Just minutes later, he added, ‘I will never accept it because God will never accept it. Romans chapter one.’
This reference to Scripture and man-woman marriage has now been labeled as a ‘code ethics violation’ by school officials.
Mr. Buell is currently subject to an Inquisition-type investigation. The school will not let him back into the classroom, says a school official, ‘until we do all the interviews and do a thorough job of looking at everything—past or previous writings.’
Says Mr. Buell, ‘It was my own personal comment on my own personal time on my own personal computer in my own personal house, exercising what I believed as a social studies teacher to be my First Amendment rights.’
“It’s worth noting that Florida’s constitution prohibits recognition of same-sex marriage, the exact view Mr. Buell supports. In essence, he is now being accused of hate speech for expressing a view enshrined in the state constitution.

I recently had another cherished chat over the phone with my 84 year old black dad. He lives in Maryland. I live in Florida. Dad, sharp as ever, still pastors four churches. He also volunteers a few days a week teaching at an elementary school.
Dad told me about an outrageously unruly and disruptive little boy in his class. Dad said,
‘Every time I take him to the office for discipline, they do nothing and send the disobedient child back to my class.’ Dad jokingly said, ‘Does this kid have something on you guys? Why do you keep letting him off Scott free?’ Dad, the answer to why the school is not administering discipline is liberalism.’
Excited, I thought, ‘This is a great opportunity to talk to dad about the evils and failure of liberalism which is the ideology of his idolized black president, Obama.’
Dad is a strong Christian who lives by conservative principles and values. And yet, he always votes democrat. Dad is old school in his political beliefs; democrats are for the little guy. Republicans are rich, white and racist. Dad is clueless to the fact that the leadership of his beloved democrat party has been hijacked by the far left. Blind to his own racism, Obama is dad’s hero solely because he is black.
Perhaps, my explaining how liberalism hurts people will give dad a better insight into why his first born is a black conservative republican and does not share his admiration for the first black president. Thus, I am, excuse the pun, the ‘black sheep’ of our black family.
A part of me wants to say, ‘Dad, what on earth is the matter with you? Snap out of it! As a Christian, how can you justify your almost idol worship of Obama whose policies go against your Christian principles and values? (A very GOOD question!—my addition) Does your loyalty to skin color override your commitment to Christ?’ (Another very GOOD question!!!—my addition)
Call me wimpy or old fashion, but confronting my dad ‘straight up’ feels disrespectful. Also, attacking dad’s superhero directly would be unfruitful. I must take a more stealth approach to educating dad about the truth of Obama’s destructive agenda. I thought, ‘I will attack liberalism rather than Obama.’
Confidently, I stated, ‘Dad, liberalism is black America’s greatest enemy. Allow me to explain how liberalism sounds compassionate, but in reality, is extremely destructive, counter to the human spirit and is destroying our great country. I give you Liberal Dad vs Conservative Dad.’
One morning Liberal Dad says to his little boy, ‘Wake up Johnny, time for school.’ Johnny whines, ‘Dad, I don’t want to go to school. It is hard and not much fun. The kids are mean!’ Liberal Dad replies, ‘You’re right son. I feel your pain (Or, it’s not FAIR!!!—my addition). You can stay home.’
Conservative Dad would say, ‘Jonathan Brandon Whatever, the third, you get your butt out of that bed and get ready for school this instant! I realize school can be difficult. I’ll speak with your teachers and join the PTA. Your future success and happiness depend upon you acquiring a good education. I am forcing you to go to school because I love you!’
Which father displayed the most ‘true’ compassion? Answer: Obviously, Conservative Dad.
I continued explaining to my dad how liberalism tends to be about instant gratification and being generous with other folk’s hard earned money. So, you’re an immigrant desirous of reaping the benefits of U.S. citizenship. Liberals say we totally understand you choosing not to trouble yourself with taking the legal path to citizenship, just sneak across our border. Liberals condemn all enforcement of U.S. immigration laws as being racist and cruel. And, God forbid we conservatives dare hold anyone accountable for bad behavior. Liberals accuse us of being ‘holier than thou.’
I told dad how 50% of black males are not graduating high school. Why not? A high school education is free (At least for that individual student!—my addition). Again, the problem is liberalism which encourages a break down in standards and morals. Yes, I said morals. Don’t paint me as a Bible thumping fanatic for mentioning the liberal hated ‘M’ word. (And morality, true Christian morality is hated by the left!!!—my addition)
In the 1950s when racism truly was a problem for blacks in America, most black kids grew up in two parent homes. Today, after 60 years of liberal democrat entitlement programs, most black kids are growing up in fatherless homes. No matter how you slice it, something is seriously wrong in the black community. And it has nothing to do with white folks nor republicans.
These fatherless black boys make babies and join gangs. Typical of liberal screwed up thinking, I heard a PhD on TV say, ‘There is nothing a father can teach his son which the child can not learn from his single mother.’ I thought, ‘Good lord, this woman went to college to learn this crap!’ Newsflash libs, males crave male bonding and leadership. Why do you think they join gangs? This is not rocket science!
Liberal entitlement/welfare policies are exploitive. They encourage a destructive cycle of out of wedlock births and government dependency (The modern day form of SLAVERY—my addition). Sadly, these poor souls created by government to be insecure in regards to their ability continue to vote democrat to keep the freebies coming. (Trading a few freebies for FREEDOM!!!—my addition)
History confirms Americans respond swiftly, enthusiastically and cheerfully to lending a hand to neighbors in need domestic and foreign. Regardless of liberals’ anti-America rhetoric, we are the most generous nation on the planet (Because it is a CHRISTIAN trait!—my addition). We have no problem with government providing a safety net. We do disagree with folks turning the safety net into a hammock.
Despite his black son being active in the movement and even writing and performing the ‘American Tea Party Anthem,’ for crying out load, dad believes the tea party is racist. Yes, he believes the NAACP, CNN and the other liberal media over me. Still, I interjected in our conversation how the tea party is about rejecting liberalism and has nothing to do with race.
Without directly attacking his hero, Obama, I believe my conversation with my dad ended with him a little more enlightened to the evils and failures of liberalism. Excellent!

CNN traveled with us on Tea Party Express, to approximately 40 rallies nationwide. I, a black conservative, opened each rally singing my ‘American Tea Party Anthem.’ And yet, not I nor any of the other blacks on our team were seen in the CNN documentary; thus, causing viewers to conclude the Tea Party Movement is a ‘white thing.’
For the most part, the liberal media ignores black conservatives. And when they do interview one of us, it is from a, ‘Can you believe this stupid Uncle Tom,’ point of view.
Unfortunately, conservative media and most tea party organizers do not seem to grasp the strategic wisdom in featuring and supporting black conservatives.
Brothers and sisters, the Left is exploiting Obama’s skin color for everything it is worth. Their guy in the indestructible black coat of armor is making all of their liberal dreams come true; usurping more power than any ‘white’ president could imagine in his wildest dreams. (True!!!—my addition)
You can’t say ‘no’ to Obama. He’s black! All opposition is racist. Folks, the left is fighting to win, working the ‘black thing’ to the hilt. We can not afford to leave our black weapons of mass influence on the sidelines.
Our economy is an unprecedented disaster. Pundits are saying under ‘normal conditions’ the president would be fired. However, they believe Obama will be re-elected. (I don’t!!! And I PRAY he doesn’t!!! And it has NOTHING to do with skin color!!! I don’t care a hoot about a person’s skin color! I care about his character! Does he support the MURDER of unborn babies? Does he support immoral homosexual behavior? Does he oppose GOD?—my addition) ‘Normal conditions’ means if the president was white. In other words, pundits believe Obama’s black skin is the ultimate trump card deflating all opposition to his systematic destruction of America.
Patriots, a second Obama term is the end of America as we know it.
Meanwhile, black conservatives are giving it their all, tirelessly fighting to defeat Obama; for the most part, in anonymity.
We have many great black conservatives on our side. They should be featured front and center at our rallies, TV shows, radio shows and etc; not for the sake of black conservatives, but in defense of our Tea Party Movement. (TRUE!!!—my addition)
Here’s how a black radio talk show host began his interview with me, ‘If they (meaning white tea partiers) want to attract black people, the least credible thing they could do is to stick a black guy out front wearing a cowboy hat (meaning me).’
I wanted to say, ‘Screw you and end the interview.’ But, a still small voice in my brain said,
‘Hang in the there.’ I boldly espoused conservative principles. His scheduled 10 minute radio interview with me went for 30 minutes. Remarkably, every caller into the program agreed with me. Praise God! Folks, we have got to take our message to the black community.
Also, funding should be targeted to take our Tea Party message to the black community. Seasoned politicians say nothing gets votes like going to the people; knocking on doors and showing up at community events.
Obama and his minions including the liberal media continue to lie about the intentions of the tea party. In a soon to be released book, Obama says the tea party is motivated by race. It’s time we go to the black community and tell our side of the story, the truth (AGREED!!!—my addition). Let black America know the tea party has nothing to do with race and everything to do with preserving our freedom, liberty and culture.
I am trying to launch a mini tour to black colleges titled, ‘Reach Your Dreams.’ The message of my rallies targeted to black youths is, ‘The best route to reaching your dreams is conservatism.’ The rallies will feature mostly black conservative speakers including a few black conservative rappers. This is refreshingly honest, and VERY timely! The head of the national Black Chamber of Commerce actually says that Obama is ‘starting to look Marxist’ to him; he admitted that he voted for Obama ‘because he’s black,’ he said he fell for the ‘hope’ propaganda, and that he’ll take that mistake with him to the grave.
He railed on Obama for wanting $7/gallon gasoline, and for having as much success as Obama has had in making gasoline prices ‘necessarily skyrocket’ (he doesn’t use those exact words). He was VERY CRITICAL of Barack Hussein Obama. He predicted that Obama would get less than 35% of the ‘black vote.’ Laura Ingraham was stunned. (I don’t think it will be that low. It should be! It should be lower! But, I don’t think it will be!—my addition)
This is the guy who failed to kiss the ring of ‘Senator’ Barbara Boxer, and accused her of being ‘racial.’ He called her out for her racist, condescending attitude toward him. Love this guy ...
Today he joined Laura Ingraham on her radio show to talk about Obama’s business policies. He started with this:
‘Obama wanted the National Black Chamber to dance to his music and have blind allegiance to his crazy programs and agenda, which are totally anti-business. We are a pro-business organization. So we have to stand on the side of business, and the benefit of our members, which are black entrepreneurs.’
Eventually he got to calling Obama and the administration ‘Marxist’ and ‘fanatical.’
‘They might as well put on the brown shirts and swastikas,’ he said.
But that’s not all. Alford also admitted he only voted for Obama ‘because he’s [Obama] black,’ a move he now regrets.
‘That is a lesson I will take to my grave,’ he said solemnly, later saying Obama is ‘wrecking’ the country and is ‘dangerous.’”
The fact is that government dependency is the new slavery for both Blacks and whites and any other groups who become government dependent!!! And the left wants EXACTLY that—government dependency!!!

I apologize for some of the language. Normally, I would not post this video because of it. However, I want to make a point based upon this video in my comments on this post.
My comments:
1) 29 seconds into the video, Barack Hussein Obama is shaking hands surrounded by a white crowd . Is he a racist? Are there any Blacks in the crowd? Where are they?
2) 1 minute, 14 seconds into the video, Barack Hussein Obama is touching the arm of a white woman without first asking permission. Is he sexually harassing her? Is he trying to pick her up?
3) The Black speaker identifies himself as a Tea Party member. But, he’s Black! How is that possible? That’s right—the” Stockholm Syndrome!” What utter NONSENSE!!!
1) 13 seconds into the video, “We (Black members of Congress—my addition) don’t put pressure on the President because you all love the President.” And the Black crowd is reacting negatively to the comment. Someone must have forgotten to tell the crowd of their love for the President!
2) Watching this video, does it seem that the reason the members of the audience are suppose to love the President is because he is a Black man? Is that not a form of racism? Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in his famous “I have a Dream” speech said the following: “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
However, in the above video isn’t she really saying that they are judging Barack Hussein Obama by the color of his skin and not by his character? Isn’t that racist? I read articles, before the last Presidential election, written by Black Christians stating that they were supporting and voting for Barack Hussein Obama because he is a Black man even though he supports the MURDER of unborn babies and champions homosexual behavior—both of which they are opposed to a Christians. Isn’t that racist? Isn’t that voting for him based upon the color of his skin RATHER THAN the content of his character?

Racism is apart of the fabric of this country, unfortunately,’ Garofalo said. ‘How could it not exist when there is a black president?’”
Declaring or implying that Blacks could not, would not be a member of the Tea Party movement or of the Republican Party demonstrates a direct RACIST attitude on the part of the speaker! Declaring or implying that Blacks could not, would not be a member of the Tea Party movement or of the Republican Party without getting paid by one of the two Parties demonstrates a direct RACIST attitude on the part of the speaker! Such statements are declaring that said Blacks are incapable of thinking for themselves. For if they were, they would not be a member of such parties. Rather, they need this white woman to explain to them the reason for their lack of understanding! What gall! What contempt for them!! What utter NONSENSE!!!
Are there racists in the Tea Party movement? Of course, there are.
Are there racists in the Republican Party? Of course, there are.
Are there racists in the Democratic Party? Of course, there are. Both Black and white. And as a member of the Democratic Party for most of my life, I have known them and heard them speak.
Are there racists within the United States? Of course, there are.
Are there racists throughout the world? Of course, there are.
And there will be racists—both Black and white and any other color—until the LORD JESUS CHRIST comes back to this planet to redeem HIS repentant people and take them to Heaven while dispatching all unrepentant people to Hell. Racism is and always will be part of the human condition in our fallen state. Does that mean that everyone or even a majority in a particular movement are racists? OF COURSE NOT!!!
Labeling any group as racists simply means that the particular speakers have no sound arguments against their position(s). Therefore, their only course of action is to resort to “name calling” to replace reason and argument! Calling a whole group of people racists demonstrates a lack of CHARACTER on the part of the speakers!!!
A little history lesson for Ms. Garofalo and all the self-righteous on the Democratic left!
Slavery was not just the custom within the United States—it was the common practice throughout the world and still is in some cultures although more hidden today. In Africa at the time, Black tribes had Black slaves from other rival tribes. Black tribes HELPED white slave traders to capture and enslave rival Blacks from other tribes. Blacks were both the victims and the benefactors of the Black slave trade in Africa!
It was the Democratic Party that was the majority party in the slavery South before the Civil War. It was the Democratic Party that supported and DEFENDED slavery. The Republican Party, in part, came into exist in opposition to slavery in the South. The first Republican President—Abraham Lincoln—was elected President, in part, because of his opposition to slavery. It was the Democratic Party that attempted to withdraw from the Union in order to continue its practice of slavery. It was the Republican Party which fought to prevent that withdrawal and to END slavery!!!
It was the Republican Party which passed the 13th Amendment which ended slavery within the United States. In fact, it was the Republican Party which passed all three of the post Civil War Amendments which were all passed to benefit and protect those who had previously been slaves. Overwhelmingly, Blacks were members of the Republican Party after the Civil War. Blacks were elected to Congress and to State elected positions as members of the Republican Party.
After some time, white Democrats who were still in the numerical majority in the South regained control of the Southern governments. White Democrats passed State laws allowing and requiring discrimination against Blacks in the South. White Democrats formed and participated in such racist organizations as the Ku Klux Klan. The civil rights movement in the South was opposed by white Democrats. White Democrats from the South filibustered against civil rights legislation in the Senate. Civil rights legislation in the Senate would NOT have passed without the support of elected Republican Senators.
So, the question historically is really: why would any Black be a member of the Democratic Party?
